Hi all,

Starting this thread as I’ve started the Blitz today. Will probably just be posting to keep myself accountable but would love to hear about any tips or advice so feel free to join in if you are also starting this or have done it before!

I’ll be doing this over Easter which will be tough but I can’t keep putting it off so on it from today! Smile

I'm quite active anyway - I spin twice a week, do a kettlebelles class, have a pt session and ride as well as walking the dogs most days...but her exercise makes me puff and sweat!

Anybody tried the overnight oats yet? I've made mine to have in the morning. It doesn't look super appetising at the moment and I struggled to get the cinnamon to mix in, hopefully it turns out ok in the morning.

Ooh @RiojaHaze those burgers sound yum! I’m bored of the food already, can’t wait for carb day tomorrow!

I’ve just prepped my overnight oats too @imnottoofussed they looked ok tho and looking forward to eating them as there looked like a lot in the bowl!

Did the workout today at 5:30am.. some was ok but others was hard as my abs still hurt quite a bit but I got it done ✅

Oh also went out last night after work to a pub quiz where we got free food and drink, stuck to water and took my own subway salad instead so felt quite proud of myself for not caving Smile

I wasn't too keen on the oats. Think I needed more banana or some sweetness as I couldn't manage the last few mouthfuls that had no banana left. I'm used to making my overnight oats with a muller light yoghurt so it's sweeter.

I was so sore last night every time I tried to turn over in bed I was in agony Grin I'm sure it will ease though.

I've given up on Chloe's workouts and am doing others instead so that's making me feel more positive. I did joe wicks 15 minute hiit fat loss on YouTube last night after only managing one set of Chloe's plan.

Wondering if we will feel hungrier today with less fat in the food.

Yeah i find high fat keeps me fuller rather than carbs but hoping the carbs ‘satisfy’ me more. Well done on the joe wicks workouts, his aren’t easy! I think as long as you are doing some form of hiit you will see results. Maybe at the end try Chloe’s again and see how much your fitness has improved!

I have to say today has been a struggle ! I find I am just hungry all the time but when I eat my meal I am so bloated from the carbs ...Sad

I’m struggling today too @MunchkinJess Sad what did you have for lunch that’s made you bloated? Have you drunk enough water? What snacks are you having? I find the Greek yoghurt with a bit of agave syrup nice and filling.

I’m the opposite today, I don’t feel hungry but I feel sick again so I don’t even want to eat. Just having an apple as they usually make me feel clean inside! Eugh. If this sickness doesn’t go away I’m not going to be able to do 4 weeks of this.

@ChippyTea16 I had the over night oats for breakfast which I really liked but found I was so hungry after an hour or so . Normally with the high fat breakfast shake I am full till lunch time .

I had chicken breast grilled with green beans and rice for lunch

Rice cakes for 1 snack and protein mush for my second snack .

I feel bloated after eating any form of carbs but I am pretty hungry soon after . Trying to keep myself busy . I've only drink a litre today .

I never managed the 4 litres anyways it's far too much for me ..I normally do 2 to 2.5 litres

I much prefer the high fat days I have to say

I'm hungry and I only just had my evening meal.

Also I've had a mad busy day and the person at home who usually does the shopping ignored my list so I haven't got any of the food I wanted to prep the next 4 days. I can shop tomorrow evening but I'm struggling to sort out what I will be eating tomorrow. I have no broccoli for the soup so can't make it. I may end up with boiled eggs and chicken or something random for lunch. Also only got one snack so might have to have more eggs.

Maybe it's the carbs (hunger) making me grumpy Confused

Oh no seems like everyone has had a crappy carb day! For hunger I’d def say up your water intake but I guess tomorrow is back to high fat so I think you will all be fine!

Apart from a little period of feeling sick earlier I’ve been ok today so really not looking forward to going back to meat and veg tomorrow!

@imnottoofussed can you get to a subway or something tomorrow? One of their salads will be fine I think if you have nothing in. That is a pain tho when you want to prep. Just do what u can tho and you can get your ingredients tomorrow night.

On the positive side only one more workout and we are free for the weekend yay!

Yes keep me positive! No subway but there is a mcolls near work so I can get salad or chicken and veg. Just boiling some eggs now and have sausage defrosting for tomorrow's tea.

I got so upset with this last night - I had a cheeky little weigh and I put 5lbs on! Really disappointed as I've been so good.

But tried again this morning and I've gone back down again so lost 1lb this week and 6lbs in total. How does that even happen?!?!

@MunchkinJess I am doing Mondays workout tonight for exactly the same reason! Grin feel so tired and queasy today tho!

@imnottoofussed stay positive, prepping your eggs and sausages last night is v good and you only need to get through today. I think I’m going to have to buy a salad today too as my leftover peanut chicken stir fry looks rank!

@RiojaHaze oh no that’s so bad but yeah agree not to weigh at night! Plus you are probably gaining muscle so another loss is great! I read once your weight can fluctuate a bit 6lbs in a day which makes me think we should focus on how we are feeling and our measurements more than the scales. It’s hard tho as I have so much weight to lose it’s hard not to focus on the number!

I’m going to use the weekend to try and come up with some recipes that I can eat so I’m not even going to bother trying to force myself to eat veg I don’t like! I’m also going to try using quorn instead of chicken as that’s what is making me feel ill I think!

An exercise-free weekend is almost upon us! Well done to those who have already done their workouts today! X

I'd love some recipe ideas if you're happy to share!

This week I've made chicken curry by basically just adding rogan josh paste to the napolitana recipe and having it with cauli rice (which they sell frozen in aldi which saves so much hassle). That lasted me for 2 lunches and 1 dinner!

Burgers as mentioned before.

Last night I mixed egg, grated courgette and a tin of tuna to make little patties which were really nice and could be eaten cold too.

I started this diet yesterday. Had to go to bed really early as so hungry and could only think of food. Does it improve after a few days?

Hi all, manic day so haven’t been able to post, sorry!

Welcome @Orangesandlemons82 sorry to hear you had rough first day. Did you drink all the water? I know it seems like a lot but it does help with hunger and you get used to the volumes. I found that I thought I was starving but it was more that I wanted to eat my usual snacks of rubbish food making me think I was hungrier than I actually was. How have you got on today?

@RiojaHaze I have done some meal planning today I will post some ideas when I’ve done my workout (wanna get it over with now!)

Today I stayed on plan even tho I met for lunch with my boss to discuss my return to work .

The discussion didn't go well and she basically 💩 on all the suggestions I made.

I was so stressed out by the end of it! Normally I would reach for the chocolate by now but I have stayed strong .

I chose steak with a rocket salad no dressing as it was the best option on the menu

I’m definitly glad to not have to do the hiit today. And I’ve decided that I’m going to have the breakfast protein shakes for lunches sometimes (when I have eggs for breakfast) to mix it up. I really like the shake and I know this will be better than a normal meal at lunchtime for me and won’t make me feel sick to eat it.

I have also attached some pics of the meals I’m planning. Apologies for the format, I did these on a spread sheet and pasted into an email so I’ve just taken screenshots. Basically I’ve written out a protein, a veg and a fat with ‘extras’ such as sauces added in.

DISCLAIMER

As far as possible I’ve tried to stick to what’s on plan but for me I just hate a lot of veg so I’ve substituted some of it for veg I can eat like babycorn. This isn’t on plan (I don’t think) but I figured it’s better to eat veg I like than none at all.

And you will see I’ve snuck some extra things in as well (like peanut butter and peanuts and Thai paste which I’m fairly sure isn’t in the plan!) - I think you can make this on plan if you stick to the measurements but for me I’d rather create meals I can eat that might be slightly off plan than stick to the plan and feel sick and not be able to eat at all if you see what I mean.

Anyway let me know some of your meal plans and go-to recipes as I’m always looking for new ideas!

Going to try and stay busy this weekend and not think about food too much haha! Hope you all have a good weekend! X
