Hey ladies!

I started exante 5 days and I’ve stuck to plan but am struggling to eat enough. I ordered a 2 week pack but I can’t stomach the bars and the lentil pot thing turns my stomach 😂 I’m finding the banana milkshakes bearable but I’m so weak because of such a low calorie intake. I’ve lost 10.5lbs in 4 days which is amazing but I think I’m going to start adding in a small meal in the evenings to keep me going 🙈 I start a new job on Wednesday and need to have some energy!

How are you all getting on? x

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 00:00

hi. i have just finished day 3. today was a little bit harder but only because i didn't drink that much water and went to a supermarket and poundland and walked through the junk food sectionsConfused but it has actually been very easy so far. i havnt been that hungry though i have found the shakes more filling then the meals although have only tried the sweet and sour noodles. think im gonna try to stick with mostly shakes from now on. did struggle a lot with temptation today, had to keep remembering the quotes i downloaded...nothing tastes as good as being skinny feelsSmile and don't give up what you want most for what you want nowSmile

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 00:04

NurseBryan 10.5lbs in 5 days is amazingSmile you should do what you think will stick with longer and if thats adding a meal well then go for it. it will still be low cal and you will deffo lose weightGrin

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 00:06

Idontneedyourjudgement i have found the 1st three days very easy, im hoping it stays like that lol. it is not the hunger that's the problem its the temptationsAngry

Idontneedyourjudgement · 23/10/2018 09:36

Too true Lexie!
I survived day one (nearly caved at lunchtime as I wfh and thought about having "one last blow out", but didn't!

I prefer the bars for the chocolate fix so will keep going with them and try to last the week and weekend (I keep pushing myself thinking how great I'll feel on Monday after my first weigh in!)

Everyone sounds like they're doing well...are you planning on doing exante for a specific duration or until you are a specific weight (mines the latter if I last that long!)

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 14:27

Idontneedyourjudgement i need to lose 3 stone so im hoping to lose atleast 2 with exante. still feeling postive today but starting to miss food lol

Idontneedyourjudgement · 23/10/2018 15:01

Lexie
Are you on day 4 or day 5?
I'm on day 2 and made a pasta and ham soup which smelt vile (so I didn't eat it) and then a caramel shake which was vile (so I didn't drink it) and ended up with a peanut bar again.
Do you think it which products you use will impact on progress as I think I will stick to bars, cookies and choc shakes.....
What products do you recommend?

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 17:12

Idontneedyourjudgement im on day 4, and i havn't tried the bars yet but atm i prefere sticking to the shakes. i have tried strawberry, strawberry and banana, chocolate, chocolate and orange, white chocolate and rasberry (my fave) lemon cheesecake and vanilla and have actually enjoyed them all. i have found sometimes they don't smell as nice as they tasteSmile also i can't imagine certain products would make you lose weight as long as its the same planSmile

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 17:14

are the bars and cookies nice? what flavours would you recommend?

lexie555 · 23/10/2018 17:16

i meant i can't imagine certain pruducts would make you lose MORE weight lol.. these shakes better make me lose weight lolGrin

Idontneedyourjudgement · 23/10/2018 18:17

I understood Lexie 🤪
I have the double choc and peanut and choc bars as these are the only ones they had when I ordered about a month ago.
I've looked today and they have more variety now, so I'll get some different things when I order in a week or so....
I'm hungry today...it's shake o'clock 🤗

CrazyToast · 24/10/2018 20:42

I started today. The ham and pasta soup is the most awful thing ever. The spag bol is ok although. Am going to trial it for 2 weeks to see if it works for me.

Idontneedyourjudgement · 25/10/2018 07:25

Crazytoast

I know!!! I mixed my pasta soup and just the smell made my tummy turn so I put it straight in the bin!

If I'm only eating 3 times a day (and only 200cal a time) I want to enjoy it as much as possible....hence the chocolate

CrazyToast · 25/10/2018 11:02

The coconut shake is really nice! I'm going to make a list of what is good and what is awful so I know what to order next time. I only got 2 weeks at first to see what I thought.

lexie555 · 25/10/2018 22:11

hi all, how ye all doing? day 7 for me tommorow and i just checked and im in ketosisSmile picked up the tesco ultraslim bars today, as i read you can use them instead of the exante 1s so had one and was very nice. it was good to actually eat somethingSmile next week going to order the pizza's and pancakes..anyone tried these? and also the chocolate goey pudding?

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 26/10/2018 15:02

Glad you're getting on well lexie555
The goey chocolate pudding was not good, we've cooked 3 of them, each one differently and it did not come out gooey in any attempt.
But having said that so much is down to personal taste, crazy toast said she liked the coconut shake but I cant get any coconut in that one and was disappointed.
Pancakes (lemon) are lovely.
Has anyone liked the cookies, I found they had a strange texture and almost powdery-ness to them.

lexie555 · 26/10/2018 15:21

MinniesAndMickeys how long have you been doing exante now? and how much have you lost if you don't mind me asking

Peachyk · 26/10/2018 16:52

Well i have done a month, and had a planned weekend off last weekend. I've lost over a stone and have 10lbs left until target. I'm really relieved i only put on 1lb over the weekend..had many drinks, curry and pizzaBlush makes me realise i can do this diet and have a life too though.
Loving the double chocolate bars, porridge and coconut bars. My tastes definitely seem to have changed over this diet though- hated the savoury pots and now i can't get enough!

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 26/10/2018 20:29

lexie555 Dont mind at all. I've done 20 weeks and lost 4st 6.5lb

Spoiltgirl · 26/10/2018 22:24

Hi everyone ,I'm on day 3 and struggling a little ...what's the average w loss for the first week of total meal replacement...need a boost Smile

Idontneedyourjudgement · 26/10/2018 22:52

Minnie wow!!!!
Have you had many days off plan?
Just ending day 5 and after a sneaky peak it's showing a 10.4lb loss so far (think my scales might be wrong)

I have stuck to just 3 bars a day and whilst I have been hungry at times I've noticed how much of an emotional eater I am (or was) and it feels rather empowering to have not caved in!

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 27/10/2018 15:01

Idontneedyourjudgement

Haven't had days off plan. I have altered it slightly to suit me though, I make my own evening meal for 200 calories instead of having a meal replacement product. Won't suit everyone but has certainly worked for me. Halloween Smile

Radiator23 · 28/10/2018 10:25

I am starting exante tomorrow. I've got to lose about 3 stone, and have had recent hip problems so really have no good reason not to. I am starting with just shakes. Does it take long to get into the routine of not eating?

Coolaschmoola · 28/10/2018 12:26

I'm sat eating the apple crumble.... Reminds me of baby food, but it's ok.

Idontneedyourjudgement · 28/10/2018 19:04

First official weigh in tomorrow.....finding today hard as I'm tired (thanks clock change) and I think I'm missing not having a weekend blow out (which would last 6 days hence needing to lose 2.10st!!!)
First attempt of lemon pancakes did not go well....but I'm eating it still and it's amazing!!!
What did I do wrong? I tried to make 3 small ones but think the mixture might have been too runny as they merged into one very thin layer 🤦🏽‍♀️
