Hello Ladies! I know its early but Id like to see the interest for starting a weight loss group beginning of January. I find it so hard to stay on track when the results are very slow, it would be awesome to have someone to run to to say remind me why I shouldn't eat this delicious sausage roll thats already pressed to my lips! Id like to post meals and recipes with some people that are in the same boat as myself! Life is busy and sometimes convenience food is quicker and easier and it makes you feel good until its eaten. So who else out there would like that little bit more motivation! We can do this together! Smile

I was all set to give it everything from tomorrow but today have felt like absolute death - the DC have had chesty coughs and temperatures and now it's moved on to me - OH claims to have it too but has manfully overcome the worst to make his way down the pub Hmm

All I'd like to do tomorrow is hibernate preferably with a box of chocolates but it's unlikely to happen with two lively toddlers demanding entertainment...

I'm with you on the post baby weight loss Donnie. I did manage to lose a couple of stones but now have put them back on, and an extra stone to be friends with them Blush

I’m in. I’m 40 this year and want to be a “normal weight”. I have about 2 stone to lose. Combination of exercise and calorie counting is how I’ve lost 20 pounds in 2017. Need to lose the final 20 pounds before my half marathon in March.

I have been very hungry at times today, but I have stuck to it. I think I've been over eating every day for so long now that it will take me a while to get used to a normal amount of food!

How is everyone else getting on?

Sequins I was hungry a lot when I started watching my calories the first time. What I realised was that a lot of it was in my head! Just hang in there, I found it got so much easier after the first few days.

I have made a good start today:
Breakfast - almond butter on a slice of bread, apple
Lunch - chicken salad
Dinner - leftover takeaway curry with boiled rice.

I've still got enough calories left for a treat when DS is in bed.

I've also prepped breakfast, lunch and snacks for work tomorrow and Wednesday, which I'm hoping will prevent me eating junk. My eating habits are so much worse at work!

How's everyone else doing?

Hey Ladies! Hope those of you who have cracked on today have smashed the first day!! and for those of you who are starting tomorrow like me God be with us!! haha Did the big food shop today and emptied the house of all the rubbish Sad Ive decided to do 100 days of at least trying, I would usually fall off the wagon after a few weeks them binge eat and load because I'm still a lot plump Blush but not this year!!

Is everyone ready? RubySlippers77 Take it easy and start when you're better.

I’m in! I lost 2.5 stone over the summer (for my wedding) only to put 2stone back on in 3months!! It has gone on so quickly that I feel quite revolting!
I also (not so cleverly!) got rid of all my “big” clothes as of course I was never going to be overweight again 😕 Now I am living in a limited wardrobe and trying not to buy new big clothes!
Want to loose the 2.5stone a bit slower than last time as I think that was part of the problem!!
Healthy eating today and will start the exercise tomorrow 😊

Im in! I had 10-15kg to lose but with all that I have eaten over xmas I dread to think how much now!

I've decided to do what I did last May when I first started losing weight. Then for the first two weeks I cut out eating between meals, except for fruit. This time I'll keep an eye on the number of calories I'm consuming as well but I'll concentrate on getting used to not snacking between meals again.

I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow. I use Boots scales as I can trust them to remain consistent and can access them each week. I'll also need to incorporate exercise into my life too.

Starting tomorrow, will update with weigh! Argh! I am feeling crap with this dreaded flu so think exercise may have to take a back burner this week, but I'm on it with the healthy eating!

Good luck to everyone!! I'm still feeling terrible but the DC are with their grandparents tomorrow, which will hopefully give me some much needed recovery/ shopping planning time. I've spent the day either burning up or shivering with cold, perhaps it will have kick started my metabolism?! I can but hope...

Zazzleza I'm the same, no bigger clothes left to wear as of course I was never going to put the baby weight back on Confused and now my trusty size 14 jeggings have started to fray at the top where my thighs are too big!! I have another pair but have to squeeeeeze into those. Trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and buy a size 16 pair for now (I should be a 12!!)

yes please, i started slimming world last year and lost 10pounds in 3 weeks, after weighing myself this morning iv got 5lb to lose to be at my final target of 10.5.

Ruby slippers77- I am the same! Had my daughter in Aug 2016 and I am now only 5lbs off where I started trying to loose the baby weight after having her 😬 Those 5lbs fell off. I don’t have that excuse this time!
It’s hard having kiddies food in the house though.... I’ve got too used to eating leftovers! 🙈 When I was dieting last summer for my wedding, I would put it in my mouth absent mindedly, realise what I’d done and throw it away before swallowing it. Since getting married I’ve munched away without a care and it really shows!!
Off to weight watchers this morning. I know it will be a sad weigh in 😕...

I bet it was busy at WW today Zazzleza! How did you get on?

I first did WW in 2000 Shock lost 2 stone for my wedding, took me best part of a year but I got there. It did help that I had an event to aim for, and of course no DC so all the time I needed/ wanted to go to the gym!

Flu bug is still hanging on here. My only hope is that all this fever is burning off some calories too...

Started today! Scrambled eggs for breakfast boring but panicked haha I'm actually excited for some veg after living on celebrations and buffet sandwiches!! I mentioned a WhatsApp group last week for a handful of us that would find it useful, anyone still interested?

OMG I weighed myself and I am the heaviest I have ever been, including pregnancy Shock. 13st 1lb and I'm only 5ft1. I have gained 10lbs since October, which was when I had last been on MFP. and that last weigh in was after I'd gained back the 5lb I'd lost. To get to the top end of a healthy BMI I need to lose 3st 4lbs.

I'd be interested in the WhatsApp group. I'm a rubbish cook so I wouldn't really have any exciting recipes to share though!

I'm just going to go to Boots and weigh myself. A lack of sleep the night before meant I slept until 10 this morning so I'm running behind. Dread to think what I've put on over the last two weeks.

I got there pretty early and it wasn’t too bad.
It was a bit sad handing over my card. I have put on exactly 2st since September. She gave me a new card for a fresh start!
Eggs and turkey bacon for my brekkie. About to have a chicken salad and venison bolognese with courgetti spaghetti. I’m giving DH the same but with that Zero spaghetti noodle stuff. I don’t mind the fake rice one so will see how he gets on. He’s doing it with me and hasn’t text yet to say he’s hungry which is a good sign!

Still hungry, suspect it will take a few weeks before I get used to eating less. I'm back in the mindset I was when I lost weight a few years ago now of actually appreciating feeling hungry sometimes. I probably haven't really let myself be hungry for the past few months, I was eating far too much, too often.

I am really bad an weigh myself every day when I'm trying to lose weight - 4lb down already!
