Hurray caggie - good news on the WI, and being back in zone. I'm back to 11 4.5 just need a good weekend to get back to 11 2.5. Knew it was too good to be true last week! No exercise today - if I wasn't driving (4+ hours) I was sat down. Go us! And nice to have the company. Still admired that you were above me to start, and still managed to get way ahead. I have a sneaky feeling you are a young thing, and not a middle-aged mama like me Wink

Early night tonight. Have just poured a sneaky gin to add to the taste of my slimline tonic. But on the plus it isn't wine. I keep topping up my glass with tonic to make it last longer nothing to do with the fact I poured a large double to start

You'll get there Bath! Very close to that 11 mark!! I find it excting when im nearing the end of a stone bracket. You'll end up joining me in to 10s soon.
You are correct too, im early twentiesWink if i atleast try and change my habits now i wont need to struggle later on in life. Especially when heart problems run in the family, best try and be healthy now. But, i dont mind being a snuggly cuddly old lady in later life. If i cant enjoy too much cake now, i can when im a grannyGrin
Nothing major to report either, stuck to it today ans left room for a small treat! Have a good weekend allWine

Not my best day today, ate a few biscuits while my healthy tea of chicken nuggets was in the oven. Around 1387 calories in coming in at, but ive not eaten healthy. Will be making an effort to eat a few veggies tomorrowGrin

But 1387 doesn't sound too bad considering? 200 calories in biscuits is much more run than 200 calories in carrots!

Half term here which means my routine is down the pan, exercise opportunities limited, and day revolves around food - conveyor belt of lunches and dinners, and snacks for the DC. Plus anxiety has cranked-up, so desperately trying hard not to compensate by comfort eating. Willpower is waning ... I must keep strong

Hi both - well done on being back in the zone caggie despite the biscuit munching, although super impressed you still came in at a reasonable amount regardless. That’s what logging should be all about right, saying sod it I want nuggets and biscuits one night but keeping within the calorie amount still.

Sorry to hear about anxiety bath, is it linked to half term? You can do it, comfort eating is so hard to have willpower over, but you can!

I’ve been on and off logging and not logging, but don’t have any more work lined up and I always eat more when I’m home so am trying to get back into the zone too. Today I was going to attempt a fast day (500) calories but the kids leftover pasta was too much temptation...made a batch of soup for the rest of the week though and I’m at uni weds and thurs eve so I don’t have dinner with the family, will aim for them being low calorie days to try to kick start me back into gear

Sadly not delivered. But half term doesn't help! The won't-power won, and I dived head-first into the chocolate biscuits last night. Grrrr. Haven't had a binge like that for a while.

But what's done is done, and surprisingly feeling a bit brighter today (despite sugar overload in my system) as actually slept last night. So back on it. Chicken salad for my lunch planned, and salmon & veggies for dinner. Kids will be having chicken kiev & roast potatoes with their veggies! DH away working, so I'm not having to open another packet of kiev for him, as otherwise I'd have to have the other.

Well ive had a takeaway tonight and had a few chocolates so not feeling great. I always think its a good idea to treat myself but after i eat it, it makes me feel crappy. I dont think i enjoy them anymore but cant not order one! Back to it tomorrow, really need to push through!
Hope you feel better soon Bath, atleast you’ve moved on from the binge. I sometimes think the longer you try and hold in a binge the bigger it would be? For me anyway!

Ive not eaten an awful lot today, even though ive not been sick, i feel very delicate. Managed a bacon sandwhich for tea but just dont feel like eatingSad I dont know if its period related, i am due on in a few days. Could just be random though. Hopefully a decent night sleep will help.

New to this thread! good day today, did overdo it on the salad.
I readjusted my calorie goal up to 1330 (from 1200) as I thought it was more realistic for me and my habits.
My plan from now on is to have one of the m+s salads for dinner each weekday, partly because I just like them and due to ease with counting, uni and placement.
My target is 8st10-12, and 1.5lbs a week. Weighing in at Boots fortnightly.
WI1 - 11st 8
WI 2 this sunday
Upping my exercise and loving it

Feel much better this morning, had some cheese on toast for breakfast and a big glass of water too. Feeling ready to take on the day!

Welcome Caremummy, i like your plan of the same dinner everyday, i wish i could try and stick to that but id get bored V quickly! I am big fan of the m&s food on the go range though, think ill pop in this morning and grab something🐷 (also love the pudding bits, but musnt be a piggy) How are you finding weighing fortnightly?

Welcome caremummy I’m a Brit living in the US and I miss the M&S food hall with a passion!

Argh went overboard again yesterday, after a very healthy start and main portion of the day, came back from uni at 11pm and gorged.

So - going to do a fast day today because my body needs a break (have been so gassy this week and the binging is likely to blame!), I logged everything in yesterday what I plan to eat today so with an iron will I intend to stick to it!

My scales went up massively this weekend. Have made a promise to myself to seriously buckle up and down this week. Fly to NYC in 10days and there are some party dresses I really want to fit into!

Not great - binge mentalness but then my period came on yesterday and I managed a semi fast day. Going to go for a low cal day again today in hope of kickstarting both bringing and PMT to the curb!

My period was last week, i ended up with icecream and pizza binge! So i know how you feel!! Despite me eating crap most of the week ive lost the grand total of... half a pound🎉 So im sat at 10st 7.5lbs. Half a pound away from an over all 2st loss. Next week that .5lb will be gone! (i hope)

Hello - yes I'm still here! Funnily enough I haven't been back to the thread since my last post as I didn't want to let the side down Wink. But need to get back in focus. I haven't dare get on the scales this week, plus having to tuck my wobbly belly back into my jeans Blush.

caggie - you are SO close to that 2stone. That is amazing. Fingers crossed it will happen tomorrow. Have you been out clothes shopping lately? That big loss you will need a whole new wardrobe.

And NYC sounds like an amazing trip kiki wow! Am sure all the walking and sightseeing shopping will offset indulgence calories.
