OP posts:
caggie09 · 04/10/2017 08:42

Very quiet on this thread! Hope everyones doing well!

Im still behaving myself, got meals planned out for the next few days. So hoping to weigh less at the end of the week!!

See you soon Kiki and relax and enjoy yourself! :)

caggie09 · 06/10/2017 08:53

Ive weighed in this morning and hitting 10st 8 mark! Very happy with that. Possibly because ive eaten crap and once im back tracking its a big drop once weighing in. Must keep it up!

Bathsheba3 · 06/10/2017 12:40

Well done caggie. Too right you are happy with that! No success stories from me. I am still going, but demoralised to not have the weight drop off despite being good (exercising, no wine, no sugar, limited carbs). Obviously my good still isn't good enough !! Must try harder.

Bathsheba3 · 10/10/2017 12:28

Weight still fluctuating, especially after weekends, but pleased to report new long-time low of 11 4.5. Need to keep strong, and not celebrate with food.

Rather depressing how little I need to eat, no treats or wine, to loose / maintain.

All v quiet here. Big wave to everyone incase you are lurking Wink

Bathsheba3 · 10/10/2017 12:31

Just looked back over thread. I lost the grand total of 1lb in 3-4 weeks. And I thought I was doing well Confused. Disheartening. And I have a big night out planned this weekend, which means I will put on the 1lb, and another for luck, and it will take another 2 weeks to loose those 2 lbs back, and another 2 weeks for another 1lb. Gaaaahhhhhhhhhh

caggie09 · 10/10/2017 12:48

Oopps, got a notifaction for this thread when i was face down in a bag of malteasersBlush been eating crap for two days. It seems to get harder i think, im feeling your frustration Bath It doesnt seem so easy anymlre!!

DeliveredByKiki · 11/10/2017 06:28

Well I'll join you both - I've put on 5.5lbs while my parents visited! So 3.5 to lose again to hit target!

Bathsheba3 · 11/10/2017 10:26

Somehow dropped another bit overnight, so down to 11 3.75. Amazed. The 10s are so close. But I know how fluctuations can just happen.

Hope the malteasers are all eaten now caggie, & good to have you back on board kiki. Company and support much needed.

DeliveredByKiki · 11/10/2017 17:29

Well this just goes to show how bollocks it is weighing every day - apparently I'm 3lbs less than yesterday. Actually starting to wonder if my scales are wrong - do you all weigh at home?

Also realizing I actually need to exercise because my boobs are starting to deflate - there's def a tipping point when weight comes off areas I don't want it to but stubbornly stays on places I could afford to slim down in!

caggie09 · 11/10/2017 19:08

I weigh everyday too, and im upto 10st 10 today. I like to see my fluctuations, but it can be dishearting to see. Come one girls!! We will be skinny minnies for Chrimbo!!

Bathsheba3 · 11/10/2017 21:53

Up caggie? but maltesers are all air, surely?!
And not quite sure why you sound so annoyed kiki - i'll take your 3lb loss any day! Yes, I weigh every day, as I don't trust myself not to. My scales are v old, and probably v v wrong, but they seem to go up when I eat a lot, and down when I don't. Plus my nerves couldn't hack buying new scales & finding out I'm actually a whole half-stone heavier than I think I am. So sticking with for the time being.

Funnily enough caggie I already wondered how I get through Xmas already as I spotted xmas selection boxes in the supermarket next to the halloween treats. Unbelievable. My motto is don't start at all. I can have them in the house, but if I have just the one, then I ignite the binge and don't stop. Same with wine. And cheese, And biscuits. And cake, and anything nice and calorific. Hence I am miserable as anything at the moment! Jeans are feeling looser though, so I',m not really moaning Wink

DeliveredByKiki · 11/10/2017 22:27

Yeah sorry I didn't mean it to sound like a stealth boast! It's just not knowing what to trust because that's obviously not 3lbs of fat I've lost in 24hours is it?! I suppose it's annoying because it can feel so good to see a big loss and then so awful to go for weeks with no shift! Maybe I just prefer a properly scientific response to attempting to lose weight ;)

Bathsheba3 · 12/10/2017 18:02

I'd rather have a slow and consistent loss than plateau and whoosh any time too kiki. Hope it stayed off today. I was down another 1lb this morning to 11 2.75. And that isn't a stealth boast either - it rather surprised me.

I've been on this thread long enough to know if I'm in the zone and actually consistently loosing I have to go with it. It's a very rare occurrence to be in the zone. Lets hope it lasts to see me into the 10s with a bit to spare.

caggie09 · 12/10/2017 18:23

Im sneaking in while eating a chineseBlush, i need to get back in the zone. At this rate this time next year ill be here trying to get below 10st 7.
Ive not been drinking enough water either, so tomorrow ill get min of 2 litres down me. Im in need of some new winter jumpers and all i can find online are Cropped jumpers. First of all, i want to be warm not walk about with my gut out. And secondly, noone wants to see me walking around in a crop topGrin

DeliveredByKiki · 13/10/2017 02:22

CROPPED? Ugh who was the genius who decided that would be this winters trend?!

Well done on the 1lb down bath totally with you on riding the wave of motivation while it lasts. Decided to just not weigh in until Sunday, I'm then away for a week so will weigh in again the following Sunday

caggie09 · 15/10/2017 15:34

Hows everything going guys? On track for a good day today, there is cake in the kitchen but restraining myself until after tea. Will add it to my calories and should still be under. Not weighed in, shall do tomorrow and see where i am. I do have a cold though, so cant taste much! Making a hot curry for tea to atleast have one thing i can taste🤧

DeliveredByKiki · 16/10/2017 06:51

Good will power there caggie

I had a "fuck it" day yesterday, didn't log it in and it was chock full of carbs, hope I at least remained within TDEE but c'est le vie

On an overnight flight and I'm currently sitting at 1100kcals, will do my best to avoid the snacks and food and just go to sleep!

Bathsheba3 · 17/10/2017 14:21

I fell off the wagon & into wine & chocolate all weekend Blush. Trying v hard to find the zone again. Failed yesterday.. Trying harder today. Need to just bite the bullet and crack on.

Hope you are doing OK with the travel & jet lag Kiki. Has the cold gone Caggie? Hope it isn't make you eat everything in sight

caggie09 · 17/10/2017 14:30

Ill join you two, ive also fallen of the wagon! Yes Bath, even though i can hardly taste anything i still want everything in sight! I cant seem to stay on track for one whole week. Todays a new day though, and i will behave!!

caggie09 · 17/10/2017 18:13

Bit pissed off with myself tonight. Seen my reflection in a shop today and picked myself to pieces in my mind. All i could think was how fat i looked!! But this morning i thought i looked fineSad Feel like a big lump now. Time i took this seriously again. I dont like feeling like this. Sorry for the downerSad

Bathsheba3 · 18/10/2017 09:41

You are not a lump. You have done brilliantly to loose so much weight. Can't keep up the same momentum the whole time. Don't beat yourself up - will make you reach for the chocolate if you're anything like me. Positive thinking caggie. If you're not in the zone, don't take it too bad either. Just don't binge & undo all your hard work.

Better day for me yesterday. No sugar, and no gin. Quite an achievement. So feeling more positive. Tried a top on in a shop - they only had size 10 so gave it a go to see would I need a 12 or 14. It fitted vanity sizing for sure. It was definitely a slim mirror in there too.

caggie09 · 18/10/2017 20:34

Thank you Bath, i feel better today! Had a good day myself finished the day on 1369 cals. Weighed myself and im at 10st 9. So if i stay on track i will get to under 10st 7 by chrimboWink

Ohh and a size 10 top! Bet you looked great too!

Bathsheba3 · 19/10/2017 18:41

Thanks - it was a very loose top, so not a proper 10 Wink. Wore it for work meeting today. Had superfood salad, v nice, but no protein & starving now. Salmon, veg & a couple of potato wedges planned for dinner.

Having a good day food-wise (so far) but still unable to brave the scales after last weekend. Perhaps by wednesday next week ...? That's hoping the gin & cake don't beckon me too hard over the weekend.

caggie09 · 19/10/2017 19:30

Well its a start, you maybe even sneak into a size 8 soon! The last time i was wearing a size 8 i was at schoolBlush I dont think ill ever see an 8 again!
Ive had a goodish day, 3 filling meals but had alot of biscuits. 28 calories over today. It was them party rings, i had a few and it lead to 6 rich teas. Its all logged though, makes me feel less guilty.
Id brave the scales, i bet its not as bad as you think! Grin

caggie09 · 20/10/2017 17:05

Weighed in, back down to 10st 8! No night off tonight, should be under calories today and logged everything! I will be 10st 7 next week, back im the zoneSmile
