All going to plan today I'll finish-up on 1350 which is v good for me. 2 wet dog walks and 1 very wet PT session clocked-up too. Determined to be in the zone for June.

Not2bObvious · 06/06/2017 19:32

You're in the zone bath, great to hear you sound so positive. Yes June is going to be our month, on it like a car bonnet!
Did a 40 minute jog/walk to the gym, 45 minute circuit and then a 10 minute walk home. That will have to do! My own cals are 1400 and just under 3 litres of water in. A run in the morning weather permitting. Fingers crossed I'll get a pound off by Friday to keep on track

Slightly over today but I have a day off tomorrow without the DCs and am going for a bike ride I think!

Not2bObvious · 06/06/2017 22:23

A day off without children is like a long weekend before having kids😉 Hope you really enjoy it dr, I was just saying to dh we have a child free day coming up in August and we must plan our day out!

11 under for me today.

Bathsheba3 · 07/06/2017 07:51

Scales down to 11 7.75. Exactly where I was 6 months ago! Now just need to keep going. My tipple last night was fizzy water, followed by a milky decaf coffee. Finished on about 1400. Skinny soup for lunch again today. A welcome change from salads.

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2017 10:34

Very good bath, maybe look at this as your new start weight. I found looking back at what I had been upset me too much, so I took my new start weight just after my Easter holiday at 12.0.8, last Friday I weighed 11.8 so that's around 7lb in 7 weeks. I'm 11.8.2 this morning so that's encouraging, I was 11.9.6 last Wednesday.
55 minute jog/walk done this morning. Only working this morning so busy busy, have a great day all

Well done @Bathsheba3 and @Not2bObvious 💪🏻 how long have you been doing it for?

I have now done 9.4 lbs! I was happy to see that! (I've gone from 13.2 to 3.8 - that's the pounds part of my weight, btw Grin) I might as well just say my weight Blush I started at 19:13.2 and I'm now 19:3.8, so I'm close to being in the 18s. I know I'm much bigger than you lot Blush

drspouse · 07/06/2017 12:04

Bike ride done, bit slow apart from a sprint at the end where I realised there wasn't another train for an hour! Was hoping for a coffee but no time.

Bathsheba3 · 07/06/2017 12:09

And hurray for you too Not - 7lbs in 7 weeks is amazing. Well done you. I looked back at beginning of thread to see where I was at. Saw you at 11 5 in Feb & thought I would LOVE to be that. Need to get past my 11 7 plateau. For now I'll take Monday's 11 8 as my starting, with a 9lb loss target !!

Thank you Dream. Doing it for too long Wink. No, seriously I'd say coming up to 2 years. I was into the 13s, then peaked at 12 7 again, low of 11 7 December, up into 12s again, & now heading for the 10s. Am mid 40s. Think I would have learned by now Wink

You sound very determined Dream. Keep strong - you are doing brilliantly. I hope your mum is supporting you (presume you live at home) & that food choices are OK, that you are eating proper food, and plenty of it. Nutrition is v important. Veg are your best friend for variety, colour, & low calorie bulking-out. No judgement here on your weight, just focus on a loss, whatever our individual goal is. But now you are "public" even more reason to head to the 18's, and then 17's. Slow and steady to maintain, and change eating-habits for good.

Bathsheba3 · 07/06/2017 12:10

wow - sounds like serious biking Dr. Well done you. Hope you can walk and sit tomorrow Wink

drspouse · 07/06/2017 16:51

Thanks! Currently on hold to a boring government office and hoping they finish soon so I can go and do the nursery run. So I am sitting down!

Bathsheba3 · 08/06/2017 09:16

PT session done. Killer. But good at the same time. Scales down to 11 7 as well. Dare I say I may have my mojo back? Smile

DreamBallet · 08/06/2017 12:16

Was under by 190 yesterday.

Now lost 9.8 lbs, so close to double digits!

Well done to everyone else Smile

drspouse · 08/06/2017 13:00

Great progress though Dream. Inspiring to read your story.
I started out at just 14 stone, about 13 years ago - both the "pushing 100 kilos" and the high blood sugar gave me motivation - I used Weight Loss Resources then which is similar but then was paid for. You were given little notebooks (but I already had a smart phone so just used that).
Lost 3 1/2 stone, then crept back up to nearly 12 stone after we had DS (he is adopted but I hurt my back lifting him and found that new mum life involved a lot of cake!).

Lost another stone but have put most of that back on but now am well and truly going for it again!

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2017 13:41

Lots of good news here today! Mojo's abound😉 11.7.8 this morning so officially 7lb down. Shoehorned myself into my size 10 (stretchy!) jeans that wouldn't go past my hips without a tub of butter a few weeks ago. They're a bit snugger than they should be but it's a lift to the spirits to wear them.
You must be starting to notice a difference in your clothes dream? Are you doing any exercise, I don't mean anything mental, a bit of walking would be v beneficial going forward. Not sure if you work or study or what being all lovely & young😊
My kids are back in school - hip hip hooray! Going to the gym later this avo, then home to make the dinner. Couldn't get a run/walk in due to horrible rain this morning but throwing in a bit of matching on the spot from time to time. Good thing I'm on my own in the office this morning

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2017 13:41

Marching, not matching...ffs

OP posts:
DreamBallet · 08/06/2017 14:17

@Not2bObvious - yes, I definitely notice a difference with some of the clothes that were feeling a little tight, which is definitely nice. Well done on your loss! That's great.

I started secondary school at 10 stone, so have been big for years... I left year 11 at just under 16 stone and was 19 stone by the December Blush I literally don't know what happened, I was clearly overeating, but foods that weren't even particularly worth it!

I suppose the biggest shock for me was when I went to Thorpe Park (a theme park I have always gone to) and the man had to push down on the bar, I fitted and went on the ride, but it put me off that the workers hovered around me to do an extra push. I joined slimming world that year with my mum and lost a stone, but she stopped going, so I did. No excuse, I know... I was 16 and could have gone on my own. I put that on and recently just got back from 2 holidays, where the plan seatbelt was tight Sad if I was any bigger, I'd have had to ask for an extension. I was at a wedding for one of the holidays and everyone looked so lovely (my sister included - she's so slim Sad) and all wearing dresses. I had my mum's friends all asking her why I wasn't wearing a dress and it was horrible. I've come back and that's why I started MFP Smile I can't believe that my motivation has stuck! I'm really pleased.

I'm doing my AS year again, but I unfortunately don't think I'm going to have done well (currently going through exams) so will probably be off to college. I also work part-time Smile

DreamBallet · 08/06/2017 14:20

@drspouse that great weight loss was also aimed at you!

I'm not doing any exercise, no Blush I know that's terrible, but will definitely get into it. I did a lovely round walk of the River Thames for my mum's birthday last week and was shocked at how much fitter I was after being in a part-time job for a year (I do shelves stacking, etc.) and did the whole 2 hour walk with no trouble. The last time I went up to London, I had to stop every 10 mins. I know that has nothing to do with weight loss, as I wasn't losing weight then, but just thought it was amazing!

drspouse · 08/06/2017 14:25

It is so nice when you feel fitter isn't it!

Could you get yourself a fitbit or similar - even just a cheap £1 pedometer to put on your waistband - it is really nice to see how many steps you rack up! If you have a smartphone you can track your distance or steps on those too. And having an active job like shelf stacking is a bonus.

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2017 15:23

Fair play to you for facing it now dream, no looking back only forward. May the last holiday be the last time you worry about fitting into a seat. Best of luck with the exams

Bathsheba3 · 08/06/2017 21:48

V tempted to have a wine, but won't. Need to keep you company Not!

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2017 23:14

Only seeing this now bath, I hope you managed to keep away from the 🍷 I had bought a bottle for tomorrow night and had a temptation moment but I urge surfed it (remember urge surfing? I'm sure that was someone here used to say that)
I've prefilled my mfp for tomorrow to include 2 small glasses....and maybe 1 g&t. I'm hoping to see a wee loss in the morning but even as it stands I've lose weight from last week - even if it's only a quarter of a pound😉

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/06/2017 07:44

Happy Friday all. I correctly predicted my weightloss for this week so I'm still 11.7.8 this morning. Noted and put to the back of my mind, considering I had a weekend away it's good going. Completed a treadmill run of 50 mins, wrecked...

OP posts:
Bathsheba3 · 09/06/2017 08:20

Did you predict election results also not? Wink - ooh, but of course you're not all election-fever in the Emerald Isle. I'm exhausted just listening to the news. let alone having done a 50 mins run already.

Down a smidgen more to 11 6.75. And I ate loads yesterday, but all good stuff. So the prospect of body-con dress tomorrow at wedding isn't too traumatic. Note to self to find spanx. With any luck the fact that they are so tight will prevent me eating too much. Will need to curb drinking too much though ...

Go into the weekend strong & determined everyone!
