Morning all. Hope to hear from a few of us today so it's not me blathering on. Very happily I'm back down to 11.10, I was 11.9.8 on Friday. Quite tired this morning so no morning jog but I'll go to the gym later today so that'll get the exercise box ticked.
Put most of my food into mfp, now the challenge is to eat what I said I would😉 Although that's not normally a big challenge during the week.

Morning! I went out and bought a pair of scales yesterday and I'm 11st 3lbs. I'm actually pretty happy with that as a starting point. My goal is 10st 7lbs

That's a good idea to put down all your food in the morning. I'm going to start doing that. Takes all the thinking out of the equation for the rest of the day.

We are supposed to be having meatball subs tonight. I've done the math and I can have 1 meatball Grin. I'm going to have to figure out something low calorie to have with it.

I've been doing some HIIT workouts on youtube. So I'll do another one of those this morning and then a trip to the park with the DC.

Wow, so you've lost 2lb already dear😉 Crikey how big is the meatball? Today's menu for around 1300 as I haven't entered every in is:
B: 30g porridge made with skimmed milk & water, half banana. Slice of wholemeal toast with 5gr butter
L: 2 eggs scrambled, 75g beans, 2 x toast with 10g light butter (I switch between real and light butter)
Snack before gym: protein bar from Aldi
D:Wrap(1) with fajita chicken with some taco sauce, I set it up like a pizza, eat with a knife & fork
I'll definitely eat around 1500-1600 today but what I'll have for the remaining 200-300 isn't decided.

I've been awol for obvious reasons Blush. Struggling on with life stuff, which obviously made me reach for the booze & sugar. Not helped with birthday celebrations in our household as well jonty, so too much tempting food cake around. Body feels bloated and toxic.

New start today with PT session. OMG. was such a sweaty mess I couldn't even look at the bloke in the eye Wink. Was desperate to tell him to F-off at one point with some of the stuff he was getting me to do, but I snorted instead, and got on with it. Inflicting more on myself on Thurs.

Bikini I bought and didn't try on got taken back & swapped for a tummy-control one-piece. What on earth was I thinking?

Sorry to hear your DH poorly again jonty. No rest ever huh?

Your meal plan for today sounds delicious. For breakfast I had some fruit and fibre with semi skimmed milk. Lunch is with my dad but I'll have him make me something healthy. Pretty big and stuffed with mozzarella Grinthe bun it's in is almost 200 calories which doesn't help.

Morning folks. Back to Fridays weight of 11.9.8 so pretty much following a similar pattern most weeks. Measured my body fat this morning and feeling quite dejected, I thought it was around 40%, and yes it is. In the back of my mind I'd had hoped for 35%, but it's just a starting point (...on my never ending weight loss saga) Ended up munching my way through way too many crisps last night but what's done is done, I'm going to do a run later so I'll claw back some ground.
Food plan today is:
B:porridge & half banana (same most days), midmorning slice of toast with spoon of beans
L:bean burger on a wrap with taco sauce
D:chicken burger/no bun, sweet potato fries
S:orange, pear
Around 1300 cals in that so some wriggle room

Not2B how do you measure your body fat percentage? Bean burger sounds delicious.

I ended yesterday on 1,225. I went over for a scraping of butter and it was worth it. Plan for today is breakfast - 50g of fruit and fibre with milk.
lunch - poached egg on toast or scrambled egg whites if I'm feeling really good.
dinner - chicken burger with no bun and broccoli. I'm also going to have a coffee and one biscuit at toddler group. My total should be 928 so it leaves plenty of wiggle room for snacks. DP had dominoes last night because the meatballs didn't work out. I resisted and had poached egg on toast which is a miracle really.

I've no idea what my % body fat is. I would hope 35% (left, middle row) but I reckon I'd be 40% (top right). I would love to be middle middle, or middle right. I would be MORE than happy then.

Forgot to count calories yesterday. And yet to brave the scales for this week. About to have prawn salad for lunch.

Great resisting on the pizza dear. Sorry to hear about crisps not. I munched my way through load of cream crackers, if that is any conciliation?

Actually top right body could be mine. It's the same one I see in the mirror every morning. Somehow looks worse in a photo than reflection. I need to crack the w'end munchies if I'm ever going to get down to the next level. How can we do it Not?

I have a plan. How about every w'end you & I book ourselves into a lovely health-farm, with lots of juices laid on, healthy food. Away from all temptation. Plenty of classes to join, a gym too for extra calorie burn, yoga to stretch and a lovely whirlpool & sauna for end-of-day. That lovely spa smell all around. Fluffy bathrobes & slippers, clean bed linen, and heavenly sleep. Bliss. Who's in? Wink

I feel like I'm probably the 35% but with a fair bit more cellulite. I'd love to be the 25% but that would probably mean a whole lot of crunches.

Your weekend plan sounds like the best thing ever. I fear my DP would have other ideas though.

I do like the idea of weekend health farm bath, I'll start packing now😉 Wrt to the weekends we gotta keep working on it - and we have to stop giving ourselves permission to cock up. Yes it's Friday or Saturday or whatever, what amazing thing did we do that we think our body will ignore the extra few thousand calories we're inhaling, does our body care we're bored/upset/angry - eh no. When has a bar of chocolate, bag of crisps or bottle of wine cured anything? As God is my witness I will shun thee oh junk food & drink!!! Too much maybe?😆
I came to an interesting conclusion this morning. Fair warning now, bit of tmi. The last week-10 days I've been following the Richie howie plan on fb, so I've been getting my exercise done, my 3 litres of water drank, my carbs in, proper amount of fibre and calories around 1550. Most mornings I go to the loo properly iykwim. Weekends I get bunged up, this morning I'm bunged up
after choc & crisps last night, not enough water, not enough walking. In order for my body to function and expel waste comfortably I need my water/walks/fibre.

So today I've drank my glass of water every hour, I've done a 30 minute run - plan to get another walk in to hit my 10,000. Ate all the right foods to get my carbs/protein/fat in. I have to get the body fat down so I have to lose it, you cannot tone fat, you have to lose it.
And that's enough blah blah from me

I've found something for my late night sweet cravings. Cadbury hilights hot chocolate. 38 calories (probably full of junk but meh). It will definitely help me stay on track though. I'm ending today on 1,254.

Another day eh? Coming down with a cold but scales is behaving, down to 11.9.4, my water/fibre/exercise did the trick😉 I did a walk this morning, about all I could manage. But at least I've got most of my steps in.
You out there jonty? dawg haven't heard from you in ages! You must be home from the states by now?

Morning all! Today isn't going to be very productive on the exercise front. I'm due AF any day now and it's making me a ball of rage and overwhelmed with little things. I think I'll stay home today. Trying to get the DC in the pushchair and out the house is enough to turn anyone in to a nervous wreck.

I should hopefully keep it under 1200 calories again today. I weighed in this morning at 10st 13.5 lbs so that has given me a boost.

OMG dear - so that is 3.5lbs lost. Sorry to hear you have the range. TBH sometimes the battle is worth it to get everyone outside & into the fresh air, change of scene, bump into a friend & have a natter off load.

Good guns too Not. Funnily enough just eating all bran. Am feeling so bloated today, and scales up to 11 10 again. Had a very late pasta dinner, and couldn't bear to chuck left-overs so polished them off too. So all deserved.

But the good news is I did another PT session. Still as sweaty. Really tough. What I need to do now is not over-compensate for the exercise food wise. I need to start logging-into mfp religiously. Feeling a bit despondent about it all. Need to think positive stuff!!!

Bath I'm pretty pleased with it but I know the first week is usually the easiest loss. A friend came round so that made my morning a lot nicer. I also ate a left over slice of pizza from the kids lunch because I couldn't bear to bin it.

And the pizza turned in to two bowls of stew that was in the slow cooker for dinner. I'm now at 1,457 calories. So if I go to bed on that it's not so bad. Onwards and upwards for tomorrow.

How did you manage after the stew dear? It was v early to go to bed😉 Tried posting a couple of times yesterday but something was wrong with the mobile site. Hope you're feelings a bit brighter today bath, wouldn't do to set yourself in f'it humour just before the weekend. Scales is showing a minor flux up to 11.9.6 from
11.9.4 which is highly irritating but it's only numbers, if I keep my nose out of the fridge over the weekend I'll see a better number next Friday. I've lost 3.2 since the 19th of April, so roughly .8 of a pound a week. That would probably be 1.8 if it wasn't for my rubbish weekends. They're better than they were no doubt which is why I'm loosing slowly what I gained slowly.
Anyway, I'm going to prefill my mfp and then go start the day. Hope everyone's in good form and looking forward to the weekend

Not2B I had two crusty rolls covered in butter Blush ended the day on 1,956 calories. I have a terrible habit of letting a misstep turn into a complete fall of the wagon.

What made you decide to weigh everyday? I'm supposed to be doing it weekly but it's oh so tempting to step on everyday.

The idea with weighing daily is to get used to fluctuations- over time the trend should be downward. 1900 cals is probably a break even point for you, don't worry about it. 1200 is too low to stick to consistently in my experience.

Not2B I think that's probably right, just a day wasted but probably won't lead to a gain. I should probably up it a bit. Maybe 1,400?
