Oh GOD BOOP I've just got back from the swimming pool with my fingers, nose and ears frozen off, you have NO idea how jealous I am Grin

Are you relaxing on a lounger, cocktail in hand?

Chardonnay73 · 26/01/2017 18:53

I'll bet my mortgage she is, if I know my Boop 😂
Either that or a beer! Having been to Morocco I was concerned it would be dry - was a big shock when I went there with a friend! Thank god we had bought a bottle of vodka and Baileys in duty free which we swigged in the room Blush
Boop has assured me her hotel is in the new town so the drinks will be flowing.
Ahhh, sunshine and alcohol- that's all you need on a holiday isn't it?

SmellyFartado · 26/01/2017 19:53

Plateaued a bit this week so bought a digi kitchen scales. Fecking old scales were totally way out so I think I've been unwittingly doubling up on my morning cereal. Back to it now.

Good luck on the Linda's all.

BitOutOfPractice · 26/01/2017 20:03

Oh yes. This hotel has booze. Asked for a white wine with lunch. They brought s bottle. My kind of place. We've had to have a lie down after lunch. Just going back in for dinner now. It's a hard life!!

Hi all

Just a quick hello as off to work shortly. Have a lovely holiday BOOP, well done to everyone on losses. I've just weighed myself and am finally 600gms down! YAY. 2 more kg to go and I'll be in a new kg bracket WHOOP WHOOP.

Did my 16km walk yesterday - it was AMAZING along the coastal path, incredible views and lots of stairs as v deep ravines - so 16km and 900 stairs. Bloody knackering but so lovely.

Went to an Australia Day BBQ after the walk and stayed alcohol free much to the disgust of the Aussies there, it is unAustralian to not drink but fuckit, I'm glad I didn't.

Right, gotta go, that soup sounds great btw.

Baby has a sickness bug and I am shattered from cleaning up. But as he has been attached to me I haven't eaten much so I'm hoping for a loss. I'm also hoping I can make my gym class tomorrow. I've had to cancel two already.

lastqueenofscotland · 26/01/2017 21:39

I nailed my golden day today!

I've meal planned for the rest of the week
Tomorrow: veggie curry
Saturday: mezze
Sunday: pasta with sundried tomato and olive
Monday: thee bean enchiladas
Tuesday: probably just a sandwich
Wednesday: green veg soup
Thursday: pea and pearl barely risotto

ponygirlcurtis · 26/01/2017 22:17

That's rubbish Mummy - hope the baby feels better soon.

Mummysh0rtlegs · 26/01/2017 22:37

toddler has started now. FML

Pinkvici22 · 27/01/2017 07:22

No loss for me this week. Done 8lbs this month, but really would love to get to 9! This week has been so hard...

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 27/01/2017 07:24

Yikes, hope they both feel better soon ShortLegs!

Boop hope you have a fabulous holiday! I am very jealous.

I tried overnight oats for breakfast this morning and I quite liked them! Not sure cold porridgey stuff is the ideal breakfast for a frosty January morning, but I will definitely make them again.

lastqueenofscotland · 27/01/2017 07:30

Golden day worked!

Back to being 7lbs down!

Boop I hope you're having a lovely holiday.

KikisDeliveryService · 27/01/2017 07:46

Finally - a tiny whoosh sees me just back in 'normal' bmi (I know, it's not a perfect system but it helps me focus). 6lbs over all since 1st Jan.

KikisDeliveryService · 27/01/2017 07:47

Ack short, I feel your pain. All that constant cleaner by and laundry after no sleep is a killer. Hope they all clear up soon and you don't catch it.

HairsprayBabe · 27/01/2017 07:57

Morning all!

11.12 again this morning, v happy with that as I was concerned that yesterday was a fluke!

I am away over the weekend but I am hoping if I keep to lowish carb options and vodka soda water I shouldn't do too much damage. Really I am hoping for another loss, but we will have to wait and see!

TVHubbyClaire · 27/01/2017 08:30

keepon - I am in a very similar position, I feel your struggle

I have my first 2017 booze day tomorrow (will be getting onto gin at some point but its a beer and wine start...) and holding on to my 2lb loss will be all I can hope for in January

Hoping to have weight starting with a 12 by early / mid February and then address the further stone

BOOP have a fab time!

ArseyTussle · 27/01/2017 08:58

Morning all. What do you mean when you talk about recalibrating your scales? I just move mine from one place to another, keeping them as level as possible. Should I be doing something else?

HairsprayBabe · 27/01/2017 09:31

I weigh in the bathroom on the same tile every day, then the scales go down the side of the sink, I never weigh on carpet!

HairsprayBabe · 27/01/2017 09:32

oh! also I have digi scales, don't know what diff that makes in terms of calibration!

Mummysh0rtlegs · 27/01/2017 09:34

HAS to be the same tile here too.

I'm being good but the scales are not shifting. I have to remember that I have to get back into my good habits and it takes time but it'll go down again.

Currently 9st12 and I want to get to 8st ideally.

I've just signed up for a ten mile walk in July so I'm hoping by then I'll be at my slimmest.

ArseyTussle · 27/01/2017 09:40

Oh good, that's what I'm doing, lifting the scales out of the bedroom and putting them on EXACTLY the same marks on the floor. I thought from earlier in the thread people meant that every time the scales were picked up you had to do something to them. Blush

Does anyone else find having breakfast makes them hungrier?

My stomach is imitating the mating call of a whale today in a really quiet office Blush

Sorry keep I missed your post

I've been MFP-Ing religiously, generally not eating back my calories from exercise and doing a fucktonne of running
