Ah sorry Not I didn't spot that it was week 2 already - you are going to be a stunner in the jumpsuit! Please keep us in the loop on all the prep - no Xmas parties in the Dawhead household so I need to live vicariously through you all getting dolled up for party season.

Don't apologise - you are never whining - honestly you're a joy to have on here and I love your posts and updates. You're just having an off day - they come to us all in cycles - but the fact you're doing the gym and so optimistic is bloody brilliant. Keep remembering how proud you can be of all you're achieving.

Bath so sorry to you and Must about the TOTM troubles Flowers. Who'd be a woman. Well done on the abstinence in Costco - my latest motto is that if it's not in the house I can't eat it.

Goat you are in good company here with a bad weekend and it's more than allowed - you have to enjoy yourself sometimes and you're back on track already.

Sugar sorry for all the troubles but glad everyone is on the mend. 2lbs is not bad at all and the fact you're back here is brilliant - you won't find those 2lbs coming off once things ease off for you.

Cora great that you're doing well - would a coffee soon help with the evening hunger? I find the evenings very hard if I eat early.

So yesterday got even worse - finished the doughnut and had 9 - YES NINE Hmm - TUC crackers. In my defence I was watching The Revenant at the time - I know this will just be me but that's 2 1/2 hours of my life I'll never get back (not.a.movie.buff.obvs) meaning I finished on 2240 Blush.

Hoping to finish today on 1320 which is still quite bad. I've really lost my mojo - I think it's cos I'm (stupidly) getting into a Christmas mindset already - of eat eat eat Confused.

I'm glad your friend is on the mend Sugar, what a worrying time. 2lbs is nothing, just fluctuation 'tis all.

I like to eat as late as possible too Cora, I would snaffle if I ate early! Can you have a nice long bath after DC in bed?

The jumpsuit sounds amazing Not. Plus the most important thing is that you feel good in it, it makes you feel confident and gorgeous and this will radiate from you!

Diet fatigue is understandable. I wouldn't cope without the exercise that I do to be fair.

Daw I have a Garmin 235, which is a quite expensive bit of technical kit for running, swimming, cycling etc. Tracks your heart rate, exercise etc. A few steps on from a Fitbit but an excellent piece of kit if you train seriously. And way more accurate, which you would expect for the price tag.

Don't worry about the overload, I think we all need to do it at times. 1320 is brilliant. Like I say, I couldn't do this without the exercise so well done you.

I've not had a very hungry day today and a bit achy from my race so going to have a bath and a soak after tea.

Brekkie
Bagel and half an avocado.
Lunch.
M&S butternut squash wrap.
Dinner.
Gammon, homemade potato wedges, broccoli and peas.

Exercise. 4 mile dog walk very briskly.

Tomorrow is my day off so I am doing a class in the morning, then quite a few chores, 3 miles dog walk then meeting a friend for an 11 miles run, so lots of calories to burn. Smile

Ahhhh. 140 calories for 3 quality street. Who knew. Finished at 1340. I will eat no more tonight.

Thanks everyone for lovely words & encouragement. I did go so that's one more session completed. It was pretty tough and my knees are aching, but hey ho it's over now. Around 1120 and now in bed as I'm incompatible with my family at the moment, came home to a house of kip & I'm not best pleased. Hoping this bad cloud lifts off me by the morning, I need to nest.
Apologies for lack of shout outs - but a mass message, we're all doing great no matter the hiccups, be kind & nice to ourselves. It's not a race but a marathon, if we derail we adjust and get back on it. But let's not allow the next 4 weeks set up back 4 months, I have certainly done this in the past.

Welcome back keep, hope everyone is ok now? In some ways I'm following the bsd principles, no bread/potato/cakes/biscuits but I'm never at 800 or without 🍷or choc/crisps. Call it bsd lite very very very lite Hope you get great success over the next 4 weeks. It's starting to feel a little Christmassy, won't put the tree up until the weekend but seeing loads on fb where people have them up. The kids are chomping at the bit to start decorating but I'm the family grinch😉 Slept til 6, then got up prepped tonight's dinner, bake for them lot, marinated chicken breast for me. Weigh in this avo and I think it's going to be a bad one. I was on the whole better behaved but I don't think the scales will show it. Right now I'd settle to maintain, don't want the instructor questioning my eating drinking habits too much. Not achey as far as I can tell so that's good?

Can't stop thinking about food today. I am even visualising the selection box for DS in its hiding place. I shouldn't have bought it. Knowing it's there is utter torture.

No xmas decs here either. Has to be Dec, ideally middle weekend.

I've just looked back over MFP. I'm officially the lightest I have been in a whole year. Last Dec I was 164 lbs. Shame I ate it all back on, again, & had to loose it all, again. Will 2017 be the year for stabilising instead of yo' yo'ing?

Stealth post from gym before class, same as last week. Ffs!!!! Although instructor reckons I look like I'm trimming down and scales doesn't tell the whole story. I suppose I'll have to accept that

what a pain not. All that effort too. The only positive you will bear to hear is that it wasn't a gain. That's of no help to you I know. Sad

I have been using mfp since march and have gone from 52.5 kg to 46.5 kg. I'm so pleased (I am only 5 foot 1). I'm eating around 1600 cal per day at the moment. Those 6 kg have made a lot of difference to how I look. I am also exercising (mostly weight and body weight exercises).

Report
Not2bObvious · 29/11/2016 17:49

Yep bath I was f'ing raging! And technically I did gain .1 of a kg but he said he was ignoring it as it would be just fluid. I only ate soup today as too busy running around. Brought people out for lunch, watched them eat nice stuff...sob. Never mind, I'll persevere
fishion that's great, I'm assuming you're done now as that's pretty light even for 5.1, 7 stone 3 I think?

I have absolutely NO idea how you could consistently eat under 1200 per day. I eat tons more than that and think I eat really healthily. Home cooked food, no crisps or choccie etc. You are all amazing to do so.

It WILL go Not, you are on for a massive loss, I can feel it. Keep the faith. All the work will pay off.

Great loss fish. I'm only 5ft and small boned, look better lighter, I'm 7.10 at present. Lost nearly a stone so far, but 5lb since starting MFP on 30 October. And running. A Lot. I won't mind if I stick at this weight and food intake as the running will soon do the rest of the job.

Well done on your weight Bath.

Today has been a busy day activity wise. 4 miles with the dogs. Fitness class (cardio and abs) and then 10.5 miles just now with my friend. So over 1000 calories burned.

Brekkie - porridge, milk and raspberries.
Lunch - bagel with gammon and rocket.
Dinner - slow cooked spicy pork mince with peppers and chickpeas, jacket potato.

Snacks (for run) Crispbread and cheese pre run. Energy gel.
Treat - glass of wine.

No Not, but I'm conditioned to it. All the MRI scans over the last few years, and all the miles run, no damage or wear and tear. In fairness, I was pretty stiff and sore after the race on Sunday, but have learned over the years that gentle movement is better than no movement, blood flow to the muscles aids recovery etc.

Tomorrow is another day Not. Put the day behind you and start again, all fresh and positive. You are brilliant and you can do it. [cuppa]

I've been rubbish at keeping up. What is bsm? I'd be sooo grumpy on 800 cals Grin

not Maybe if you're looking trimmer you're burning fat and building muscle? Trim is good, the scales will catch up!

Hi fish are you maintaining now? I bet you feel great, especially if you can really see the difference.

need your meals sound delicious. Much more appetising than my boring prawn stir fry. 1000 cals burned is amazing, you must be so motivated!

Sat here feeling hungry so I'm off to bed to avoid eating more. 1294 today and I'm stepping on the scales tomorrow morning. Hoping to see 10.12, it's gotta be time for me to be another lb down after no movement for 9/10 days Sad

Sugarandsalt · 29/11/2016 22:57

Also rubbish at keeping up! Life starting to calm down here a bit. Today and yesterday both under 1400cals, and 18000 steps each day. Here's hoping DD sleeps tonight!

Bsd is the blood sugar diet goat, I did it for a good few months. It's meant to be 8 weeks at 800 cals, lo carb, low sugar, normal fats, no processed carbs or things like bread/pasta/potatoes. It's a Michael Mosley plan (from the 5:2 fame) I've seen it do spectacularly well for people who have a lot of weight to lose (I was on the official website too) It is tough but does work, I think the problem is it becomes a slog and I found myself starting/stopping so many times it was torture. But it definitely works, keeping to its principles if not the calories is v helpful.
Awake since 4am, it's going to be a lonnnnggg day. Craving a slice of buttery toast after 3 weeks with none. Kinda feel like saying f*ck it but trying to hang in there

All this exercise is putting me to shame. I really need to get on it. I was supposed to be running tonight but was sick yesterday so don't feel up to it. Wish I had the motivation to walk more.

Do what you can cora, God knows it's done sweet FA for me scales'wise. Your diet is 80%, I actually reckon maybe 90% key to dropping pounds. Exercise is good for the mind & body over the longer term. Even a 20 min walk a day is helpful. I think I may have a dodgy tum, let's just say I'll be keeping within close vicinity of my loo today😳 Not craving toast anymore, that's something
