Hi gipsy :)

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 04/11/2016 15:36

...chicken and cauliflower cheese. 803cals for today, might have one more cup of tea later but nothing else :)

KikisDeliveryService · 04/11/2016 16:46

Hi Everyone. Absolutely shattered after 3 days of training. I've kept my eating pretty minimal all week in that I've had no snacks, sugar or booze and eaten sensibly with 16:8 fasting most days.

However, scales refuse to budge so feeling a bit demoralised and deprived, the dark gloomy day has made me want to eat delicious stodgy food. I am only 1lb down from when I started this 3 weeks ago. I need a pep talk please and convincing that it's all worthwhile. I have 11lbs to lose to be at my completely obtainable 'happy weight' where I resided for ages before the pounds crept on again while I wasn't paying attention.

Hello gipsy and congrats on the baby. They play havoc with your weight don't they, the adorable little creatures

Doin step. Away. From. The. Buns.

Kiki you can do this because you are doing it. The hard work will pay off but sometimes the gratification isn't as instant as we'd like. Keep going. You're doing great Flowers

DoinItFine · 04/11/2016 17:17

Come on, Kiki, it's Friday, you're not gaining weight, you've got it under control.

Give yourself some kind of (ideally lowish calorie) treat for this evening.

DoinItFine · 04/11/2016 17:18

Too late!

I am full.of buns.

Each one so small and light Hmm Grin

KikisDeliveryService · 04/11/2016 17:21

Thanks :) Yes, I am doing it. No treats tonight as my official weigh in is tomorrow morning and I've achieved a decentish fast day today.

KikisDeliveryService · 04/11/2016 17:26

Tomorrow I am taking my DS1 out for lunch. It will feel like a feast after a low calorie week!

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 04/11/2016 18:10

Avoided the treats at work!

Dinner is roast broccoli and asparagus, sauteed ruby chard and a fried egg. Yog and berries for lunch.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 04/11/2016 18:38

Oo that dinner sounds nice, hairspray!
Tomorrow will be harder than this week has been so far. Visiting my mum and dad in the day, then fireworks party in the evening. But I am determined not to mess it up this time!!!

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 04/11/2016 18:38

Plan is that I'll have something with eggs for breakfast, make a fruit smoothie to take to my mums and then have dinner before the party.

seekingthesunlight · 04/11/2016 20:28

Two not so great days from me - big portion of fish and chips yesterday, then couldn't stop snacking today. Going to just draw a line under it and make a real effort tomorrow!

ponygirlcurtis · 04/11/2016 23:06

Kiki, when you don't have much to lose then it's always going to be slower and harder. As it were. Grin

Not sure if it is a good or bad day here. Somewhere in between!

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 05/11/2016 07:45

I'm down 4.4 lbs since Monday :)

BitOutOfPractice · 05/11/2016 07:52

Superb beyond!

KikisDeliveryService · 05/11/2016 09:02

Good results coming in!

You are so right ponygirl And I appreciate the slight fnarr wording Grin

Not so from me - 1lb up from last Saturday, though I did manage to balloon up 4lb over that weekend so if I'm being kind to myself I could say that I've had a 3lb loss over the week.

My eating has been amazing this week so I'm hoping that it will have a decent net effect in the end.

Things I will congratulate myself for:
Not snacking, not drinking, managing a fairly good fast day, no sugar intake. And this is in a week where I've started a new, really quite intense, job and had my poorly mother admitted to hospital so keeping away from the easy food/drink comfort was pretty heroic really.

Nice things I am doing this weekend to counteract the hospital horrors: planning a takeaway - I have a craving for veggies in black bean sauce; letting DH take over the Sunday cooking/shopping; going for a run tomorrow; maybe a gym trip today as well (pool is still closed though).

I've just had a delightful 2 stage breakfast of cinnamon and raisin bagel dripping with butter then scrambled egg with garlic, spinach, parmesan, ham and tomatoes. It was meant to be on toast but I didn't have any nice bread in the freezer so it ended up on some sliced wholemeal which went soggy under the scramble so I threw it away. I'm not going to waste my time eating unpleasant calories

Sorry to hear about your mum, Kiki Flowers

With a week like that it takes real resolve not to come off the wagon entirely.

Weekend plans sound both enjoyable and virtuous.

Well done, Beyond :)

4lbs from you keeps pur numbers up (down?) nicely. Grin

I'm at a work event all day today with food provided so no choice over what I eat. I will be shayteted tomorrow, so just writing this weekend iff.

I did resist choc brownies at the event last night. But had 3 sandwiches and 4 beers. Blush

Oh well.

HairsprayBabe · 05/11/2016 09:22

Morning all feel v v sicky today, my usual go to is ginger snaps and water biscuits to settle my stomach, anyone have any low carb stomach settling sughestions? Although I supppose feeling vommy will stop me over eating!
12.12 again this morning so no loss overnight

Howlongtillbedtime · 05/11/2016 09:28

Morning all .

Sorry to hear about yourmum kiki fingers crossed she is on the mend soon

doin if it helps I drank more than 3 beers last night and I now have a poorly head Blush . And I hurt my foot so I can't even go to the gym to burn it off .

So today I will mostly be whinging about my foot and trying not to eatmy hangover away .

Keep on keeping on everyone !

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 05/11/2016 12:15

Sorry to hear about your mum Kiki Flowers

Well done to everyone who has lost weight this week!

I have been to the gym this morning, I did a bodypump class so that should have burnt a few calories off. Fingers crossed that negates the curry and chocolate pudding and wine feast I am planning for tonight Blush

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 05/11/2016 13:05

Nice to see others doing well too :)

I'm at my mums now, just had my yoghurt and an apple. The kids are eating spaghetti bolognese and pizza, while my parents eat cooked breakfast.

DH is joining me in ignoring all the nice smelling food though, so at least I'm not alone Grin

My2centsworth · 05/11/2016 13:23

Wow some great results on here.

Sorry to hear about your mum Kiki.
Just on the exercise, beware, I think it does feck all, I train 5 times per week, 1 weights, 2 sessions running 7-10 km, 2 circuit sessions. I have been doing this for 6 months and have lost feck all. I love the exercise and I do look way slimmer but no significant weight loss. Weight loss comes 90% from diet something I have been loath to admit to myself. Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 05/11/2016 13:34

Hello!

Been working since 8am but I did stop to make some spicy sweet corn soup. Dd1 has just wolfed a bowl down but I'm waiting for bf to arrive before I try any.

Kiki sorry to hear about your mom.

Doin how is your dad?

Gym for me this afternoon. I agree that I don't think it helps the weight loss much though

My2centsworth · 05/11/2016 15:39

Mmm spicy sweetcorn soup sounds lovely.

BitOutOfPractice · 05/11/2016 15:49

Sorry about the Daily Fail link but the recipe is here

Mine looked almost as good
