Weyhey quim, that's fab!! :)

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 11/11/2016 15:25

I've had a look - the lightest I've been since I started tracking my weight was 206.4lbs. I'm currently 224 so have a while to go yet til I pass it...

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 11/11/2016 15:25

My magic number that I'm aiming for is 199 Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 12/11/2016 07:49

Oo oo oo I can report a 2lb loss as well. That's 4lb for the month. Vair happy with that.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 12/11/2016 07:54

Smaller loss today - 0.4 taking me to 12.2 (I expected a gain after the dehydration that follows wine, so a little loss is fab!!) :)

Bunnyjo · 12/11/2016 08:08

Finally weighed myself this morning and am 12st 5.5lb, which is a 3lb loss for the month so far and a total of 30.5lb since starting at the very end of August.

Well done to BOOP, Quim and everyone else celebrating weight losses Star

Lubilu28 · 12/11/2016 09:56

Well after a week of being really good, exercising everyday, including 2 swims this week and getting out and going for 3mile+ walks I still am the same weight 😫! So frustrating!! Good job on all ur losses just wish I could celebrate with u all 🙈 X

HairsprayBabe · 12/11/2016 10:58

12.11 this morning, numbers are going down, back on track -3lbs now

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 12/11/2016 11:03

Woo, I just noticed (as I track my weight in lbs) that today I am officially not too heavy for my wheelchair Grin

Well done everyone else. Lubilu, I bet if you measured you will have lost inches or something. Sometimes weight stays the same for a bit then drops rapidly :)

Lubilu28 · 12/11/2016 11:10

Let's hope your right!! I think I may have lost a cm off my arms and thighs, I won't let it discourage me this time and will look past the scales... I hope haha x

purplepandas · 12/11/2016 11:39

Just checking in as have had an awful week weight wise and really struggling. I am posting as I am at least acknowledging that rather than never coming back to the thread. Went for a run on thurs and going out later today (if DH is back from work in time) and def tomorrow am. This week will be easier as not travelling so much with work.

Well done to so many of you who are doing brilliantly.

Howlongtillbedtime · 12/11/2016 11:59

Well done purple we all have bad weeks and you are right the trick is to keep on keeping on and just getting back on track .

I have just been to the gym , I am doing couch to 5k but on the treadmill , not ready to show my fat arse out in public just yet . Has anyone moved from treadmill to outside ? I do want to and I have been talked into doing a 5k . Not till May but I don't want to show myself up .

Well done on all the losses people ! And lubilu I have had weeks like that when I think I have been really good and the numbers don't add up . I always and up losing a good amount the following week . Sometimes it just takes the body a bit to catch up .

QuimReaper · 12/11/2016 13:46

lubilu that happened to me a couple of weeks ago, so demoralising! I saw a loss the next week when I had only been a fraction as "good" though so I just had to shake it off. On the other hand when it happened to me in September I threw a huge wobbly and chucked myself on the wagon and had a hard time getting back on - definitely keep on keeping on!

Sorry to hear you've had a bad week purple - they happen to the best of us. Three runs in one week sounds like a win to me exercise-wise at least, so I still think you should be proud!

QuimReaper · 12/11/2016 13:48

Congrats BOOP Hairspray and Beyond on the losses too! Especially BOOP, just goes to show you can still let your hair down a bit and not sabotage your progress!

Where's Doin got to? Hope she and her Dad are OK.

wineusuallyhelps · 12/11/2016 14:18

Hi all, I haven't read all of the thread properly but I see there are some good weight losses Halo - well done!

So I started on Sunday and have lost 2lb thanks to this thread!!! It's really helping to keep 'being good' in mind!

Due to circumstances I still haven't done any exercise other than dog walking. It's been a whole fortnight since I've been running so that's my target for next week....plus continuing to dodge the unnecessary biscuits and slices of toast!

QuimReaper · 12/11/2016 14:37

Blimey CHarlie wine 2lbs in less than a week is amazing! Well done!

Think how well you'll do once you add running to that!

wineusuallyhelps · 12/11/2016 22:55

Thanks Quim, let's hope running kickstarts some more loss (trying to ignore DH who quite rightly pointed out that I put on a few pounds when I started training for a half marathon, because fat weighs more than muscle...!).

Well done on your lightness!

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

HairsprayBabe · 13/11/2016 07:43

Morning all, another lb over night 12st 10lbs now. So -4lbs over all.
Quick question, what time of the day do other people weigh? And do you take all your clothes off, to get an accurate reading or is that just me?

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 13/11/2016 08:02

Yep, I weigh in my knickers too, first thing in the morning after a wee (and always on the exact same flagstone of my kitchen floor so the flooring doesn't change the result - that might be a tad obsessive Grin )

I stayed the same this morning, which is good as I went a little off plan (only a little) last night and was expecting a gain :)

wineusuallyhelps · 13/11/2016 11:20

Yep - first thing in the morning without clothes. By the end of the day we're heavier!

BitOutOfPractice · 13/11/2016 11:23

Yes, first thing, naked. And I too place the scales in the same place every time

HairsprayBabe · 13/11/2016 11:29

I thought it was just me, mine go on a specific tile in the bathroom, and I weigh twice to check it isnt a false reading scientist problems

Trying321 · 14/11/2016 11:35

Had a TERRIBLE day Saturday lunch and dinner or and drinking cocktails. Have gained a pound despite gym and a three hour walk yesterday! Until Friday I am on a very strict regime! 1,300 calories a day max.

BitOutOfPractice · 14/11/2016 12:56

I had a by of a disaster yesterday as well. Had a bit of good news and took the opportunity to celebrate Confused

Very strict week (teetotal) here. I'm determined.

QuimReaper · 14/11/2016 14:12

What was the good news BOOP (if it isn't personal)?

I think I may be battling DH's cold. It is an awful cold if I get the same strain he's just had, he was knocked out for over a week Shock I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll clear up on its own! We were just saying yesterday how lucky it is that I've managed to avoid it...

I simply don't trust home scales any more. I shelled out on a super-posh pair and couldn't get a consistent reading to save my life. Rotating them 90 degrees always changed the reading, which makes them entirely useless in my opinion if you're tracking losses of a pound or less. I think they need to be calibrated every time you use them unless you don't move them between uses. I just use the ones in Boots these days. Once we have space in the bathroom I'll be able to put them down somewhere and leave them there, and should be able to trust them again!
