Eh what on earth happened there 😭😭 *chocolates obviously......There's no chocolate shits in my boxes 😑

Bathsheba3 · 13/10/2016 22:27

Happy Birthday Must Smile!!!! Star Flowers Wine & Cake . Sorry it is so late in the day to wish you all the best. Absolutely admire your restraint at gratefully receiving all those boxes chocs & then being able to ration yourself to having 1 or 2 a day, and that is it. I would have to give them away Blush. You are amazing!

The good news from my end is that I have finished at 1200 exactly. The even better news is that I have resisted wine this evening. Have given-in the last 3 evenings, and felt really foggy in the morning, & very emotional too. Need to nip it in the bud again. Easier said than done, but I must give it a try. On my tonic water.

Friday tomorrow, and I haven't felt able to weigh-in all week Blush. I'm going to be v v good this weekend ....

Bathsheba3 · 13/10/2016 22:41

Well, something else that happened today - I did some abs exercises. 15 mins of crunches, planks, and various other things that I haven't done in months years. I have sugar to thank for actually remembering I have a core, somewhere, and if I actually put some effort in, and remembered some pelvic floor exercises while I'm at it, I could perhaps tone-up a bit and not have to make such a mad dash for the loo more often than not

Night all!

Sugarandsalt · 13/10/2016 22:54

Happy birthday Must! Enjoy you chocolate shit!

Bath I'm delighted I inspired you with my core obsession! I slipped up a bit and ate a slice of toast and jam before dinner. So ended day on 1550cals. Haven't had toast in months, don't know what possessed me. I did however shred, do Pilates and 18000 steps so hopefully it made a difference.

Tomorrow there will be no exercise I'm afraid and diet will probably not be great.

Hopefully · 14/10/2016 04:43

Dawhead early start for yoga every day! I do ashtanga yoga 6 days a week. It's one of the things that allows me to indulge my big appetite Grin.

Hoping to do some extra steps over the weekend, but that will no doubt be countered by the fact we are visiting friends and will eat all weekend. am determined to keep logging, and stay around maintenance calories.

Not quite down to last week's low, but only 0.5 off it today at 10.3.1. I feel like I've found an eating pattern that really works for me - late (big) breakfast around 9:30 after school run, then a high protein good sized lunch about 2, then just a tiny portion of dinner to keep the family company. It's tricky, as it doesn't really fit in with when we sit down as a family for meals, but for the short term it's just going to have to happen, as days when I do this I'm averaging about 200 calories less than on other days.

Bathsheba3 · 14/10/2016 06:59

That is a good eating plan hopefully. I do similar. Congrats on 0.5 off.

I braved the scales, and unfortunately, as expected, I'm back up to 12 0.25. Sad my time in the 11s was so short lived Blush. My head is in a better place than it was beginning of the week, so feeling strong I'll get there again v soon.

You are setting the activity bar v high sugar. I'm going to try and keep up with you today ...

Have a great day everyone, & enjoy last few days of your holiday Not if you're still reading!

DeleteOrDecay · 14/10/2016 07:03

Happy birthday Must!

Weigh in this morning - 3lbs lost, that's half a stone in 4 weeks. Beyond chuffed!

DeleteOrDecay · 14/10/2016 07:12

Sugarandsalt · 14/10/2016 08:16

I'm afraid I need to travel for a funeral, so I'll be going to conference for a few hours, leaving early and then heading to the airport. Then a drive, so can't see myself eating well or exercising today. Bath I do feel much better exercising, but it's mostly just 30mins shredding a day. My day to day step count is high because of my work so I don't think it makes much difference.

Away from my own home/kitchen now until Sunday or Monday so I don't know how calorie counting will go.

Sugarandsalt · 14/10/2016 08:16

Well done Delete! And hope I'm never motivated enough to exercise at 5am!

Bathsheba3 · 14/10/2016 11:37

But even 30 mins, every day, is amazing sugar. Sorry about the funeral. And all of the travelling too .... all very tiring without expending much energy.

Half stone in 4 weeks is amazing spuddelete - well done!!

SesameSparkle · 14/10/2016 13:51

Hello everyone!

over how are things going with you and the wee one? Is the chair making a difference?

roar how are you getting on in the new place?

dawhead so sorry to hear things are so tough right now with your dh. I really hope that things are moving in the right direction for you. Don't beat yourself about the food though - in spite of everything you do seem to be doing really well. And your stats look pretty good too. Flowers

must happy birthday for yesterday! Grin Cake Wine Chocolate

bath well done on your last ditch attempts for a Halo before the weekend! Am v impressed by the spot on calorie day and the crunches! I'm sure with these efforts you will be back in the 11s soon.

delete awesome loss! What's behind the new name btw?

sugar I'm sorry for your loss! Flowers Do whatever you need to do, you can get back on track after.

hopefully well done on the eating plan - I'm glad you seem to be finding your groove

I'm on a train, travelling first class eating and drinking everything in sight! Grin Weekend away for me, hoping not to cause too much damage. Weighed in just a smidgen under 10st this morning. No sign of any movement at all right now. Haven't seen 9st13 again on the scales since I reached it on 3 October. Also af has gone completely awol, it's now a week overdue, so no sign of when things will start moving again either.

DawheadAwgusEeentock · 14/10/2016 16:33

Janey, even though things are quiet around here I can only just about keep up!

cora and made you've both been having excellent calorie counts - well done!!

made hope things are going ok for you and your Mum today.

sugar v sorry for your loss Flowers there won't be any harm whatsoever in being lenient with yourself while you're away. You have more than made up for it in advance with all the shredding and pilates!

Must Happy Birthday for yesterday! Can we live through you vicariously by enjoying the non-shit choccies and hot chocolate Grin.

Bath well done on resisting the wine!! And for doing the ab exercises!! Both you and sugar are tempting me now - I had started trying to plank before my knee trouble so I might schedule it in next week. You're barely over 12 - if you twitch on the scales it could easily show 11s Grin so you will be back down to them officially in no time.

Hopefully wow I had never twigged that you get up so early to do the yoga!! That's amazing and such wonderful discipline - I am not a morning person so it.does.not.compute. Wink That eating plan definitely sounds great and well done on the loss Star. Enjoy the w/end!

Delete (intriguing NN change hmmm Wink) wow half a stone in 4 weeks! Well done Star very jealous Envy.

Sesame thank you Flowers. The thing is, I feel guilty sometimes about mentioning H issues b/c we are very much friends (at the moment) so the atmosphere is hardly ever bad - it's a very weird situation. Swit swoo about the train - first class! Sounds lovely - is the food delish? Sorry about AF issues Sad but if you're a smidgen under 10 then you are in the 9s as far as I'm concerned Grin. Have a lovely weekend away!

So...case in point with H ...change of plan yest and we went out a very amicable regular burger evening. I always estimate it at 885 but that could be way under. If not, it puts yest at 1420 sigh. Sensible dinner tonight so I should come in at 1270 today. Still feeling ok but definitely got a sniffly nose now - I am feeling fairly motivated so don't want a cold to sway me. Also my avg is up at 1290 already so I must try to have a sensible w/end Hmm.

Not2bObvious · 14/10/2016 19:00

Still reading when I either manage to find wifi or accept the roaming charges. All going good in the sun, big walk rather than run yesterday & v little exercise today as woke late. I'm (sad as this sounds!) looking forward to getting back in my routine, too much gargle & bread being snaffled. Saying that I'm only eating 3 meals, only the very odd snack. It's funny when you're away with someone who isn't a nibbler, you fall in with their behaviour. But the drinking is a whole nother story, I'll need a detox when I get home! Sorry for all the me me me - trying to get out for dinner, v hard with small kids😖

SesameSparkle · 14/10/2016 20:33

dawhead thanks, it is still UK rail travel, so food is not exactly extraordinary, it's just a long journey with a free trolley - so I've been getting my money's worth Wink I do hope that cold stays at bay.

not glad to hear you're enjoying yourself and still keeping active. Smile

Kitchen eventually closed on 2236 today , so that's 576cals over... Hmm That bounty included 2 double vodkas (I turned down a third round Halo), 3 packs of crisps, lemon drizzle cake and 2 small bits of shortbread. And I still managed to eat my packed lunch on top of all that.... Is there some sort of pigging out I prize get to compete for...? Wink

Lolimax · 15/10/2016 06:48

Haven't been on much this week. Sorry if I've missed anyone. I've had a horrible week work-wise and head is up my backside. But I've managed to keep it together on the food staying under 1300 despite craving shit and carbs. I would have given anything for a Chinese last night. Exercise was probably the one thing between me and sanity. Life will get much worse at work before it gets better.
Up early this morning as I'm off for a swim (in the rain!). No weight loss to report but as I'm into my last stone ish I'd expect that. I'm down to a pound loss a week now, very frustrating especially given how much exercise I actually do. But I look and feel better. I'm looking forward to wearing my new clothes later and DH and I are going out tonight.

Overtiredbackagain · 15/10/2016 08:13

Well I've finished the week 1.5 lbs down but still a pound over my lowest, and just in time to start my bloody period AngryConfused so I won't be weighing myself now until next Friday morning because there's just no bloody point!

Thanks for thinking of us Sesame. Peyton loves her chair, it is helping her. We've had progress this week in that she claps, and tries to brush her hair and she had great fun wit her yoghurt last night! Shock

We're off to St Thomas' Thursday for an ultra sound on her kidneys and Friday we have an initial appointment with a private physio, to top up her NHS appointments, who have also decided to ramp up her appointments to weekly visits to nursery, so we're hoping that will help her too. I'm exhausted, work is manic but my boss has been amazingly supportive and this week bought me a top of the range scanner and printer for home, so I can do more and work more days from home, which will help massively around her appointments.

Sorry, waffled abit there!

Thank you for the birthday messages 😘

Hope everything goes well at the hospital Over

Well done resisting eating shit Loli and I hope you have a great night out.

Hope you are having a brilliant time Not2b

Get well soon Daw

Well done on the exercise I don't know how you find the motivation.

Well yesterday I was 1lb up to 10st 6 after birthday binge, I felt bloated when I weighed myself and it's TOTM so that didn't help but today I weighed 10st 4 Hmm so despite stuffing my face I'm actually 1lb down.

4lb to go until I reach goal. I want to get to 10st by Christmas.

SesameSparkle · 15/10/2016 15:40

over well done on the loss this week, very impressive given all you are trying to squeeze in. Your daughter is a cutie and glad to hear she is making good progress - how fortunate you are.

loli glad you are happy that you look and feel great. What new clothes did you get? Enjoy your night out.

must nice work on today's weigh in - that target is in sight!

Well af is finally in the building, over a week late. Hopefully that means I can finally ditch 2 weeks of bloat and start to move downwards again.

Much better day for me today. Despite being away from home, I'm nearly at 10,000 steps. Also I went out for lunch and I've just had a cuppa and a snack - and I've still got 554cal left for dinner.

Overtiredbackagain · 15/10/2016 16:36

I need to step away from Dr Google Angry her report came this morning from her spinal surgeon and it's just so bloody confusing! Wines open GrinWink

coragreta · 15/10/2016 18:46

I have missed so much by not checking for a few days. Keep up the good work everyone.
I think it shows how motivating you guys are. Joining the thread has helped so much. I don't check in and it all goes to hell.
I went off the deep end Friday. Well over 2500. I lost track. Daren't step on the scales!

I feel a bit stuck. Was wondering if I could pick your brains for some low cal lunch ideas I can take to work. Only have a microwave so nothing that really needs cooking.

Thanks. Need to get back in the grove.

Lolimax · 15/10/2016 19:05

Cora (on the bus on our way out!) I take a skinny soup in every day. They cost about £1.50 from tesco I have the whole thing works out about 200 Calories ish. It means I don't have to think, they're tasty, filling and warm. I have a fat free yogurt to finish off as I don't eat bread or have anything else to go with it.,

Wallywobbles · 16/10/2016 08:07

Sorry this is going to be an entirely me me me post as on phone.

I've bloody done it. Smile Down to 79,7kg fron 98.8 so finally less than pregnant!! 3 stone down, into the 70'kgs. Size 16s now need a belt. I look in the mirror and think I look ok, but I guess my vision of myself is a bit warped.

Boobs vanishing though and the pudge feels very slack as the skin is a bit loose. Hopefully it'll catch up. Might have to persuade DP that he needs to message me from head to toe everyday!

Lolimax · 16/10/2016 08:56

Well done Walky that's brilliant!
