Tomorrow's another day for me too. I just had fish and chips from the chippy. I couldn't finish it and it wasn't worth it. I feel so fat and greasy.

Sugarandsalt · 07/10/2016 20:27

Well I just had a 1:1 Pilates session! Instructor takes 1st session as 1:1 and then on to class from then on. And I'm really going to feel it tomorrow, this was hard! I won't be doing it again for 2 weeks as I have a conference to go to so I'll have to practice in the meantime.

Sugarandsalt · 07/10/2016 20:28

And Not the instructor is stunning- lean, muscle definition is amazing and has the most amazing skin (skin probably is not down to Pilates!).

Not2bObvious · 07/10/2016 20:38

I've eaten non stop since 5.30, I hear you on the grease cora, bleurgh.
bath it was a kids birthday party so no real glamour for me bar me doing my face & hair nicely & wearing decent jeans😁 My walk around the shops was just that, I had money to spend but nothing grabbed me but it was nice to see a groomed me in the window reflection was a nice change

sugar that's what all the instructors at my yoga studio look like Envy

coragreta · 08/10/2016 18:32

No updates today? You've probably all got more exciting lives than me!
Finished at 1035. Happy with that. Just make sure for no post tea snacks and all will be good.

Not2bObvious · 08/10/2016 18:45

Too hungover today to worry about eating, after all the kids left yesterday got stuck into the wine, bleurgh. Off to the canaries tomorrow at stoopid o'clock - will be watching you all from afar😉

Have a fab holiday Not. I've popped in a couple of times today felt like a university library in the summer holiday.

Sugarandsalt · 08/10/2016 19:03

I've gone a bit mad today. 1700caloriesShock

SesameSparkle · 08/10/2016 20:53

Finished the day on 1914, so 254 cals over. About 1200 of that was for a huge stack of pancakes for brunch. Grin

Sugarandsalt · 08/10/2016 21:22

At least you probably enjoyed them Sesame! I'm over just from nibbling DDs leftovers and endless pecan nuts. Only 5000 steps today but I did do 30 day shred.

Not have a great holiday!

Runningupthathill82 · 08/10/2016 21:23

Finished on just under 1600 here....highest calories for more than a month, but could be worse! A big roast dinner was responsible, and delicious it was too.

Sugarandsalt · 08/10/2016 23:22

I made homemade beef burgers for dinner (my husband really wanted a burger, and he's been very accepting of low calorie meals over last 10months!). I had one, with some green salad and a tablespoon of coleslaw. All around 650cals.

DH had 2 burgers, in buns, with cheese, ketchup and coleslaw. Oven chips (a measured portion) and salad on the side. His came to 2200. A large portion, but something a lot of people would easily hit in a standard meal- probably one they would consider healthy (very lean mince from steak etc). It's easy to see how we get into trouble to begin with!

Hopefully · 09/10/2016 06:08

Right, I'm back. Three days of not really paying much attention has got me out of my funk I think, and I'm ready to get back on the wagon. Weighing in at 10.5.9 (and sincerely hoping that I haven't actually gained 3lb in 3 days!). Have done a menu plan for the week and going to make a concerted effort to keep calories down to 1,200 and steps up to 10,000 as many days as possible this week.

Sugar it is horrifying how many calories one can consume without having anything 'bad'!

Not have an amazing holiday!

Bathsheba3 · 09/10/2016 08:45

Good on you hopefully - even better to brave the scales.

Sugar - you are so right about eating a "normal" meal. The meal that was served up at the wedding yesterday was delicious, and I ate every bit. Choc pud and everything. Dread to think what that put my calories up to for the day...?

Back into action today.

MustBeThin · 09/10/2016 12:45

Hello everyone, haven't caught up on posts. Have an awful cold, been feeling sorry for myself Sad Anyway, scales are 1lb down today so I'm 10st 5. Don't know how as I've been eating more to try to get over this cold, even had half a tub of ice cream last night to soothe my sore throat Grin that was my excuse anyway.

5lb away from goal, hoping to get to 10st by Christmas. Hope you are all OK.

Lolimax · 09/10/2016 16:14

Must hope you feel better soon...and 5lbs is really close!
Hopefully welcome back!
Sugar I've come to terms (and told close family) I'll have to stick to this way of eating for life.
I've been having a major think....and shop! When I started dieting in April I set myself a target of 12.7 but as I've got closer I thought I'd aim for 12.2 to make it 4 stone. I went shopping yesterday and to my upmost joy fit into a Next size 14 and more importantly felt and looked good. I'm also wondering that at nearly 47, 5ft 8 (and a half!) what point I'll start to look old? I'm fitter than I've ever been in my life and am frankly happy to remain a size 14. I don't honestly think there's a size 12 waiting to get out (does anyone remember that advert?).
So I think I'll get to 12.7 then call it quits but work on keeping that weight and on my fitness. My BMI will still be high at about 26 ish but I think it'll suit me. And be sustainable.

SesameSparkle · 09/10/2016 20:33

hopefully well done on the menu planning

must get well soon

loli well done on the next 14 - I reckon next sizes are on the small side, so that makes it even more of an achievement. I was a size 14 and around 27 bmi I think at my happy weight - although a bit shorter than you, you would probably look great there at 5ft8! I know what you mean about changing your way of eating for life. You can do it.

I finished the day at 1887. Including my run this morning, I come out 201cals under. I had crumble again today - but this time just the one portion at 485 cals. Grin

AprilLady · 09/10/2016 20:35

Hi all. Been a really busy few days, ending with DS's birthday party this afternoon. Having spent some time making and decorating the (football) cake, ended up having a small slice which put me over for the day. But MFP tells me my average for the week is on target, so hoping for a good reading when I step on the scales tomorrow for my weekly weigh in.

Not, hope you are having a good holiday

Sugar, agree that there is, unfortunately, a difference between eating "healthily" and eating "low calorie". A lot comes down to portion size, which is where I have gone wrong on the past; I had lots of healthy meals, but just too much at a time.

Loli, your target seems very realistic, the BMI cut off points are pretty arbitrary. Well done for fitting into a 14, being able to wear clothes you like and feel good in is very motivating!

Must, hope you feel better soon.

Sugarandsalt · 09/10/2016 21:07

Welcome back Hope! 3 days shouldn't have done too much permanent damage.

Must hope you feel better soon.

April good luck tomorrow!

Loli nothing at all wrong with size 14, and a BMI of 26 is no less healthy than 22 as long as your waist is trim/waist:hip ratio

Bathsheba3 · 10/10/2016 08:04

Lovely ladies. I fell back into old ways spectacularly last night - toast, chocolate, and wine. Lots of it all, too much that I care to admit to. Don't really know why I did it. But I know I feel bleugh today, not to mention the sugar & wine headache. I will dust off and start afresh again today. Not feeling the positivity I did in Sept, & I don't know why. But I will dig deep and try to find it again. May need to lean on you all a bit more to get going again though.

It's monday - fresh start for a new week.

Callmesausage · 10/10/2016 08:07

Hi, still here, but had the busiest week ever, so not been on for a few days. Weighed in this morning with a 5lb loss. Pleased with that, but not been at all focused on the diet. Hopefully this week will be quieter (famous last words I expect)! Good luck all, have a good week.

AprilLady · 10/10/2016 09:10

2lb off this morning, very pleased with that. Half stone to go to get into the 10s!

Bath, do put last night behind you. We've all been there - many times! This time though, look forward and not back, write it off as a one off and remind yourself that losing weight is a long journey, occasionally going off the road is okay as long as you then manage to get back on it.

Call, that is a great loss, especially if you weren't really focussing on it.

Callmesausage · 10/10/2016 09:13

Well done April😀

Sugarandsalt · 10/10/2016 09:52

Bath put it behind you, it won't make a big difference if you reign it in now.

sausage and april well done! April I'm totally in awe of you still losing so much in a week after this time, I'm getting so frustrated bouncing around the 12stone mark (a little over/under) for weeks.

I've done my usual meal plan for the week, but have a conference on Friday/Saturday which will be challenging, as it includes a dinner banquet.
