I went to the first 'Inch Loss programme' meeting at the gym today (they postponed it for a couple of weeks and now they're giving it to us free as long as we write glowing testimonials at the end!!! [hmmm] Still if it gives me a kick up the bum and doesn't cost me anything who am I to complain!
It's based on GI stuff so just a case of swopping out high GI from your diet and swopping in Low GI. Fairly basic and, with a few exceptions, pretty much what I do when I'm actually motivated to attempt to eat healthily!
they are also (suprise, suprise) putting a lot of emphasis on exercise to boost metabolic rates etc. But as this means they'll be looking at what I'm doing at the gym and helping me to modify/tweak it so that my exercise is a little more effective I'm quite chuffed! now just have to see if it works!
They measured us today though and I have to say my bum and thighs are fairly hefty
