Sorry if stepping on toes. But couldn't see another thread. Anybody want to join me? I guess the idea is that some weeks you loose a bit more and some weeks you gain but aiming for 1lb a week sounds good to me.

I'm 5'2" with 4.5 feet. Dainty is possibly the last word you would use to describe me, lol...

Rinceoir · 03/03/2016 07:10

Hopefully I'll be dainty from the waist up at least by the end of this summer! I have a wedding to go to in July and I want to be able to pick a nice dress and not worry about my arms/legs being on show by then.

Stellar67 · 03/03/2016 07:54

I'm 5 ft 2 and a half. I feel rotund for my height.

I went out running this morning. I have no love for it at all. I'm hoping this comes with practice.

Rinceoir · 03/03/2016 08:41

Stellar- I used to love to run, I'm remembering that when I'm out. I know when I started running years ago I didn't enjoy it for the first 6-8weeks and once I could run 20 mins without stopping I loved it. It's not for everyone though, it's best to find something you enjoy to keep you doing it. I completed week 1 today so it's going to get harder from now on!

How is everyone doing?

Finding today really difficult. For some reason craving all sorts of rubbish to eat. I just ate a lot of nuts, which are full of calories of course.

NantucketNightbird · 04/03/2016 22:09

Better nuts than biscuits. I was feeling the same on the weekend, I was bloated and sluggish. I felt great relief to get my period today and for my stomach swelling to ease.

Dh's birthday. Curry and bday cake. Ah well.

Rinceoir · 05/03/2016 10:38

Mines on the way, wish it would just start! Cycles a bit longer than usual due to breastfeeding. Toddler was an angel and slept until 9 so we had a lovely lie in, then I dragged myself out in the hail for w2r1 couch to 5k. Just making a brunch now. Visiting friends in the afternoon, will try resist biscuits/cakes. Made a big vegetable chilli yesterday so no cooking needed when we get home.

NantucketNightbird · 05/03/2016 11:21

I'm going to chocolate bingo with the children this afternoon and the cinema tomorrow with them. Both involve temptations but feel i can handle it Wink

Dh is actually just about to get on a plane for a week, so I can spend the weekend getting organised on the food front, and not get derailed lol.

Rinceoir · 06/03/2016 11:23

My shopping has just been delivered. DD woke feverish and coughing at 1am so doubt I'll be getting any exercise today. I'll do a chicken dinner, and spend afternoon on couch with her I think.

Stellar67 · 07/03/2016 07:28

Hope everyone is feeling better/good.

I've been away all weekend. Eating and not doing a lot. So I am dreading weigh in tomorrow.

NantucketNightbird · 07/03/2016 08:40

All good here, hoping to get down to boots to weigh but DH has the drs this morning. If not shall have to be in the morning.

Has anyone weighed today yet?

I'm down 1.5lbs. Although ate way too much yesterday, need to get back on track. DD been up half the night unwell past 2 nights and I haven't left the house since Saturday. Working late shift today so DH coming home to take over childcare at lunchtime. Hopefully she will recover quickly. Have planned a morning of CBeebies and dozing on the couch- have decided usual screen time rules do not need to apply when she's ill!

madwomanbackintheattic · 07/03/2016 14:58

Down 0.6 lbs. not much but have raging bloating PMT lol, so can guess why. Grin
Hope dd feeling better rinceoir! My weekend was manic and Dh is away all week - this could go either way lol - knackered and eating everything that's available, or actually having time to organize. I'm going to try and make time lol, but it's not looking v promising so far!!! monster week just baring teeth...

Rinceoir · 07/03/2016 15:55

Mad- 0.6lbs down with pmt is great. DD was much brighter when I was leaving for work, so hopefully she will continue to improve. Thankfully work is so far quiet and I'm having a late lunch.

Stellar67 · 08/03/2016 10:50

1.5 on. I am not going to beat myself up. Bought some fruit and going to sit and plan the weeks food now.

NantucketNightbird · 08/03/2016 11:06

5lbs in two weeks. I've now lost 29lbs in all and under 2st to goal now.

52lbs in 52wks?

Nan you've been doing amazingly! I hope to lose 2lbs this week despite my bad Sunday! Haven't been exercising due to sick baby (who likes to sleep on top of me when she's ill) but she is much better today so planning a run tomorrow morning. I've lost 23lbs now which is more than the weight of my (admittedly fairly tiny) toddler. I can't see much difference though which is starting to get me down a bit.

Rinceoir · 08/03/2016 11:27

Stellar, that's a good attitude. 1.5lbs is nothing, and we all have weeks where we go up a bit.

Stellar67 · 08/03/2016 11:41

Well done all! Nan that's fab.

Have you all lost that much since January? Or am I way off here. Grin

Stellar67 · 08/03/2016 11:43

Rince have you had to tighten a bra up? Maybe mark your seatbelt? It's coming off, and there's a lot. Have you a before picture?
I've noticed my bras are not as full! And that's only 7lbs.

NantucketNightbird · 08/03/2016 11:59

Since January for me I started on the 5th the day the children went back to school I was 13st 6lb.
I do wish I had done before photos. My top half definitely looks slimmer but only one person has commented and it's quite disheartening Blush

My jeans are a more comfortable and yes my bras a little loose- just think it looks more like I've lost a few lbs rather than 23! Probably not helped by the fact that I've been mostly wearing looser tops etc as breastfeeding for what feels like forever.
