Hi Bb. Course you can and good luck to you.

Don't know about WW but I ve always liked SW.

Wanted to chat about Kim Murray wedding dress. Pretty dress but I thought it was a bit old fashioned and made her look a bit chunky because she's quite slim isn't she.

Wonder what other brides think.

FreakinScaryCaaw · 12/04/2015 09:52

Hi Bb not long to go for you!!

I didn't see the dress properly but noticed her tiny waist Envy

FreakinScaryCaaw · 12/04/2015 09:59

Had a look and I like it. Think she looked slim.

His brother is very like him.

Dowser · 12/04/2015 11:17

Tried on the dress for the civil ceremony and it fits.....holds breath. Literally!

So, nose to grindstone and stop messing about woman!

An inch off all round and I'll be able to breathe and eat on the day!

Horrible rainy day today. Not conducive to not comfort eating at all, so will struggle.

My grandson is thin as a wand and eats loads of sugary treats. I shouldn't try to compete with him when he comes to stay.

He offered me a chocolate eclair( sweet ) and I refused!

I should wear my dress constantly to remind me. It might look a bit tatty on the day but at least I'd look slim in it.

What a good idea!

FreakinScaryCaaw · 12/04/2015 11:28

Well done refusing the chocolate eclair.

Horrible day here and started off so nice.

I've eaten some almonds so far today. I'm just about to put something in the slow cooker, not sure what yet?

No exercise except a few arm ones with light weights. Trying to tone upper arms. I power walked for 2h yesterday so feel a bit achy. A hot bath will help.

My presentation is almost prepared so am not stressing about that.

BotoxBitch · 12/04/2015 21:58

Decided to opt for the devil I know, low carbing as from tomorrow, eeekkkk actually a little excited. Done a big shop in preparation. Tomorrow's plan.

Breakfast : BPC
Lunch : tuna mayo
Tea : salmon with mashed celeriac and broccolli and at least 4 litres of water Smile

Actually looking forward to this x

FreakinScaryCaaw · 12/04/2015 23:12

Dp is low carbing and lost over 1.5 stone in 3 month.

gotredonyou · 13/04/2015 09:02

Morning all, sorry for my absence- just been so busy at work!
Bought our wedding rings at the weekend- another thing ticked off the list :)

Low carb always works so well for me but I find it so difficult to stick to because I miss my sweet treats/fruit etc..

Has anyone heard of the bodycoach? I follow him on IG and he's always posting amazing transformation pics- so tempted to join his 3 month plan hmmmm. It basically focus' on loads of protein/good fats but you have to earn your one carby meal a day by doing HIIT hmmmmm.....

Hope everyone is well anyway. x

SoonToBeMrsB · 13/04/2015 10:28

Bit late to the party but I thought Kim Murray's dress was hideous!

My eating has been atrocious, I've had a lot going on at the moment and my head isn't really in it. I'm back on it today and trying my hardest but I'm having real doubts about where my life is going and I just want to curl up in a ball and ignore everything.

OP posts:
gotredonyou · 13/04/2015 11:20

Oh no, hope you're okay Soon - Anything you want to talk about?? x

FreakinScaryCaaw · 13/04/2015 11:47

Yes we're here if you feel like talking. Flowers

Dowser · 13/04/2015 15:41

This sounds more than the diet Mrs B.

Hope you're ok

If you feel like chatting, then please do.

No judgy pants on ;-)

BotoxBitch · 13/04/2015 22:19

MrsB having doubts about the wedding?

Gotred, your probably not doing it proper if your getting cravings, you've gotta get your body into ketosis, horrible getting there but when your there it's great, no cravings, no bloating, great skin (from all the good fats n no sugar)

I've just completed my first day, feeling motivated (but hungry!) x

gotredonyou · 14/04/2015 09:26

Thanks Botox I did Cambridge diet for three months and lost three stone so I know how hard getting into ketosis is...But when you're there it's an amazing feeling- no hunger but I still got cravings!! x

SoonToBeMrsB · 14/04/2015 09:55

Wow, that was an angst-ridden post, wasn't it? That was a culmination of having no money, having had a crap week off full of bad food and cancelled plans due to aforementioned lack of money and a two week insomnia flare up. I felt very down and weepy yesterday, every small problem in my life just seemed unbearable.

My boss made me go home early, I had a long talk with DP and I finally, FINALLY, had a good night's sleep. I feel much better and more positive, and quite embarrassed by my meltdown yesterday. I have terrible anxiety and I was on antidepressants a few years ago, I still have days where I struggle a lot.

OP posts:
Dowser · 14/04/2015 10:21

Insomnia is horrible...it just saps away all your energy.

I got hooked on diphenhydramine about ten years ago after taking them after my regular trips to Florida to cope with jet lag but then I couldn't give them up. I then read that they interacted with another tablet I was on which together could result in memory loss. I haven't taken them since and my memory did get better.

However I still struggle with insomnia especially when other health problems kick in ormore aware of OH snoring or shuffling.

I still take melatonin and if I wake during the night I take a valerian.

They do help.

Switching off an hour before bedtime I think is crucial.

Eating well I believe is a must. I've had two sugar free days because health wise I just feel its not doing me any good.

I'm watching some cancer videos at the moment because of all the cancer inmy family. Very interesting. Episode two is all about Sugar. How bad it is for us, especially if you have cancer . It literally feeds cancer cells better than anything else.

I won't witter on any more about it but if you would like to know more ill write a précis about each one.

We are in the middle of an horrendously busy period ...and yesterday I decided to decorate. Time to sign off MN and unpack( yes, I'm not unpacked yet) and pack for Friday!

SoonToBeMrsB · 15/04/2015 09:29

I finally managed an entire day on plan yesterday - two shakes, a bar and copious amounts of liquid. I had to get up three times in the night to pee, I'm knackered! Grin

I had three false starts during my time off, one day managing to go until dinner time before caving but at least that's day one under my belt. I'm not looking forward to the headaches over the next couple of days while my body detoxes all the carbs and rubbish that I ate last week but I'm hoping to power through and actually make it into ketosis this time...

OP posts:
gotredonyou · 15/04/2015 09:39

Well done Soon !! I never got any headache's going into ketosis- just felt generally weak and hungry but when you get past it you'll feel great!! x

SoonToBeMrsB · 15/04/2015 09:48

I get so headachy and full of rage grumpy but hopefully it'll pass quickly. I'm chancing two coffees with a tiny splash of milk today because I really, really missed them yesterday. I also just happened to notice that the tubs of water flavouring are half price on the Exante website. I ordered two, used a 5% off code and some of my reward points so it was £6 for both inc. delivery. Hopefully I can drink more without it being such a chore Smile

Did you use ketostix when you were on CWP or did you just trust that you were in ketosis? People seem to get really hung up on them but I'm not sure I'll bother.

OP posts:
gotredonyou · 15/04/2015 09:52

You get hangry then? Haha Nah I never used them, but with Cambridge there were no extra's just three products a day and lots of water/black tea. So as long as I stuck to that I knew I was in ketosis- plus my breath was a giveaway! x

SoonToBeMrsB · 15/04/2015 10:19

When DP is in ketosis his hands smell like pickled onion Monster Munch - I thought he was joking when he warned me that it would happen but he was deadly serious, it's really weird!

Last time I was on day five and still felt completely rotten so knew I wasn't in ketosis by then, I'm assuming it might be a full week before I am Sad

Have you thought about losing the last bit with shakes again or are you finding that exercise is changing your shape? xo

OP posts:
gotredonyou · 15/04/2015 10:24

What?? That would make me hungrier- I love them!! lol hmm its normally 3-4 days but it depends how much carbs you ate the day before you started.

Yeah I've thought about it because I don't seem to be getting anywhere at the moment but I feel really flabby so i'm worried if I lose the last few stone fast again I'll get flabbier! I know the best way to tone up and get lean is to eat low carb/high protein and do HIIT and weights but its just so difficult to stick to !!! Whereas I found Cambridge soo easy. hmmmm..x

Dowser · 15/04/2015 10:29

Three days without sugar.

Now on day four.

Felt so tired yesterday. Was ok till lunch. Then had my juice and was just starving. Ate quite a few walnuts

Ended up lying on the bed then got up and got ready for bed.

Had turkey curry for dinner a few Doritos and a few dates

Was just hungry!

SoonToBeMrsB · 15/04/2015 10:30

I'm resigned to the fact that I'll have loose skin simply because I've been really overweight for a long time. I was almost 16st by the time I was 18, my stomach/thighs/upper arms are stretch marked (silver now, thankfully!) and soft so I don't know how much my skin will shrink back.

I'm hoping to start running again after I'm into ketosis and then slowly build my exercise back up as I move up the plans. I didn't think you could exercise on a vlcd but apparently fasted cardio is great for fat burning.

OP posts:
gotredonyou · 15/04/2015 10:36

I didn't know you could either? I didn't do any exercise on my whole three months on Cambridge as I felt too weak and i'm lazy

I have loads of stretch marks on my upper thighs and hips but they're not too noticeable. I remember dark pink ones developing on my stomach at my highest weight but they have disappeared thanks to bio-oil! x
