And anyone else who wants to join in. The idea of this thread is a way to record weightloss, motivate each other, discuss which methods if any we are using to lose weight and give the occasional kick up the bum.

Right you lot. I was going to wait until new year to start this thread but I think that if I'm going to have my head in the right place to start, I need your help now. I haven't weighed yet I'll do that on the 1st but I think I probably have 2 1/2 stone to lose. Last time I had 3st to lose so I'm seeing that as a postitive.

So, are any of you still out there? Who'd like to join me? Xmas Grin

If you have some now eighty you won't be able to use those calories tonight when you really need them. Think about it!

You won't feel it so much tonight then as your body gets used to it. Well done.

I am a little looser today in my muscles but I couldn't get all the way through shred without stopping. I don't understand that. I've not snacked since Monday.

The play was actually really, really good. I'm really glad I went. The actor was a very talented guy.

Gah, today has not been a good day again . Really hungry! A pack of pombear and chocolates may have been consumed today . BUT given it's DDs first day at nursery I'm allowed, right? I'm never going to stay as a size 12 if I keep things up am I Confused . Truth is I wanted to do a workout but decided to go into town to distract myself from being upset about DD. ENded out wandering aimlessly with no purpose Blush . Nearly week end and hopefully I'll shift this cold which will make workouts easier.

Hair glad you enjoyed the play. Don't worry about not getting through the shred without stopping. I've been doing insanity since last July and I still can't get through it without stopping! Show's you're working hard.

eighty sushi sounds lovely

Eighty well done for being strong.

TheOneWithTheHair · 27/02/2014 18:40

How did she get on Reastie?

Reastie · 27/02/2014 18:46

Oh, forgot to mention that bit Blush . She got on well BUT she's now being funny about going tomorrow. I think she enjoyed it but didn't realise it's something she will be doing several times a week! It's such a lovely nursery though I'm sure once she's settled she,'ll love it.

eighty, think of it this way. You will never be that way again. It's up to you.

You should keep a fat picture and a summer picture on view. That way you can see what you've already achieved. It is all about willpower.

Reastie, this will make you chuckle. Remember the perfume samples that loads of people ordered from your bargain Christmas thread? I ordered mine about late October. I've just had one come in the post today!

It's a Bvlgari one and it's gorgeous. Unfortunately it's too late to put in a Christmas hamper so I'll just have to keep it. Grin

Reastie · 01/03/2014 15:28

Hair Grin that's so funny! It's a tough job having to keep it Wink

Not going so good here today again . Think it's as I'm running food supplies down before I hit the supermarket on Monday so no yoghurt/not much fruit etc so hard to make good choices.

Did insanity this morning though so something positive at least

TheOneWithTheHair · 02/03/2014 18:24

You've kept up really well with Insanity Reastie. Good for you!

I've not shredded this weekend. No time but my shoulders and calves have calmed down a bit. I'm kind of dreading it tomorrow.

Is everyone ready for the Monday weigh in? I've had a very mixed week with some really good days and some very bad ones. I'm hoping, at worst, to maintain. If I've put on again I may cry.

Reastie · 02/03/2014 19:43

Hair I was thinking of you during my insanity workout earlier Grin . I think when you start an exercise program the initial aches and pains are pretty dire and you really do ache, but, if you keep with it, that painful ache will eventually change into a good ache where it feels like your muscles have had a good workout and even though they ache, it's a positive ache. I certainly don't get the 'I can't bend my legs and walk down the stairs' feeling I used to but I still ache and feel bad when I don't! So, short of that is, keep at it and you will learn to love it!

Crossing fingers for weigh in tomorrow. Can I admit I went on to ss yesterday and realised my current weight on there is actually 1lb more than I thought it was Blush so me getting stressed about gaining weight hopefully won't be true as I am on the ss more than I thought I was compared to when I've been weighing myself. Hopefully we will all at least maintain.

Keeping on an even keel weight-wise. I have the Out Laws visiting this weekend so it'll probably all go horribly wrong (or I'll get a good workout digging a new patio - just sayingConfused)

Well done eighty! That's great.

I think we need a meet-up so you can see that IMST and I are not one and the same! Grin

TheOneWithTheHair · 04/03/2014 10:01

Grin My in-laws are lovely. I know that's a rare thing.

I have weighed this week. I can't really put my finger on why.

Well done on maintaining Kato. Moan away whenever you like. You never know, we may be able to help.

How are all the dcs who started nursery/school getting on?

Hi all. Apologies for my absence, our phone/broadband line was blown down last week, only just reconnected - the lengths to which I will go to avoid admitting gaining 1lb eh? Anyway, am back, am putting my gain down to hormones and not in any way wine or biscuits, drawing a line, moving forward and back on track! Well done eighty, hope it doesn't come to it with the patio IMST, I hardly dare mention that I haven't done Shred since last we spoke of it Hair and sorry to hear of colleague/ work tedium, Kato. Reastie - I missed the pre-Christmas bargain thread, but keep me posted in future, always have an eye for a bargain, and glad first day of nursery went off ok Smile

Reastie · 04/03/2014 16:44

Hello,

DD has now had 4 sessions at nursery and only had tears at one of them although don't want to count my chickens! Have been getting emails from the nursery class rep including one asking if we could donate to the nursery teachers Easter present (eh? We have to give Easter presents?!) with the suggested amount of £15 . Is it bad that I declined? If everyone gave that the lady (lovely as she is) would get an Easter gift worth £120, which just seems ridiculous to me. Maybe my bargain hunting thread have spoilt me Hmm . Tbh DD would be lucky if we spent that on her!

Speaking of the bargain thread, it's dropped off my list of watched threads Blush . Must check if it's still going.

IMST practice that polite smile and head nodding for the outlaw visit Grin . It feels like they've only just come recently, lucky you Hmm

Kato yes please moan, get it out of your system and hopefully you'll feel a bit better

eighty that's fab, well done.

1 lb down here. Which is better than expected. After I got all muddled about what weight I was logged as....

Just made pancake batter and have done a toad in the hole for mains and lemon pancakes for pud for DD and DH. I'm being angelic and having soup, fruit and yoghurt (it's useful being gluten free sometimes!).

Reastie · 04/03/2014 16:45

I should say DD would be lucky if we spent £15 on her, no way on earth will she get anything close to £120!
