Threalamandaclarke · 27/09/2013 20:17

So ashamed. I haven't weighed in ages Blush

I fasted today. Not a "zero" fast, but ok I think.
1 banana, can of "healthy" soup, 2 small slices whole meal toast (no butter). I think it was about 500 cals. Probably a bit more with the 3 mugs of tea I've had.
Just resisted a after eight Grin
Mindful eating landed for tomorrow. But I' really struggling with my weekly menu because I'm so bastard tired.
Hey to everyone of course.

Threalamandaclarke · 27/09/2013 20:19

wellies I would have been tempted to suggest to the woman she surely meant she was usually the rudest person in the room.
But your way is better.

Rules please don't stop your "waxing lyrical" I love your prose. It's a super read. I must NOT be buying any Terry's chocolate orange. I spy a slippery slope.

Twinkle isn't it weird how one day of eating rich food can Make us feel like that? Please tell us all about it so we can fantasise about the yummy food Grin

RubyGoat · 29/09/2013 06:45

Hi everyone.

Hi Amanda. Hope you get back to sleep & don't spend all morning on MN. Grin

Sorry I've not been on much recently. Been madly busy with DD & work, almost no free time. Not always time to eat even 2 meals a day. It's helping the weight loss though. Whittle whittle. Am 9.2 now.

Have to go & make dinner for tonight (soup) as I'm out all day at yarndale. DH will be writing essays all day. I was up late making a list of what wool I, ahem, need. I am going to come back considerably poorer...

TimeAgainForWellies · 29/09/2013 08:07

Morning all!

My entire family are still sleeping......... I peeked at the Dcs to make sure they were breathing.

My scales are all over the place. 10 stone 6 this morning..... they were Lidl scales, so think I might have to go back to my old ones.

Nothing to report here. Lego I have recently had an urge to knit. I have never done so, but want to use the evenings wisely.

Me yesterday:

B- fruit
L- duck pate and baguette- bottle of red shared
D- nothing

Healthy not!

Hope all are well. :)

Rules · 29/09/2013 20:13

Evening Ladies,
Awww.....thanks Thereal. I didn't go to bed myself until 7.30 this morning and got up at 1.30. My son had not come in from a night out and was walking a ten mile walk home from the pub along the cycle path through farmlands. His sister was very mean and left him there after a night on the town (she is a little madam!) She couldn't have cared less but me being "Mum" was waiting up and fretting. Anyway, he got home at 9.00 this morning as he decided to have a lie down on the way and fell asleep.

Twinkle I also would love to hear about the wedding food and what you ate please Grin

b.......coffee and some galaxy chocolate
l........small slice pizza
d.......small portion of Lancashire hotpot (I think....maybe.....not sure yet ....lol!)

RubyGoat · 29/09/2013 21:35

Well I could have spent more. (defensive) Have bought beautiful wool & plan to make a hat & a jumper, both for me. Have spent the last 2 years at least, knitting for DD. Now I am having something (as I'm nearly at goal weight, woo hoo!)

Rules hope your DS is ok now & not too hung over..

Wellies scarves are always useful. And easy for beginners!

Hazelbrowneyes · 30/09/2013 09:37

Morning.

Weekend:
Friday night I had 2 gins, 3 small glasses of wine
Saturday: bacon and egg, pasta with chilli oil and grated cheese on top, pizza and wedges, far too much wine
Sunday: milk lolly, Indian buffet, chips with curry sauce, 5 glasses of wine.

So it’s no wonder I’ve put weight on. I’m so cross with myself. I’m not sleeping (too bloody stressed) and I feel a weepy mess this morning. Have nothing with me for lunch so I’ve got to hope the van has soup on board. I feel like pigging out on crisps and chocolate. I worked so hard last week to lower my food intake, and I wrecked it in one weekend.

Threalamandaclarke · 30/09/2013 11:51

Bollocks. Just lost my long post.
I am impressed by lego's knitting skills.

And I was just about to say that you all seem to eat so little in the day.
And then I read hazel's post Grin. Well, it was the weekend. Don't worry hazel

I have not been good.
Yesterday
B: toast and lots of mochaccino.
L: toast (again!)
D: roast chicken etc. Christmas pudding and an individual Pana cotta. Blush
Snacks/ drinks: 2 afr eights and two glasses of wine.

Today
B: yes, toast again. Black coffee
L: tomato sandwich, s&v crisps, probably about to eat a cherry bakewellBlush
D: I will have soup and ds and dh will have leftover roast.

TimeAgainForWellies · 30/09/2013 13:03

Hello!

You inspired me Lego I bought a beginner knitting book and will attempt to knit. I have become weirdly domestic lately..... I am a mad keen scarf wearer, so I forsee lots of holey scarfs in my future!

Me yesterday, I ate and drank alot. Hmmm.

Today:

B- 3 coffees with milk, a bowl of beef and carrot casserole
L- 1 poached egg
D- DH has made a mega strong beef chilli [cough, eyes watering] so that with tacos, guacamole, fresh toms and cucumbers and LOTS of natural yoghurt to cut the chilli! Lots of water.

RubyGoat · 30/09/2013 21:20

I wouldn't say I'm particularly domesticated! Just excessively picky about what I wear, & we don't have much spare cash at present. So I buy beautiful wool & make something, if I were to find the same thing in a shop it would be well out of my budget. (champagne taste & beer money - example yesterday I eventually decided on a kilo of undyed pure Merino wool, some is destined for a jumper for me, and the leftovers will be hats. Also got some Blue Faced Leicester, to be made into a hat which I will felt/deliberately shrink.) Much cheaper than buying from a shop, keeps me away from the biscuits. Grin

Rules · 30/09/2013 22:55

Mmmmmm.....think I might get the knitting needles out to. Homemade looking scarves seem to be very "in" and the moment and I can make them in the colours that suit me. Win win!!.
I stopped weighing myself about a month ago as I got fed up of that moment in the morning when its either going to be a good day or a bad day depending on what the scales said, and guess what.....Ive lost weight. I think its cause im not focusing on the scales and doing that and Paul McKenna, I have lost body fat and my clothes are loser. Ive also started walking more in the last month too.

B.....2 oatcakes and a banana
L......quarter of a Tesco chicken and salad sandwich
D......homemade chicken curry (from scratch)(small portion)
one spoon of rice and one poppadum and chutney

Cups of tea, 3 squares of Green and Blacks new Lemon chocolate and 2 chocolate oatcakes.

RubyGoat · 01/10/2013 10:03

I know what would help me lose my last half stone. DD needs to sleep through. She is teething ATM, so I am constantly tired & have low willpower & a) struggle to find time for healthy breakfast, b) crave sugary crap, & c) can't always muster the energy to walk home after work (I cop out & get the shuttle bus). If I do that every day it's 12k every week I've not walked, that I should have done. I need to just grit my teeth & get on with it really. But, I've had porridge this morning, Yay! And have slept (a bit) better last night.

I may follow Rules suggestion & not weigh myself at all for a while (if I can bear it), just to see what happens. I'm also going to start listening to my PM track again as my appetite has finally picked back up, which is obviously a good thing, but my food choices recently are not (ice cream), which I then can't stop eating. Not good. Blush
