Just thought I would start a new thread, seeing as we are perilously close to the 1000 posts cut off!

We have all started WW this January and so far so good, we are all losing. This is a really supportive group. Please feel free to join us and share your WW tips and any recipes that you may have. Smile

Yoo-hoo! I'm back after finally finishing my freelance contract, and will have time to catch up with this thread and start exercising properly for the first time since DS arrived.

It's getting really hard to keep up. Shall we start a list of start weights / dates and current weights?

AddictedtoCrunchies · 16/02/2013 19:54

sounds perfect Sally thanks.

I'm happy to tell my weight and losses. May keep me on track Grin

AddictedtoCrunchies · 16/02/2013 19:56

Would that be free Sally?

SallyBear · 16/02/2013 20:17

I think if you didn't use the olive oil and substituted it for a spray oil it would be free, or just reduced the Olive oil to a tspn then that would be a 1pp for the whole pan. So in essence I think that a small amount of oil is negligible when its been divided up into portions. I think that you would safely get about 4 portions out of a pan of soup iyswim.
I saw in Sainsburys that Filippo Berio do an olive oil spray that is alcohol free. www.filippoberio.co.uk/products/product-range/olive-oil-sprays/extra-virgin-olive-oil-spray/

Cheers mamma WW Grin Will buy some soonest.

onthemetro · 16/02/2013 20:42

Just back from a walk with DP and my WW pedometer...I earned 7 activity points! Blush Think I deserve a nice long soak in the bath after that!

I think a list of our current weights/starting weights and possibly weigh in days would be a good idea, it would certainly help with regards to keeping up with everyone Smile

SuzySuzSuz · 17/02/2013 08:39

Suzy 13st 5.5lb, height 5"4, weigh in Mondays - started in October but due to losing my mojo drew a fresh line last week so am counting this back as week one.

SallyBear · 17/02/2013 10:04

I read a "thought provoking" article in the Daily Wail today about the myths of dieting.
Thin people eat breakfast, eat fat, don't drink diet drinks, only watch up to 10 hours of TV a week and exercise regularly. I'm doomed. Wink

Hi great idea to share losses to keep us motivated. Can we add what week it is for everyone to put the loss in context?

Debussy 5ft 8
Start weight: 12st 3
Current @ week 2: 11st 12.8

SallyBear · 17/02/2013 10:49

Started 2/1/13 at 16st 10.5lbs
This week weighed in at 15st 8.5lbs so I've lost 16lbs in 7 weeks. Very depressing to see how bad I'd let myself go. Hmm

jazzcat28 · 17/02/2013 11:40

Am on my phone so can someone paste my stats into the list please:

Jazzcat28 - started 5.1.13, start weight 15st 13, current weight 14st 13.5. Total loss so far 13.5lb.

Aiming for 11st 11 but starting TTC in a couple of months might get in the way of that

MyDaydream · 17/02/2013 11:40

Hi, I joined WW yesterday to help me shift my baby weight and more. Currently 12st7, wanting to get down to 8.5-9st which is what I weighed a couple of years ago when I was at my most confident. I'm on 35 points a day with 49 weeklies since I'm mix feeding. Snacking is my downfall, and grazing when I'm in the kitchen. I've got a wedding to go to in July and I'm hoping I'm somewhere near my halfway point then so I don't feel like a blob in a frumpy dress.

OhTheConfusion · 17/02/2013 11:47

Swing by Chrunchie... im just south west of Glasgow!

OhTheConfusion... Height 5'5" start 15st 0.5lb. Week 2 now 14st 8.5lb. Loss so far 6lbs.

onthemetro · 17/02/2013 12:23

Welcome daydream! Snacking is my downfall too - DP doesn't snack at all and I'm so jealous of how I just can't stop thinking 'hmmm I really fancy a little something...' after dinner!

I discovered Skinny Cow mint and chocolate ice cream sticks yesterday, bit pricy but sooo delicious and only 2pp!

Yesterday was my fourth weigh in, and I've lost 7.5lbs so far. Smile I'm planning on going on another walk later on to make the most of the sunshine - hope its just as gorgeous outside with everyone!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 17/02/2013 13:39

Confusion I'll give you a wave tomorrow when we drive past on our long journey south. Grin

OhTheConfusion · 17/02/2013 17:45

You will have to be quick off the mark Crunchie... im on the 7am train 'down south' with work! I am bust planning my packed lunch!

Livinginorganisedchaos · 17/02/2013 20:27

I woke up today feeling pretty guilty about straying off track with the wine last night. However, when I started looking for something to wear to DD birthday party, I discovered I could fit into an outfit I have not been able to wear for months. For the first time in ages, I felt really good about my appearance.

So, I sat down and tracked everything I drank and ate last night. Oops Blush
It is now abundantly clear why I am on this thread!

So, I have meal planned the rest of the week to try and stick within my dailies and I went for a 4 mile run tonight to offset some of the damage. Upwards and onwards!

flatmouse · 18/02/2013 08:33

Started: 7/1/13 14st 1:8
WI: Monday, week 6 13st 4:2 (total loss so far 0st 11:6)
Next goal is the 10% at 12st 10, but my final (in my head goal) is somewhere around 10st 8

---- (not a crunchie line)

So, good weekend, once again, dailies used, used only half weeklies and not used any activity points (earned 29). WI today a disappointing under 1lb! (Sometimes i enjoy the scales accuracy, sometimes i curse it!).
I realise that approx 1lb is a good healthy weight-loss but when i have another 3st to go, it is a little frustrating (was only 1lb last week too).

Meal out at prezzo tonight. Almost had to cancel as couldn't find my eating out guide ;-) Have ideas for what i'll eat - happy to dig into weeklies (won't be drinking), but also keeping points low during the day.

Jazzcat i've done the HD salmon with chilli & ginger - absolutely delicious.

SallyBear · 18/02/2013 08:44

I'm sure I will be putting on this week. We had a curry last week, delicious but I ate too much. It set a pattern and all I feel that I've done is eat too much. So I will be gaining undoubtedly. Confused
On a positive note my mum came over yesterday, and I've not seen her for a few weeks. I've kept quiet about WW as I just wanted to get on with it rather than have people say things like "how's it going?" Or "should you be eating that?" She noticed that I've lost weight! So it must be starting to show!
