Just thought I would start a new thread, seeing as we are perilously close to the 1000 posts cut off!

We have all started WW this January and so far so good, we are all losing. This is a really supportive group. Please feel free to join us and share your WW tips and any recipes that you may have. Smile

Will need to check that out FledtoScotland, sounds great!

Excellent Crunchie, we can push each other (or rather you can drag me) along Grin.

I am in Ayrshire.

onthemetro · 08/03/2013 14:13

I'm having 0pp soup and a bagel (6pp, New York ones not the rubbish WW ones), a coffee and an orange.

I'm in Sheffield, though I'll be moving back dahn saaarf to Watford in August.

I'd like to join the 12st 7 challenge! I have 21lbs to go.

Sally I'm feeling the same about the weather. I was so happy when we had a brief period of sunshine earlier this month but I'm feeling really rather crap now that we're back to rain. And because I had to throw our dead daffodils this morning, which had been giving a lovely Spring vibe to the place... Sad

SallyBear · 08/03/2013 14:15

Maybe that's what I should do Metro, insist on lots of Spring flowers this weekend. Thanks

Excellent that's 3 of us now. Challenge 12st 7 by 1 July. Grin Grin

onthemetro · 08/03/2013 15:23

They're so lovely to have around Sally, I might get some more this weekend and take better care of them

fledtoscotland · 08/03/2013 15:37

Count me in for the 12st 7lbs challenge by 1st July. Have got 35lbs to loose in 16wks (2.12lbs per week Confused). Might be possible once I start running again

jazzcat28 · 08/03/2013 16:28

I would love to join in the 12st 7 challenge too! I will give it my all but will be on the TTC wagon in a month or two so not sure I'll make it to the finish line with you! I shall attempt it and duck out if needed...

I am out to dinner tonight and have 20 dailies plus 26 weeklies but it's weigh day tomorrow morning so not sure I'll go too bonkers Grin

jazzcat28 · 08/03/2013 16:30

Ooh I forgot to add I have 28lb to lose to reach 12st 7 so technically manageable if I continue my average loss of 2lb per week

AddictedtoCrunchies · 08/03/2013 17:35

So that's Confusion, Metro, Scotland and Jazzcat. Plus me. Eek, can't back out now. Shock

Livinginorganisedchaos · 08/03/2013 20:36

Hello everyone, just had my weigh in and I have lost another pound. Slow but steady has become my motto

No way I know it is a little frustating at times to keep getting small losses but in experience it is the slow weight loss that stays off and is easier to maintain.

I have resigned myself that at my current rate it is going to take another couple of months to get to target but at least I am getting there.

For the thread record, I am another one north of the border, I have been living in Edinburgh for many years now.

Off to start spending my new quota of weeklies on my Friday night glass(es) of red wine Grin

onthemetro · 08/03/2013 20:52

Just had the HD korma and it was very nice, though we left out the cream and it was a very thin sauce. I had a Tesco Light Choices naan bread for 4pp which wasn't bad. Lovely Friday night fakeaway! Smile

onthemetro · 08/03/2013 20:52

Well done on the loss chaos!

mrsXsweet · 08/03/2013 22:08

My first weigh in was on Thursday and I lost 3.5lb which I was really pleased with. The current weather though is throwing me off kilter though, all I want to do is eat crap and I 'accidentally' ate a 100 g of mini eggs today (they weren't even that nice). Oh we'll, back on it tomorrow.
I live at the very bottom of the A34 in Hampshire.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 09/03/2013 09:06

Morning all. Busy day ahead of me with soft play, lunch out, new shoes and birthday money spending for DS, more soft play then a party tonight. Smile

Was planning my meals and have skipped over to F&H for the day as think it will be easier to control.

Bought some new jeans yesterday. Next size 16 and they look pretty good Grin Grin

Have a lovely day all Thanks

OhTheConfusion · 09/03/2013 09:37

Well done on all the loses, it would be interesting to see what we have all lost so far and add it up... I have lost 11.5lbs in 5 weeks.

Went for a big walk yesterday afternoon then out for dinner... when those around me had ribs, fried sea bass, creamy risotto etc I had baked monk fish with baby potatoes (about 60g), steamed greens and a tomato sauce followed by a coffee! I was so pleased with myself I came home and ate 10pp worth of malteasers Blush.
Off on a 10mile walk today and really looking forward to it. I have not been eating my activity points, just liking feeling a bit fitter.

OhTheConfusion · 09/03/2013 09:39

P.S. 12st 7lb challenge is catching on!

P.P.S. Well done on the new jeans Crunchie!

mama04 · 09/03/2013 10:06

Felt a bit shitty about my weight last night Dh had a photo album out and kept saying how great I USED to look Sad
He then felt guilty when he seen my face so he called a take away and poured a massive glass of red wine Angry when I said I didn't want it and was going to bed, he huffed and puffed and got all moody Sad he knows how bad I'm feeling at the moment, I've spent the last 3 years either pregnant or Bf and have put on 4 stone Blush
I'm sick of his snippey comments, and feel like poop today Sad I'm ready for getting the Ben & Jerrys out and putting on beaches!!! HELP! X

mama04 · 09/03/2013 10:08

Meant to say well done for all the losses Smile and the new jeans! Oh to be there Wink x

bigTillyMint · 09/03/2013 10:31

Mama, what a doofus your DH is. Is he being mean or just thoughtless? Yes to Beaches, but no to B&J (except in my dreams!)

Tried to be sensible last night and friends have cancelled meet up tonight, so should be able to stick to points till tomorrow, but next weekend will be a mare as we have rescheduled friends for Fri night and are going to a dinner party on Saturday night....

jazzcat28 · 09/03/2013 10:50

Morning campers

Well today I gained 2lb. Not surprised in the slightest as I went out for dinner three times this week (last night was an all you can eat buffet). I am feeling bloated and sluggish and am back on the bandwagon with HD salmon tonight and a WW friendly home cooked roast tomorrow.

I'm not happy but I knew it was a likely outcome so am not going to dwell on it and just focus on the week ahead which I know has no danger zones as I've preplanned the entire week.

Mama I also have a DH who sometimes opens his mouth before he engages brain. Take strength in the fact that you are doing something positive now about your weight and it will come off, even if it's 0.5lb average a week that is better than putting on.

Crunchie - am well jel of the new jeans situation! Can't wait to go shopping in April when I will have lost another stone... Positive Mental Attitude all the way!

onthemetro · 09/03/2013 11:21

Put on 0.5lbs this week, oops. Has coincided with that time of the month so I'm not too bothered. Here's to next week, jazzcat! Wine

mama04 · 09/03/2013 11:39

Thanks girlies Grin and jazz if I only lose 0.5lb this week I will be chuffed as I tried on my comfy jeans today and somebody must've shrank them!

Hd book arrived this morning so does anyone have a suggestion for a recipe I can do for all 6 of us tonight? Smile

mama04 · 09/03/2013 11:42

Metro I'm due next week maybe that's why I'm going from jibbering crying mess to lets get everything organised in .5 lol Smile x

fledtoscotland · 09/03/2013 12:03

Ohtheconfusion - thats a fab weight loss in only 5wks.

DH is planning on sabotaging my diet by cooking lunch tomorrow. Hs doing gammon, veg, potatoes and a creamy m&s pudding. My weigh in is wednesday so will have to be v careful monday and tuesday.

Random TMI question - does anyone else get constipated when dieting or is it just me.

jazzcat28 · 09/03/2013 12:27

mama My fave recipes from the HD book are

Chilli & Ginger Salmon
Prawn Coconut Curry
Spanish Chicken Bake

Have also heard others on this thread raving about the meatballs

fledtoscotland yes I am feeling v.constipated at the moment. I think drinking lots of water is meant to help
