So I weighed in again today and that 2lbs has gone, and taken 0.8lb with it Smile feeling much better about the world today, aided by the fact that DH is working from home today so took DD so I could catch up on some sleep. Going for a long walk late and hopefully a run.

Thanks everyone for your support.

cinnamongreyhound · 11/01/2013 11:42

I run on the street Chopstheduck, saves money and you're exercising the moment you are outside the front door :) come join our c25k thread!!

I haven't had a day under sugar allowance clarkykitten so I ignore it! There are sugars in milk and obviously in your orange juice, I don't know what the settings are but the sugar in those are not really what you should be measuring I don't think. You can manually adjust them but I don't know how. My milk in porridge alone used to take me almost to the limit when I was logging!

Sorry x-post BoraBora! Glad to hear you are feeling happier and that the 2lb have gone as quickly as they arrived. Have a nice weekend :)

Hooray borabora.
My husband's birthday tom, and we are going out for a first meal in a year (last one was his birthday last year!) so I'm sure my food diary will make colourful reading on Sunday Blush But I am definitely having pudding!!

WiseKneeHair · 11/01/2013 13:25

I have had a crap week, see post on Wednesday and yes ds had broken his elbow. So I will start again on Monday.

Hopefully it won't snow (too much) and the Dc can go to school.

cinnamongreyhound · 12/01/2013 17:08

Sorry to hear that wheredidiputit!! Hope he's not too miserable with it. Having broken my foot in September I can sympathise, it's really no fun!! Enjoy your weekend :)

He being a right little bugger. But he is only 3 and doesn't really understand, he was trying to remove it yesterday with his toy saw Grin. Unfortunately he broke his left elbow and he lefthanded.

WiseKneeHair · 12/01/2013 19:40

Oh dear where. I think you deserve a break --> no pun intended.
I'm sure your DS will soon get used to the cast and I hope next week is a better one for you.

Chopstheduck · 13/01/2013 07:46

wheredidiputit - Grin at him trying to saw it off, how cute! He will soon adapt. Dt2 broke his arm when he was 6, very badly - needed two ops and he soon got the hang of doing everything left handed (he is rh).

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 13/01/2013 08:43

Well last night was lovely - good atmosphere, singer on piano etc...

I had: 2 glasses champagne, half a bottle of white, scallops with pancetta and nice sauce, pork belly with mash and lots of crackling Blush and baileys Creme brûlée.

Was lush, but....at 3am this morning, sudden and severe diarrhoea and vomiting. My hubbie had to tear up bathroom carpet and wipe walls and back of door whilst I got in the shower (the vomit that bad). Feel fine now, if a little tired .

So evening lovely. Night following pretty crap.

Nooneelseisallowedafergus · 13/01/2013 08:45

Oh, and thank god for toddlers little step in bathroom, I turned that upside down and used it as make shift vomit pot whilst sitting on the loo - shame about the holes in the side, but a life saver all the same. Grin

Groovee · 13/01/2013 08:48

Morning, had my first 2013 weigh in with a 3lb loss. Am delighted. But MFP isn't updating it despite the fact it is 3lb less than before grrrr. So a good start but am very happy this week. Am just chilling today.

Hope you are all well xx

WiseKneeHair · 13/01/2013 08:53

Well done Groovee
Oh dear, nooneelse, glad you feel better this morning. Think of all the calories you have vomited up every cloud and all that. Grin at the upturned stool, I'll never be able to look at ours in the same light again.

BoraBora · 13/01/2013 09:41

Slipped last night, and badly.

I don't know whether to get back on track today (though having our weekly roast later), or to just wait and start when the MFP week starts again tomorrow.

Ill be going for my run in a bit despite being so tired I could die, thanks, DD!

wheredidiputit · 13/01/2013 10:47

I'm starting again tomorrow. But we have a roast most weeks and they are only about 500 - 550 cal if you weigh the correct portions.

BoraBora · 13/01/2013 11:03

Yeah, our roasts are getting on for 1000 Shock

wheredidiputit · 13/01/2013 11:16

Ours probably were before we started MFP. But as I now weigh things so we have the correct portion size. So we have relearned what we should be eating not what we think we should be eating if that makes sense.

It's so easy to over do portion because plates have got bigger, we used to seeing/having too large portion when we eat out.

BoraBora · 13/01/2013 11:18

I guess roast has always been my "treat" meal (all of my other meals are normal sized). It would be reasonable if I didn't have seconds. I know what a reasonable portion is - and I know that this ain't it Wink

wheredidiputit · 13/01/2013 11:23

I would eat it as you would do normally then. Would you eat a supper/lunch if your having a big dinner.

I have quite often gone over on calories one day a week and have still lost an average of 1lb per week as I have still been under my weekly calorie intake.

BoraBora · 13/01/2013 11:30

Normally would have a tin of soup or something for dinner.

I guess I'm asking should I go he'll for leather trying to stay under today (am always a bit over on a Sunday) or should I just start afresh tomorrow, if you see what I mean.
