Hi everyone. Lost you all for a minute there as I accidentally clicked the hide button and had to do a search to find out how to unhide you again!

Welcome back twinkle! :o

Welcome to any newbies. I'm quite active on mfp but am very slack on here I'm afraid! Feel free to add me!

Well I have gone back to low carbing again because as much as I love bread, I think it was physically poisoning me. Well that's what it felt like anyway. I can't just have bread once a day. Once I'm in a bread eating zone I eat LOTS of it and everything goes to pot. So far since Monday I have lost 7lb by cutting down ony carbs, but it's probably just water weight so I'm not getting too excited lol.

Argh! I posted this afternoon but its disappeared. Never mind, welcome npg1 and Sonnet. Good luck with MFP. I have sent a friend request to npg1 and if you would like to add me Sonnet, I am HappyKite on MFP. They are a great bunch on there, very motivating.
I was going to have my weekend treat of wine and chocolate now, but I've just finished exercising and fancied prunes and Greek yoghurt instead Shock what is happening to me? At this rate I'll end up fit and thin. Grin

Never eaten prunes with Greek yoghurt myself WiseKneeHair!

Hope everyone's weekends are ok, it's piddling down with rain here so we're going to the seaside! Had a run yesterday am and walked around the country park with my boys as it was so lovely but today dh is at work now and when he's home we're going straight to Yarmouth to go on Dauntless and then to my mums for tea so no chance if a run today and lots of time in the rain I think :(

I'm back from my weekend away and haven't done too badly. Only went slightly over yesterday as we walked round for hours, and am doing ok today. Although I usually try to make Sunday a fast day and won't manage that today.

Well done twinkle and hope you had a nice weekend away pink
I've had to use my exercise calories this weekend to keep under which I don't like to do. At least it's encouraged me to exercise more though.
cinnamon hope you enjoyed the seaside and I can recommend prunes and yoghurt, they are yummy. might even make me poo

Morning all! Can I have some help please think I'm being a bit thick. I'm trying to have a few low days as have holidays and meals out approaching anyway, sorry if this has been answered before but I got my first telling off for going under yesterday and was on my phone and couldn't file my diary without adding something. Don't have iphone and ap isn't great so I ended up having some oj!to send me over. How do you get rid of the warning? Do I have to do it on desktop version?

Chopstheduck · 11/02/2013 07:53

mrsnec, I'm not sure why it's not letting you log it anyway, I'm sure mine does. Maybe you should log in on a computer and check your settings.

I had a funny kind of weekend. Sat we missed lunch then ended up in Beefeater. Yesterday I was saving calories and planning a Chinese feast for dinner, ate the starters and then was stuffed and didn't manage a main course! So we have stir fry for dinner tonight.

Food was nice though, I made a crispy duck with a lovely free range duck we got from a farm we stayed at last October. He was tasty!

I now only have 5 days left til we go on holiday, really need to behave this week.

cinnamon, are you in Norfolk then? I grew up in Gorleston! Grin I'm off up there on Friday to drop the kids to my parents.

Ooh, I'm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. I know Gorleston and Yarmouth! I'm from Norwich originally though.

You should be able to log mrsnec, it just comes up with the warning when you click complete this entry but it still completes it. As far as I know you can't turn it off, it's a permenant thing it seems for under 1200 calories.

I am just inside suffolk Chopstheduck and LittleAbruzzenBear, I live in Brandon at lot of people know it because of High Lodge and Centre Parcs! my brother lives in Norwich as he went to uni there and stayed :) Was a total disaster of a day as they had too many people turn up and weren't letting anyone else on by the time we turned up at 12.30 even though it was open 10-3, dh very upset :(

I'm feeling really fed up today and just want to eat! It's so cold and dh has been a grump all weekend, plus I'm coming up to totm so I'm feeling grumpy myself. It's dss's half term this week instead of next as ds1 and the rest of my minded children so we are having a family day friday when everyone else will be at school and I'm skiving ds1 off for the day Blush. Had left over pizza for lunch so will make a cuppa to fill me totally and hope sweet craving goes away! Plus I have some ironing to do so that will help.

Am thinking of giving the Anna Richardson Body Blitz a go. I really need to drastically change my diet as I eat far too much sugar, choc etc (even when watching cals) and it sounds like a sensible healthy eating plan which will hopefully break me out of my bad habits. It will be a drastic change from my usual eating though. Has anyone tried it?

I am not very good at keeping up with this thread but have been having a lovely read and catch up with everyone's news.

I mentioned ages ago that my DH thinks I shouldn't be doing this and SW. He thinks that it ought to be one or other and it's true that I have been ignoring syn values and counting calories since I started MFP. I'm really just using SW for the motivation of the weigh ins. It would be just too complicated to be counting syns and calories. Anyway, my weight loss is continuing fairly consistently so my pick'n'mix diet seems to be working.

Good news is that I went to the doctor today as my abs had come apart when I was pregnant and he confirmed they are back together so I can get back to exercise. I bought The Shred ages ago and can't wait to give it a go. Does nyone know if I hneed to buy weights?

chops, where are you going on hols? I love and live for holidays but don't get so many these days so love to hear about others' holidays. We are going to ibiza at the end of May - can't tell you how excited I am especially as I may even be bikini fit by then (if you ignore the stretch marks Wink).
