Due to the fact I'm a plonker, I put in an online Sainsbo order a few days ago before I'd decided to cut carbs properly and the orange van of joy arrived last night. My fruitbowl is overflowing and I have stacks of Activia yoghurt in the fridge. Gah. 3yo DS is going to be eating a lot of peaches.
Lots of cold meats, eggs, cheese, butter, cream and green veg so all is not lost.
Yesterday's tally:
B: two egg omlette with butter
L: cold chicken, salt beef, emmental and avocado
D: chicken liver and chorizo salad
Is that vaguely in the right direction?
By the end of the day I thought that I didn't feel full but might have confused that with not feeling bloated with carbs, IYKWIM.
thegoddess - that's v heartening to know that the sugar cravings subside. My cravings are a bit frightening today; I had to really stop myself plunging face-first into a bowl of granola when I got back from dropping DS off at preschool. It was his first day and I was a wee bit wobbly
