I think you should go and get it checked out today if you still can't put weight on it. If you wait for the doctor tomorrow you may not get an appointment and they will prob send you for an xray anyway.

Wouldn't bother with the dr as I'm pretty sure there's no way to tell for sure without an x-ray. It's better than yesterday which must be a good sign but I was hoping it would be much better so I could decide whether I can walk and let all my parents know.

MrsDWho · 16/09/2012 13:06

Oh dear, hope your foot is better soon cinnamon. And well done all on your progress.

I am still non the wiser about how much I weigh. Had to go the GP Friday as felt rubbish. I have a chest and an ear infection so spent most of the weekend in bed. So not done any exercise either, but barely ate much too so hopefully won't have put anymore on.

Hopefully I will be back on it by next week. Thinking of investing in some scales after all then on days like this, I can still keep an eye on my weight.

nimbs · 16/09/2012 16:26

hello :) well done for any losses -can't keep up with this thread!! Hope your foot feels better soon Cinnamon - and that you feel better too MrsD - have had a very indulgent weekend as we went camping for the first time, which also meant that I couldn't log on Saturday - so starting over again! Camping was fab though :) - all knackered and a little smelly!!

RGPargy · 16/09/2012 17:12

Cinnamon Deffo get your foot checked out one way or another. Sounds horrendous!! :(

Groovee · 17/09/2012 06:25

Well done on all those losses.

Sorry about your foot Cinnamon

I weighed in at Euston station yesterday on the most wobbly scales ever. I'd gained 4lb and dh had gained 5lb. We'll weigh in on Saturday next week as away again for a wedding.

cinnamongreyhound · 17/09/2012 11:15

Since when Groovee? Seems a bit suspicious that you've both gained and quite big amounts, could be the scales!

Have decided as I'm sitting here doing nothing much I'll start a new thread as we're almost full. Here it is

lisbapalea · 18/09/2012 10:34

Weighed in today and have lost 2lbs, which means I have lost 7lbs in total! I have been fasting (having 500cals ish) on Mondays and Thursdays and then sticking as close to 1200cals as possible on my non-fast days.

I definitely think I end up over 1200 on most days though, and I haven't been exercising as much as I should, so I think I can up my game and hopefully keep up the momentum of losing lbs.

I know it's good to lose slowly and steadily but I find it quite depressing to still be 2stone away from my goal. I am obviously socially conditioned to expect fast results! Anyway, will keep on plodding along and hopefully it will all gradually vanish and a smaller me will emerge somewhere down the line.

Does anyone know if housework comes up on MFP in the exercise section? I reckon I will have done over an hour of hoovering / dusting / mopping etc by the end of the day and I want it to be accounted for!

RGPargy · 19/09/2012 23:18

Well done on the loss! Housework comes under cleaning Wink Grin

MonsterBookOfTysons · 22/09/2012 17:37

Ive been wondering for days about this :o

RGPargy · 24/09/2012 21:24

Hi everyone!

Well, decided to up my weights a bit today in pump. When i say up them, what i mean is put them back up to (almost) what they were a while ago. I decided to go down on my weights a while ago because of my dodgy knee and also because i have weak wrists and cant seem to keep them straight during chest and triceps, which makes them ache a little. Anyway, put the weights up a bit today but still burnt around 350 cals. A little disheartening but tbh I do feel more like I've actually worked and also, although my hrm tells me how many calories i burnt whilst my heart was beating, it doesn't take into account the effort put in or energy used when lifting heavy weights. I'm happy with calorie burn.

Have a few baking orders for this week so will be keeping busy! I have made some cupcakes tonight as i want to practice my icing technique (i havent had the right equipment before now). Wont be icing them til tomorrow tho (it's getting late now to start faffing around). I also have to make tomorrow a carrot cake (first ever!) and then on Wednesday i have to make a Gypsy Tart (you probably wont know what this is unless you're from Kent) and some flapjacks too. Then on Thursday night i have to make my infamous sugar free banana bread for our fitness weekender this coming Friday-Sunday. Busy busy busy!! Love it!!

:o

cinnamongreyhound · 24/09/2012 22:04

I reported it because it was spam! Some woman wanted youto email her as she liked your profile and then she can send you a photo!!

RGPargy we have moved to a new thread! See my previous post :). An it doesn't take into account the muscle you have built that will be burning more calories all day too! Good luck with baking and not eating sounds like you'll be busy. Carrot cake is my speciality, when I was going out to work it's what my colleagues always asked me to make for a special occasion :)
