Hi everyone :o

Just wanted to say that it's the end of Saturday night and this weekend (so far) i have not had one bit of alcohol! So hard for me to turn down or go without wine at the weekend. Am saving the boozing for next Saturday when my friends and I are off out and also for the end of September when i go on another fitness weekender. Woohoo!! :o

Groovee · 02/09/2012 09:31

Well my no wine plan didn't last long when DP tempted me with the pub. Damn that man and his pesky temptations! Am currently on glass number 2. Weigh day tomorrow. Arse. Lol.

jchocchip · 03/09/2012 22:46

Feeling awful today! Had strange stomach cramps yesterday morning and just felt bloated all day. Went to bed with terrible headache feeling really full after having a great run. Woke up at who knows what time in the night and have been being sick ever since. Can't remember the last time I vomitted and I hate it!! Just hoping ds's don't get it too if it's a bug.

jchocchip · 04/09/2012 20:00

Uh oh cinnamon hope you are feeling better now.

I stayed the same this week, which to be honest isn't a mad surprise and I feared a lot worse after eating like a pig on our mini holiday in Norfolk! Ate FAR too much rocky road last week - fact!

Trying to get back on the wagon this week, but it's hard as I have been in London for two days with work and have been eating crap food as my time's been squashed between meetings. I stayed over with a friend I hadn't seen for ages last night, and wine and crisps were consumed in large quantities! (all while we discussed our plans for diets and weight loss - oh the irony). I am being borderline angelic today to make up for it!

RGPargy · 06/09/2012 09:49

Trying to get back on the wagon too here. Had a treat day on Monday as I was baking cookies for the cafe up the road, and that treat day spilled into Tuesday and then it spilled in Wednesday because we ended up having dinner in the pub in celebration of DD's first day at school yesterday.

So far so good today tho. I have a huge pile of ironing to keep me busy and out of the cupboard! Hmm

fluffyanimal · 06/09/2012 10:59

Hello. I've just found this, can I join? I'm on mfp as fluffyanimal and would like some friends. I've lost two stone already and need to lose a third before I'm at goal but I've had a bit of a break between the first two and the third so I need more motivation and will power. Must lose that last stone by Christmas!

wheredidiputit · 06/09/2012 10:59

Hope you are feeling better cinnamongreyhound today.

Enjoy your ironing RGPargy, I stood and did 2 and 1/2 hours of ironing on Tuesday and have another 2 loads to do today. There are too many people living in this houseGrin.

twinkle183 · 06/09/2012 14:21

Hi ya ladies.... Sorry I have been MIA, back at uni now, it's my last year, Eeek do lots of work to be done! I am really enjoying my weight loss journey now honestly I am hammering insanity and I have finally got below the 10st mark woohoo Grin Insanity is working wonders and I finally have a 31inch waist..... I am on top of the world!!!

Come on ladies you can do it.... Weigh in again on Saturday am not expecting much in the way of loss but that's okay cos I managed to get in to a pair of jeans I haven't worn since 2004... Hehehe

Good luck with the ironing RG, that's the one job I hate...

Welcome to all the newbies feel free to add me, my name is the same as on here!!! Well done on all the losses... Xxx

cinnamongreyhound · 06/09/2012 17:37

Hi fluffyanimal, welcome!!

Thanks wheredidiputit, I'm getting there slowly but surely! Haven't been so ill for a very long time! I have lost just over 2Kg in 3 days and am still feeling a bit weak and lifeless but am managing to eat a bit and feeling much more like me :)

Well done twinkle183, glad to hear things are going well. What are you studying at uni?

Gutted I missed my timed 5K run with my running group yesterday as I'm not sure I'd have made the walk there let alone the run!! Hoping to run tomorrow but still knackered from the school run today so maybe not :(

MonsterBookOfTysons · 06/09/2012 18:19

Hi, as soon as i started getting used to being back home i got a migraine so have had a mismatch of filling days in, but not been over luckily :)
Looking forward to normal life now :o

ChookKeeper · 06/09/2012 20:21

Just checking in after this week's weigh in.

Week 6 and I lost another 2lbs making a total of 19lbs Grin

RGPargy · 06/09/2012 21:30

Sorry you are still feeling poorly Cinnamon. Hope you are on the mend very soon. It's horrible being so under the weather isn't it.

ChookKeeper well done on the your loss! That's fab!

Got all the ironing done, which was as boring as smelly socks!! I'll have to think of something else to do on my day off tomorrow now. Am going to the gym tho for spin and step but I dont think i'll be hanging around because the normal gym crew are all busy on a Friday i think. Oh well, it'll do me good to get on with some (dare i say it) housework Shock.

PippiL · 07/09/2012 19:29

Hello, I'm emblestrembles on mfp. Feel free to add me.

I've been cheating doing Cambridge plan and am on step 3 now...so only having two products per day. I've been tracking for the last month or so on mfp though in preparation for coming off the products.

Would be interested to see some good diaries. I had a crap day today and had pizza so need a boost kick up the arse

I'm 18lbs down and slowing down now.

Groovee · 07/09/2012 20:20

Well done everyone on losses and welcome to all newbies and everyone returning.

Am needing to boost my calories tonight a wee bit but don't know what I fancy.

GeekLove · 09/09/2012 09:20

Hello all! Had a cheat day yesterday with a yummy Chinese buffet. But I am still going to weigh myself. I am mostly using MFP to monitor intake and up protien rather than a specific diet but it has helped me lose 3 kg net since February.

I do fine my weight fluctuates over the month I gain 1kg the week before AF. I am also only 5kg shy of my goal weight and it does get harder the less you lose.
I have Jillian Micheals to thank for my waist - finally 28in!

I will be posting my weight (as measured by wii fit) later..

Ps I am iateallthebees on mfp

Groovee · 09/09/2012 09:57

Well done GeekLove.

Well weighed in today, really really wanting 2lb off for my stone award. I nearly screamed boots down because I got a 3lb loss this week. That's 15lb in 7 weeks.

I originally aimed for 7lb in 7 weeks but I've doubled that and that is a bonus. I've lost 7% of my body weight to date, so aiming for my 10% now.

Dh lost 4lb this week. That's 13lb in 5.5 weeks. So he's doing fabulous too.

Good luck to everyone for losses this week x

ChookKeeper · 09/09/2012 14:03

Well done Groovee it's great to get that first stone out of the way.

Great to hear it's working for your DH too. I'm doing MFP alongside my DDs and it's really helping to have someone working with you.

wheredidiputit · 09/09/2012 19:36

Well done Groove.

Not logging today as we've had a family BBQ for DD2 5th birthday. Will still weigh in tomorrow and start again.
