Hi ,Ive been doing sw extra easy for a week now ,had my weigh in and have lost 2 lbs .
Most other people in the group have lost 4 or 5 lbs so am i doing it wrong? i have not used hardly any syns and been swimming twice and gym twice.

Thanks goingtoofast - that week's menu looks amazing so if it's all free Im going to give it a go.

I know its quite high protein (but can see me eating those 'free' chips constantly) Grin

Hi all, can i join you please? I started slimmimg world last thursday and im finding it quite easy to do the extra easy plan. Maybe too easy as i can't understand how people lose weight at all. I'm eating loads sticking to the 1/3 superfree etc but im keeping my syns to between 5-10 most days. I've got 3 stone to lose and weigh in is tomorrow so fingers crossed for a couple of pounds off!

Hi newmum I was exactly the same, and ate even more than usual but I lost 4lb the first week and havade steady progress since, I think it's because I don't feel like its a diet. Good luck and keep us posted Grin

I feel the same too, it doesn't feel like a diet so am suprised the weight is comming off - really it's a sensible approach to eating.

Elizabethswan - can you give me the recipe for the bacon and cheese quiche - can only find the ordinary one on the sw website thanks - sadly am not a lover of cottage cheese so gag a bit if I make a normal one! Grin

Ive got a quick qestion. The last couple of days ive been atruggling to get my b choice in. Ive been having bread as im not a big cereal person but im fed up of bread now so havent had a b choice for 2 days. Will that make a big difference to weight loss? Im gonna get some hifi bars tomorrow cause they can be a b choice. From what i can tell b choice is just about fibre so shouldnt matter too much in terms of weight loss should it?

I have tried Slimming World and liked the diet a lot better than the weight Watchers one. but the Slimming World meetings are just simply dreadful. I wish they would rethink the formula. I don't think I could stand attending another SW meeting.

New mum i have a problem with fibre so I don't have an b but Iv still been loosing!
mary I don't go to meetings now- I personally get a bit disheartened, I just weigh and go Blush

newmum001, I don't always have my b choice. I eat plenty of veg so have lots of fibre. You can have olive oil rather than bread. TBH I'm not keen on the b choice bars as they are so sugary.

Can I ask if its worth joining SW online as I can't get weekly meetings. I need to lose weight but want to it in a healthy way.

Goingtoofast i could do with a bit of sugar. I know the point of syns means you can have chocolate etc but its taking me a while to get my head round that and im really missing it. My dp is trying to do it with me but not going to meetings and hes just found out that a tray of donner meat (yuk) is 8 syns and he's possitively ecstatic! Haha

I am not a great morning person for having breakfast etc even though I know it kick starts the metabolism etc. I am now having 2 Alpan Light bars (a "B" choice) with a morning cuppa. Gets metabolism going and definitely not a chore to eat.

Hi wheredidiputit The SW site has a free weeks menu so if you're not sure I would do that and you'll get the general idea and see if it works for you. I've done 2 weeks like that and have lost 5 pounds of the stone I want to lose

Do people still do red days and green days or does nearly everyone do the extra easy now. I used to do mostly green days. As I needed the carbs to stop me from feeling dizzy. That's my excuse anyway Grin

I do EE, i's working for me - 20.5lbs in 6 weeks. Will do red/green if weighttloss stalls - have another 7 st to go!

Thanks mutley1. I have had a look now can I ask another silly question how do you eat that much food.

Hence why I have doubts as to how it can work.

Although I think it probably I don't eat enough. For example today because my hayfever back (both nose and mouth inflamed) so I don't feel like eating.

So this morning didn't have breakfast or anything so finally had poached egg toast at 1.30pm and dinner was just stir fried veg as I didn't fancy any meat.
