Do you not have bones or internal organs? Grin

Sounds like rubbish to me.

Did those carbs from harvester include chips maybe?

vnmum · 04/03/2012 18:41

When I entered the info on the website I didn't choose a side, the table of nutrtion just showed the mixed grill at 57g and diane sauce at 1.2g (or 2.1g can't remember, I was in shock at the grill, lol)

I also have those body fat scales and they are good to show my fat% go down and muscle go up but the figures don't add up to 100%, this morning I was 29.8% fat, 30.8% muscle and 51% water. Apparently the figures alter depending on how hydrated you are too

GetOrfMoiiLand · 04/03/2012 20:37

Well.

The alcohol fuelled saturday has turned into a carb fuelled sunday.

Toast and scrambled egg.
Pringles
Oreos
Lindt mini bunny
Nandos chicken burger (first I ate just the chicken and then I ate the bread as well in a fit of rebellion)
Macho peas
Some chips thieved from DP's plate
Chicken and leek pie
Cauliflower cheese
Whole nut
Mango cheesecake

For fuck's sake Grin

I am very depressed because the last time I had a big party weekend (and recovered from a monster hangover by eating 8 million calories the next day) my weight went right up and took ages to get back down again.

I am going to be ANGELIC next week. But am not weighing in til Friday because I don't want to depress myself.

Protein and healthy veg only, no dairy, diet coke, sugar free red bull or coffee.

Oh no don't feel sorry for me - all bloody self inflicted. I knew this weekend would be a break from the diet, but didn't think it would be to this extent.

I just put all that lot in my fitness pal Blush Grin
Do you mean for me to just drink water and not eat at all tomorrow?

CointreauVersial · 04/03/2012 21:28

Put it in a box, GOML.

Onwards and upwards......

I just had a lovely roast chicken dinner, and thought I'd boil up the bones for stock, and make some nice healthy soup for next week. Trouble is, I forgot to turn down the heat, and wandered off to do a spot of eBaying. I now have a very steamy chicken-scented kitchen and a pan of black bony goo. Blush

No, I don't have to but I must admit I am going a bit mad with the cheese. Blush

BornToShopForcedToWork · 05/03/2012 08:20

Hi, after I ate banana bread Angry last week I weighed in myself and had lost 3lbs!!! So happy! I downloaded Julian Michaels app and will do some more exercise !

BornToShopForcedToWork · 05/03/2012 08:31

GetOrf
Don't be too hard on yourself, I cheated last week (banana bread etc.) and put on two lbs over night (after already being stuck at the same weight for a week), was out of ketose and just started again and this morning I had lost three lbs ! after a weekend with lots of wine

GetOrfMoiiLand · 05/03/2012 08:36

Well done cheerful on your weight loss - that is really good! I too go mad on the cheese and was quite worried that it had stalled my weightloss, it says in one of the books that I have that cheese should be restricted and not eaten freely. However I seem to snap a bit of cheese off to munch every time I go near the fridge Hmm

I may well have a fast day. I have no appetite anyway because I have had a night of feeling very sick and have got the runs (TMI sorry) and the thought of eating anything turns my stomach.

That'll teach me to feast like Henry VIII. Grin

PostBellumBugsy · 05/03/2012 08:41

Glad you had a good (if carby) birthday GetOrf.

After 2 weeks of stall, I am down 2lb again. Into my 2nd stone now, so 12lb to go!!!! Grin

GetOrfMoiiLand · 05/03/2012 08:48

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

post that is really good news - it makes you feel really despondent stalling for a couple of weeks, so I bet you are delighted that you have broken the spell (so to speak) and have lost some more. Great start to a Monday.

vnmum · 05/03/2012 09:46

Well done on losses. I am off to the gym this morning, will see if my trainer beasts me again, i'm still stiff from wednesdays session!

flipflopflap · 05/03/2012 10:21

Made a lovely Mushroom and Blue Cheese crumble last night, used a tiny bit of Soy flour and Parmesan to make the topping, it's going on my favourites list it was that tasty! DH used it on top of steak and I just had it with veg.

2lb off. I really didn't think I'd have lost anything after the slip up with the full sugar coke at the weekend, so I'm happy with that. That's 6lb in two weeks which is great, it took me about 3 months to get that much off at Weight Watchers, and I feel much healthier.

I should be off induction today but I'm going to keep going as I've a party at the weekend and I have a few dresses I'd like to be a bit less snug!

GetOrfMoiiLand · 05/03/2012 10:26

Well done flip flop - that is brilliant.

I have no excuses now until July - that is when we are going on holiday and no big parties planned between here and then.

So - have a stone to lose by July which I think is very achievable.

I hope the diet keeps working - I read a few articles online last night about if you keep falling off the wagon it makes it a lot harder to lose weight at the same rate when you go back to low carbing.

PostBellumBugsy · 05/03/2012 10:33

Well done fellow losers. Have updated for me too.

GetOrf, I'm not sure that is always true (the falling off thing). Reading the forum on the livinlavida website, some of those long-term low carbers do a "carb up" day every now & again to break stalls. I think it depends on how often you keep falling off the wagon - but very odd occasions, shouldn't throw you too much. Also, if you do put weight on, the good thing is it should just be water retention, rather than fat.

Well I was out of ketosis this morning Angry, must have been the harvester. Blasted 542 cals in 50 mins at the gym but didn't feel like the trainer worked me hard enough so might do the shred later in the hope the exercise burns the carbs and gets me back into ketosis.

I found this success story on a forum, the pics are very inspiring

PostBellumBugsy · 05/03/2012 12:16

Wow, vnmum - those pics are fantastic. I love stuff like that - makes me want to lose even more.

CointreauVersial · 05/03/2012 13:32

Flipflopflap - that crumble sounds scrummy, right up my street. Recipe??

I'm sitting at my desk burping contentedly after a huge plateful of spiced okra. My colleagues are looking decidedly Hmm about the curry whiffs now engulfing the office. Blush

Well, I hadn't lost anything when I weighed in this morning, but I feel very bloated and AF has come early, so that explains a lot. But well done all you losers! So updated list as follows:

I think it takes the pressure off - 1 stone by July is a really achievable target. It is 16 weeks away so if you get a lb a week it will be just over the target.

I have got to get out of the mindset that this is a quick fix diet (usually in my head if I go on a diet I think I am like someone on the Biggest Loser - anything less than a 10lb weight loss in a week seems rather disappointing!) and this is a way of life - the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off.

I feel rough today - very bloated and sick, I don't know if I am just feeling a bit ill, or it is the ill effects of eating all that shite.

I am not hungry thankfully because I had visions of my CRAVING a baguette or something today after 2 days of fairly sustained eating.

That is a really inspirational link. Low carb and Jillian Michaels all the way!
