I don't pop all the time!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2011 12:01

PISTE AND HER PERKY PISTES POPS!!

GettinTrimmer · 02/02/2011 13:07

piste is too posh to pop

Do you know how many points are in pitta bread Blondes?

Thinking of changing wi day to Saturday this week, would be good for morale to give myself an extra day.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/02/2011 13:20

At least I haven't popped my perky pistes!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2011 13:38

trimmer 4 for pitta bread - you are prob better at having 4 crispbread or 2 slices of bread depending on what you are having

lets hope piste doesnt pop her perky pistes and poo her pants when popping

pmsl

;runs very fast'

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/02/2011 14:18

Quick as a flash, Piste sticks her foot out, successfully tripping up the escaping Blondes, who lands head first in a muddy puddle.

Poopy pants yourself!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2011 14:37

now thats just mean!!!!

'shakes mud off herself and rugby tackles piste into mud and sits on her' Grin

im trying to be good today, but im hungary - gong to play centre after school and know the waft of bacon buttys will be hard Envy

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/02/2011 15:22

There is the sound of muffled squeaking from underneath Blondes and then slowly Piste emerges

Thank god you've lost so much weight Blondes or I would have been flattened....!

< splutter >

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/02/2011 15:28

Piste emerges

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/02/2011 15:35

GettinTrimmer · 02/02/2011 15:55

ewwwwwww..... Grin

smokinaces · 02/02/2011 16:23

you guys just cheered up my day!

Had a nice lunch - had the stuffed mushrooms and a jacket with salad, no butter or mayo. But, did indulge in ice cream. ooops. It was free though, and I couldnt turn down free icecream. Did 30minutes on the stepper last night - looks like an hour tonight to make up for the ice cream!!!

I cant think of a food that makes me fart, but apples make me burp?!!

GettinTrimmer · 02/02/2011 17:09

I am Envy smokin I think yeast/bread might do it with me, and I love bread...

You would have burnt off that ice cream

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2011 17:57

Pmsl piste - be thankful I didn't give you a cupcake lol

I'm trying so hard to be good - friend is eating a hama dn cheese panni and dc eating cheese pizza and tomarto pasta with cheese

'blondes bites her pear and chomps apple'

Murtette · 02/02/2011 20:00

I'm definitely going to make parsnip and apple soup soon. Sounds yummy.

I was having an excellent day yesterday but then the train home got delayed so I was starving when I got in and had some of DP's pork pie and a sliver of fruit cake whilst waiting for dinner.

Had an OK day today - oat so for breakfast; BNS & feta salad for lunch; slice of fruit cake and having chicken with 0pt veg for supper (was going to have rice but used up the points on fruit cake - naughty murtette!).

I must be getter thinner despite not actually losing weight because I kept having to hitch my trousers up at work yesterday. Not sure what I'm going to do about them as you can't wear them with a belt but the next size down will be far too night.

smokinaces · 02/02/2011 20:36

Done 30 minutes on stepper and just had a low fat yogurt for tea as am still stuffed from lunch!

Murtette, wierdly I am losing weight, and clothes are mostly fitting better and I have lost inches in places. but I took photos tonight of me before my gym workout, and compared to the same photos taken a month ago and I honestly wouldnt be able to tell the difference, definately not a stone's worth anyway. Weight works in weird ways.

Murtette · 02/02/2011 21:32

Smokin - do you have a stepper at home or do you go to the gym? DP and I have just been talking about getting an exercise bike or something when we move. Going to the gym now is too late but I could sit on a bike and watch TV rather than just slump on the sofa.

Bebe/Pretty/Gettin and all other resident cooks - I need suggestions for a healthy pud for Sunday as we've got friends around. They're really dull eaters so it will have to be something fairly traditional but everything I can think of (like trifle or cheesecake or banoffee pie) is really fattening. Also, I'd prefer not to have too many leftovers as you know who'll eat those! We'll be having roast chicken for main course.

prettybird · 02/02/2011 22:17

Grape Cream

Really easy and relatively healthy.

Lots of green seedless grapes. Put into bowl. Stir in a few generous tablespoons of plain youghurt, together with some dark brown sugar (preferably muscovado, but it doesn't really matter) and mix until all the grapes are coated.

Chill.

Serve.

:)

Looks impressive served in a glass bowl and then into individaul glass dessert bowls. Tastes much more sophisticated than you woul dthink from the simplicity of the ingredients.

The only thing I can think of is a Pavlova? Use creme fraiche on top instead of whipped cream & top with whatever fruit you like. Meringues aren't that bad cals wise IIRC Hmm

Made a lovely quiche yesterday evening for DH & DDs lunches for the next couple of days. Left it cooling on the kitchen counter, came down after putting DD to bed & the bloody cat had eaten a hole in the middle of it!! Angry I was (and still am) LIVID Angry It had been on the side for about 2 1/2 hours before he decided to eat it, just can't believe he did that! So had to throw the whole thing out & got really upset, it's like throwing money in the bin! :(

Plus the grapes I ordered in my Asda shop didn't turn up so now have to ring them to get a refund...I know it's not much but it's the principle. Grapes aren't cheap y'know!! Wink

bebejones · 03/02/2011 08:51

(Re Pavlove: Obviously low fat creme fraiche!!)

GettinTrimmer · 03/02/2011 09:22

Hope you can shut him out of the kitchen bebe, what a pain for you Sad

The only puddings I can think of Murtette - are very fattening ones! I have a low fat cook book will have a look.

I am in the zone, going out for a run in a bit. Beans on toast for breakfast, lunch is celery soup again, ryvitas and egg salad. Don't know about tea yet.

bebejones · 03/02/2011 10:06

Unfortunately can't shut him out of the kitchen, the litter tray is by the back door which is through the kitchen...don't want to shut off that!! Just so cross with the little bugger! So poor DH & DD will have cheese sandwiches again for the next couple of days!

Puddings wise...what about a jelly & fruit terrine? Get packet of raspberry or strawberry sugar free jelly, bag of frozen berries (or mix of fresh berries). Defrost fruits. Make up jelly as per instructions, put some of the fruit in a loaf tin lined with clingfilm (so it overlaps the sides, make sure it's smooth) pour in jelly & chill til set. Dip tin briefly (a few seconds) into very hot water, turn upside down on a plate, use clingfilm to pull terrine out of tin, remove clingfilm. Voila! Serve with the remaining berries & lf creme fraiche or yoghurt!

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/02/2011 10:31

Just back from the dentist, having a crown molded so needed 2 injections bottom left, and then 2 fillings either side of top,so whole face apart from bottom right has been injected and i look bloated and im drooling and dribbling BlushSad

only good thing is that i cant eat at moment Grin

im out sat at tgi and not sure what to eat, think may just blow use all 49 on sat - a jack daniels montery burger is 78pp

'blonde faints'

murtette sounds like you are losing inches so well done:)

smokin well done on stepper

bebe *BAD pussy!!!! Shock sounds like my woofa at work - nothing is safe from him,rem my 200 cocktail sausages and 50 sausage rolls he ate and bad asda, grapes are yummy but expensive

trimmer well done on being in zone and hopefully we shall los tomorrow, tho im dubious as have eaten all my weekies

im obviously not a cook Grinas i would buy mini desserts from ww/tesco light range or just strawberries and cream (for them) and calorie free sugar for yo

bebejones · 03/02/2011 10:42

Meant to add about terrine, add slightly less water, so make up to 3/4 pint, coz the water content in fruit can make it sloppier!

Blondes - OUCH!!!
I need a filling I think, but putting it off! Blush Have a routine appt in May, but not sure I can leave it that long :(
I love TGI, haven't been in so long! Hope you manage to have something delicious!

Sat on hold on the asda free phone number for 10mins & gave up (I know that's what they want) but I can't sit on hold all day, stuff to do....must get off MN! Hmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/02/2011 13:18

ouch is right - im getting sensation back slowly and need to eat as hungary, so going for something soft like salmon
