Piste: I know I came up with the current title - but I really wasn't feeling inspired this morning - I was trying to think up (and failing) of something along the lines you have come up with.

I like the "2011 Weight Loss Club: Slinkies Striving for a Sylphlike Summer" - but maybe we should keep that for the next thread and go with "2011 Weight Loss Club: Wannabe willowy waifs waiting for warm weather" for the moment.

Remember, I'm in Scotland and summer feels a loooooooong way away. My daffodils are only just starting to come out! Grin

Saffy: I'm not doing WW. I'm using FoodFocus and just trying to cut back generally (at least, I was before and will do again once I manage to get back in the Zone Blush) - and try to up the proportion of protein I eat and keep with low(er) GI food. I was am also doing the Shred and had started running again.

I'm also trying to cut back on the wine - but that is being made difficult by dh starting to supply some fantastic wine made by a friend of ours Hmm

I'm with Pretty! At the rate we go through threads we'll be through the Summer one before Summer is here! My vote is 'W' one first!

My lovely friend has said I can do the poem reading at her wedding instead of the reading we had at my dad's funeral! To save me blubbing & wrecking it! Much more confindant about that! :)

Think I am going to get the blue spotty version of the Boden dress...it's more 'me' than the flowers & the predominant white on the floral one probably wouldn't be very flattering! Just got to find shoes, cardi & hat.........

laughalot · 28/03/2011 15:56

I am happy with any title Grin. Im going to zumba
tonight so im going to give my ass a good shake hee hee. There is a downside to this weekend I am in london with my friend we are watching a show so that means probably lots of food and wine boo.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 16:16

we are not called garden of england for nothing - flowers are out and its sunny here Grin

bebejones · 28/03/2011 16:41

Sunny here too! :o Lots of flowers, my magnolia is looking beautiful!

Right....I have changed my mind again re dress. And am going to go with the blue floral one (mainly coz I can't find anything that I like to go with the spotty one!)

Soooooooooo ...What do we think about these shoes & this fascinator?

prettybird · 28/03/2011 16:52

Shoes look lovely - plus the wee platform means that the heel is not actually as high IYSWIM. Plus it looks like it is made of cork, so that will be a wee bit cushioned.

You're going to look really elegant :) Envy

love the dress and shoes, not sure about the hairband, but i dont do those - unless boppers for ones hen do Grin

laughalot shake your thang tonight :)

bebejones · 28/03/2011 17:13

I don't do hats but I feel the outfit needs head gear!! Plus DD has a hairband to wear with her dress & I hoped that if I had something similar she might be persauded to keep it on! Hmm I wanted a fascinator that was predominantly woven but didn't look like a flying saucer!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 17:48

Shall we go for ...

"2011 Weight Loss Club: Wannabe Willowy Waifs Waiting for Warmer Weather"
Then?

I've changed warm weather to warmer weather cos Mre Pretty lives in Scotland and it may actually never get warm there??!! Joking Pretty, I've been to Scotland in a heatwave!!

Yay or nay?

Lovely outfit, fascinator subtle, some as you say are like flying saucers! I like the blue spotty dress too, but would urge you to get on with it, Boden is notorious for selling out, and that could easily be a classic sell out style. Just get it as soon as you can!

DD has just got home and vommed everywhere ( well in the loo ) Sad she said she felt dreadful on the train but managed to hold out until she got off and was sick in the bushes too. Lawks. Am hoping that it was some junk she ate and not a bug. She is hardly ever ill, never takes days off school. We shall see what happens. How quickly can food poisoning come on? Trying to work this out.

And Mrs B, my p one wasn't rubbish ( tempted to punch B on the nose ) it was.............. pathetically pants Grin

bebejones · 28/03/2011 18:38

A few hours for food poisoning I reckon. If you think about people going out for evening dinner then being up all night with it. Grim! Poor DD Piste :(

I is waiting for some money to get dress, we have a massive outstanding gas bill Blush that comes first! :(

I say yay on thread title!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 18:43

title fine as i cant think of any Grin

piste poor dd :(

bebejones · 28/03/2011 18:48

Got sent catalogue today, just seen this

prettybird · 28/03/2011 19:02

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 19:35

Bebe - like the pattern on the Boden one, rather than the plain blue, it's more weddingy somehow.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 19:44
