I am expecting a delivery of Foundayo tomorrow. Is there anyone else out there?

So I’ve had a message to say my next lot of tablets (going up to 2.5mg) should be with me on the 23rd. I have 0.8mg left to last me until 2 weeks past that. Do I continue with the 0.8mg until they’re used up? Or switch straight to the higher dose? Thought I’d ask here before messaging them!

SilenceInside · 17/09/2026 13:44

@MingingRunnersFeet You're supposed to take the full set of 30 tablets before moving up. Was there no patient information leaflet sent with the tablets, or did the pharmacy not email you any patient support information about dosing and schedules?

MingingRunnersFeet · 17/09/2026 13:48

Didn’t even think to look at the leaflet! Thanks for the reply! 😂 I was sent a couple of videos to watch, maybe I should watch again!

SilenceInside · 17/09/2026 13:55

@MingingRunnersFeet are you with a subscription service? You might need to pause or extend the time frame of your next prescription if you are two weeks ahead of needing the next set of tablets. Out of interest, did the pharmacy just assume you’d want 2.5mg or did they check with you how you’re doing on the 0.8mg?

Cantonet · 17/09/2026 14:03

I'm one week in and can't stop eating. I don't think it's doing anything for me yet.

MingingRunnersFeet · 17/09/2026 16:48

@SilenceInsideyes I have signed up to the subscription service. They didn’t ask how I was getting on with the current dose but so far (on day 11), I’ve lost 2lbs. I’m also calorie counting and running/walking/weight training. I probably would have asked to go up a dose anyway. I wonder if they’re sending out early to make sure I get them in plenty of time although they’re on a 24 hour delivery time frame.

Loveab123 · 17/09/2026 22:15

@Cantonet I was the same the first week. 10 days in and I'm having to remember to eat and I can only manage small amounts. No side effects for me either which is a huge bonus since MJ made me pretty ill. I'm around 4 pounds down in 10 days, happy with how it's going so far!

slowlyshifting · 18/09/2026 06:11

@Cantonet I am only on 0.8mg and have been finding very little difference so far, mind you, I didn't to begin with on Mounjaro. I guess that it takes longer to build up in some people than others.

@Loveab123 well done on your progress!

Fazabulous · 18/09/2026 13:31

Reporting back. I have lost 1.2kg in 8 days. Yesterday I really noticed I wasn’t hungry at lunchtime. It was very weird.
For what it’s worth, I’m finding the Voy app really helpful. Big focus on fibre and protein, which I think probably accounts for dropping a couple of pounds as much as the tablets (still 0.8mg). But at least it’s progress

Cantonet · 20/09/2026 13:26

I'm now on day 11 and I'm not hungry. Suppression started yesterday but it didn't stop me snacking in the evening. It was crunchy lettuce with feta sauce but still calorific.

Just started my long-planned 4 week post-retirement trip to Greece and Japan. I am well stocked-up on Foundayo. However, my usual maintenance strategy is twice daily weighing Monday to Thursday - so that’s out of the window. It’ll be fascinating to see what the scales say when I finally return home !

Callmejudith · Today 08:35

@CheeryGoldHiker have a wonderful time!

Not much to report here - suppression good but not as strong as MJ. Looking forward to seeing what the higher dose brings!

I have to say the convenience of taking a pill is amazing and they're small enough to swallow with no drink

slowlyshifting · Today 11:50

19 days on 0.8mg and suppression still non-existent for me (put on lb this week). It's tempting to double up but I don't want to induce any side effects, so I am waiting until I move up. At the moment it feels like a waste of money but it is a low dose so hopefully things will improve next month.🤔
Still well done to those who are already starting to feel the benefit.

Online information:
The 0.8mg tablet is designed to minimize side effects while your system gets used to the medication. Many people feel little to no difference in appetite or "food noise" at this initial level.

Keep going ! 2.5mg is working really well for me with no side effects now. Hoping it will be the same for you.
