I am expecting a delivery of Foundayo tomorrow. Is there anyone else out there?

I’ve just ordered. I lost 3 stone on MJ and maintained for a year but I can feel it creeping back on though I have had a very indulgent summer.

MJ worked brilliantly for me and I never went above 5mg so I’m hoping my body reacts well to the pills

Two pills in , after a week away from MJ. Usual appetite suppression so far on 2.5mg Foundayo. Nothing unusual to report so far, but early days.

It varied. Mostly 2.5mg - but more recently 3.75mg after a short spell on 5. Because of that variance, don’t second guess comparable doses using my experience.

I have tried MJ three times. It worked great for weightloss but i could not take the side effects, especially the tiredness/irritability when having a high energy toddler. Im thinking of going for foundayo and hoping the side effects are not as bad. I don't mind the weight loss being a bit slower as loosing alot of weight on MJ in a short space of time triggered hairloss for me. So following along for updates.

Mine has been delivered - looking forward to starting in the morning. I need to persuade DH to try it too….

Day two and not much to report - no side effects and I do feel like the food noise has reduced but that could also very much be a placebo effect.

After a couple of years on MJ, my weight loss had stalled but I suddenly started gettin g side effects. I used the click-counting method to titrate down in hopes of improving symptoms and kick-starting g a response - no joy. So I was seriously interested in Foundayo, thinking that MJ was doing no more than allowing me to maintain anyway, and the pills would have fewer side effects. In fact, on paper they cause more side effects so I am rather stuck. I am watching g with interest to see how you all get on

Nothing at all for two years. Then one evening I did overeat, and eat very late, and had a week nearly of vomiting and then diarrhoea.

hooed this was unrelated, but every week since I have had at least one day of really bad acid indigestion or diarrhoea, despite titrating down to half the dose I was on originally.

I'm not sure where you read that. My understanding is that because Orforglipron is GLP only (as opposed to GLP + GIP in Tirzepatide) then the exact opposite is more likely to be true.

That’s also my first impression. Much as I loved the weight loss with Mounjaro, there was one huge downside for me - lethargy during the day and early waking in the morning. I’d wake at 4 every day then feel incredibly sleepy at lunchtime. Plus if I had the opportunity to go out and do something fun, I’d choose to stay in. All of these things were abnormal to me and coincided with me starting Mounjaro.

A week in and I simply can’t fall asleep at lunchtime even if I try (I’m just retired !) and I’m also sleeping through until 7 or later. Plus I already feel a bit more positive about social stuff.

So - early days still, but only positives from me. Weight - unchanged.

Same, tried MJ couldn't stop vomiting. Tried wegovy and have awful nausea, and always felt like crying. Am going to order Foundayo, will share how I get on.

Ok. A week completed on 2.5mg Foundayo.

Those early changes continue - I’m not feeling sleepy during the day and I’m sleeping better at night. I was constipated during the week, but that wasn’t unusual on MJ either. All ok now.

As to appetite - it seems a little keener, but not excessively so. Actually, that’s a good thing in my case, it’s nice to be a little bit more interested in eating rather than having that dull disinterest. And of course, I’m on a low dose of FD. I suspect I could get that totally under control if I went up to 5.5mg.

Weight - unchanged. As I’m maintaining (one year anniversary in 7 days time !) after a 2 stone loss, then that’s absolutely fine by me.

I’m just about to reorder and my current thinking is to stick with 2.5mg.

I was away this weekend and took a tablet Saturday morning but not Sunday. Sunday I was definitely hungrier.

A huge thing for me on MJ was how much I went off alcohol. Too early I think to tell if the same will apply with Foundayo but I'm hopeful.

We need an acronym - maybe FD?

Took my first pill midday yesterday, felt okay. Could still eat my dinner. I don't eat huge meals anyway, it's more the snacking in between. Had a good sleep and woken up fine this morning. So far, no major side effects...Long may it continue!

I'm also thinking about starting Foundayo.
I took my last dose of 12.5 mounjaro 3 weeks ago. So what dose of Foundayo would I need to start on?🙏🏼

After just a few days on this, I don’t really think we are the right people to ask. One for your provider.
