I am expecting a delivery of Foundayo tomorrow. Is there anyone else out there?

I knew there would be a group for this! Just ordered starter month from Voy.
£69/month for the first month but then goes up a bit
Other issue

Is that half my post got lost 😆
I haven’t used WLI before. BMI is just over 27 but my knee is struggling and I’m prediabetic, so I think I qualify

After just a few days on this, I don’t really think we are the right people to ask. One for your provider.

Welcome!

Welcome!

Thank you 😂

Cantonet · 08/09/2026 21:55

@CheeryGoldHiker probably very sensible.

Callmejudith · 09/09/2026 09:32

Id been off MJ for a year so started on 0.8.

I’m a week in. The food noise “cut off” is definitely not as strong as MJ but it’s there. I had been snacking terribly and that’s stopped this week.

I prefer to go by clothes rather than weight so have selected the pair of trousers that I’ll be using as my judge!

Gengha · 09/09/2026 09:53

I’ve ordered foundayo, I’ll see how I get on. If it works great and if not I’ll just go back to MJ.

MingingRunnersFeet · 09/09/2026 09:56

I started 0.8mg, had second dose today. Probably way too early for any results though. No side affects yet. Never done any weigh loss medication before. Terrified of needles so the tablets were ideal.

CheeryGoldHiker · 09/09/2026 10:51

Yes - welcome all !

I think it’s worth reiterating the suggestion that FD may be most effective as a maintenance option. But it’s great to see people giving it a go for primary weight loss too. If it can achieve both, then this will be the game-changer - subject to cost of course.

MingingRunnersFeet · 10/09/2026 11:24

Took my 4th dose this morning. Miscounted when I said I’d taken my 2nd yesterday. Today is the first day I’ve not felt as hungry as usual. Up till now I was hungry within an hour or 2 of eating! I’m still eating when I should (I’m calorie counting alongside the Foundayo) but not watching the clock counting down to my next meal!

Cantonet · 10/09/2026 20:40

I took my first dose today & found it's definitely put me off alcohol which is interesting. I wasn't expecting it to have any affect at this initial dose as I've been on varying injectables for years.

slowlyshifting · 11/09/2026 10:12

I have had my 8th tablet this morning (0.8) and don't feel as though it has made any difference, yet, just as hungry and wanting to snack as normal. On the plus side, no obvious side effects.

I was on Mounjaro injections and I lost about 3 1/2 stone but I stopped those when I reached my goal weight over 6 months ago. Since then, I have put about half a stone back on which I am keen to lose, especially as I bought all new clothes
(I have to say, that the injections made me feel quite unwell; lethargic and an upset stomach. )

Fazabulous · 11/09/2026 10:23

Day one here

Remember that the 0.8mg is simply the starter dose, presumably a precaution against side effects. Hopefully the move up to 2.5mg will prove more effective for you.

I’ve taken 12 tablets now. The”bunged up” issues continue, a little more so than MJ I’d say. On the plus side, still no IBS ! Sleep a bit better than on MJ.

My blood pressure is also ideal now for the first time in many years. Could I even be able to stop my BP medication? One for the future - it’s still very early days - but something I’ll keep an eye on.

Weight = unchanged.

Cantonet · 11/09/2026 12:34

These drugs reduce IBS & inflammation for me.
The 3 weeks after I stopped Mounjaro my IBS returned and my stomach was swollen. I had forgotten what it's like having an upset tummy all the time. I think I also had Covid at the same time though, which might have exacerbated things.
I couldn't sleep last night after the first dose and just didn't feel sleepy at all until very late. I've taken the tablet earlier today to see if it's any better.

Loveab123 · 11/09/2026 23:27

5th dose for me on 0.8. I have used MJ in the past but had unpleasant side effects (which probably contributed to the weightloss). So far no side effects at all and today I have not felt hungry. Before now I was hungry for the usual breakfast, lunch and dinner but no interest in snacking in between which is ideal for me. See how it goes over the weekend.

Callmejudith · 14/09/2026 13:08

Almost 2 weeks in. Food noise definitely lower but it hasn't put me off booze like MJ did which is a shame!

Throughout this month I have a lot of social events so I am not expecting my weight to go down at all but it would be great to maintain.

YouAreEffluentKim · 14/09/2026 18:56

Following this thread as I’ve been maintaining on MJ since March 2025 - 5mg. I’m considering foundayo for continued maintenance and primarily for finance reasons. Injecting doesn’t phase me and I’ve had a generally very positive experience on MJ since I started in March 2024.

My biggest concern and reason for following closely is that the pills aren’t as good for inflammation as MJ and that if I try it and then decide to go back to MJ, that it won’t be as effective as I’ve found it to date. I’ve read many accounts of people who came off MJ and then went back on it only to find it wasn’t as effective the second time around.

Anyway, thank you pioneers! I’ll be following your journeys

MingingRunnersFeet · 14/09/2026 22:49

Took my 8th tablet this morning. Still no side effects. Today is the first day that I’ve come home from work and not wanted to actually eat. I’m calorie counting alongside the tablets and I’m often starving by the end of my shift. I’m a bit peckish tonight, but not enough to be bothered about rummaging in cupboards!

Callmejudith · 15/09/2026 08:20

@MingingRunnersFeetare you on 0.8? I definitely think it needs a good week to build up in your system. I’m 2 weeks in and yesterday realised I was purely eating lunch out of habit! With MJ I was almost immediately not hungry

MingingRunnersFeet · 15/09/2026 10:28

Yeah 0.8. Took my 9th this morning.

CheeryGoldHiker · 15/09/2026 12:20

Good to see that most people seem to be getting on well.

Two weeks in. I’m finding 2.5mg FD is as good as 2.5mg MJ. That is, in terms of suppression, positive side effects and weight maintenance. It’s also cheaper and I can take it on holiday with me without pre-planning.

Job done as far as I’m concerned.

How many tablets do you get per order?
