Yep I think it’s fine as long as you have a current prescription. It is harder if you have a long break I think and then try to get it again and your BMI is lower.

Just taken my first 5mg dose. I was gonna do 50 clicks for another step towards it (did 3.75mg last week) but my husband was telling me to just go for it so I did! Hopefully I’ll be fine as I am up and out early for work tomorrow! Will report back 😊

dose 12 just taken and another kg ooff this morning which I am very happy about as Im in the 12 stone bracket now (and hopefully not for long) BMI heading towards the 30 mark - does anyone know if it gets tricky to source pens once you go below 30? I am still on 2.5mg and just taken my second dose from my first 5mg pen, and I have a 7.5mg heading my way from Bolt who are obviously blissfully unaware that I golden dosed and am now click counting.

I THOUGHT I was going to get my referral code used by my sister, but sadly she had trouble with uploading photos, so has gone with a different supplier

so I will be looking on monj I suspect for the next one, although this is the time of year Im working more, so may be worth stocking up while I can, and seeing if I can persuade anyone to use my Bolt referral!!

starting weight 94kg
current weight 82.1 kg

target weight 60 kg

I have one for Numan, 100 off. Just drop a message here if you want it. No pressure though, I’ve got a stockpile and don’t need a discount on mine so if someone else can give you a code then better to use that so both benefit

Great job so far

Thank you. I'm trying to remember that slow and steady wins the race!

Tulipwood · 13/07/2026 08:39

1.5lb off this week for me on top of my holiday gain. Happy with that.

5mg pen arrived this week but I think I’m gonna go 3.75mg again given Wednesdays antics

Hi guys. Has anyone experienced bloating with a warm, sharpish wave travelling along the left lowest rib? It's clearly my digestion and it started about a week after my first jab. Im so bloated and constantly have trapped wind but this heat is something ive not experienced before.

I've had a full feeling despite not eating very much, but not that specific pain. The pain in the left, upper quadrant could be your stomach. Mounjaro delays gastric emptying, so I think food can sit there much longer than normal. I don't know what you are eating, but maybe try eating smaller amounts, more often, rather than larger meals?

yes its a gassy wind type thing, due to slower movement through the digestive system - I use things like peppermint, fennel, ginger, chamomile, and cinnamon to help settle in prescriptions I make for my herbal clients (am a qualified medical herbalist) but the most important thing is to keep your digestive tract moving - as someone who was always a bit the other way I found the advice on here to have a daily kiwi fruit really has helped - and plenty of water.

it can also be part of the colon, as it ascends up the right side, crosses over the top of the intesines to the left side, then down the left and does a little up and down before finally exiting. There could be a bit of a blockage so things like psillium seed or fibrogel, or if it continues speak to a pharmacist about some stool softening. I think we have all struggled a little when we start and our systems change, plus its been pretty hot again the last week which doesnt help with rehydration

Hillsmakeyoustrong · 13/07/2026 18:34

Thanks all 🙏. Im actually more regular on mounjaro weirdy and go daily even though im eating less.

Now im on 2.5mg, im actually only managing around 1300 calories a day (probably half of what i used to eat!) and Im wondering if its the combo of massively reduced calories and eating lots of fruit and raw veg means fermenting foods. The heat travels, like wind does, but i feel more heat than pain.

Thanks @NettleTea im not drinking enough thats for sure. And I'll look at some peppermint teas.

madeinthe80z · 13/07/2026 19:15

Well I promised I would report back on how my 5mg dose went….

so I took 3.75 last week to transition, and I would say that the difference I felt was negligible. However, the 5mg has seen a massive improvement in suppression! So much so, I haven’t really gotten round to eating a great deal today. To be fair I have been so busy in work, so I had a smoothie on the way in (made with protein yoghurt) and I had a Babybel and a chicken thigh for lunch. Just about the have chicken in a protein wrap, not sure how much I will get in but I am currently very pleased with how it’s gone today.

tomorrow I am hoping to be a bit less busy so I will ensure I will eat regularly as not eating is not the aim of this game but today was a very good introduction and test of the 5mg. No food noise. No hunger, 10/10!

I have done my 3rd 5mg a day early … I was hovering around the kitchen all evening opening and closing doors so I said feck it , enough !!!
quick question . Anyone else losing a lot of hair 😱😱. I am getting a bit worried . Last time I lost weight about 18 years ago I also lost hair so I know it’s the weight loss and not the MJ . I bought biotin hair supplements stuff from boots today Hoping it helps

You need to keep your protein up

Hillsmakeyoustrong · 13/07/2026 23:46

@mollio agree with @MrsO2b

I have been told thats more about a lack of protein/nutrients than the weight loss itself.

mollio · 13/07/2026 23:56

Yes I am going to have more of an effort on the protein - I am not eating enough I know that for sure . Only some beef in stroganoff , 2 eggs , sometimes cheese and or Greek yoghurt . Milk in coffee …. I can’t stomach protein powder at all . I do like when I make a nice dry but spiced chicken thigh with peri peri . I made them last week ….. I might try protein water - the name even makes me gag 😆

You need protein to make new hair, skin cells, etc. so you need to keep the levels up

mollio · 15/07/2026 11:53

A warning to everyone - do NOT do your newly increased 5mg dose a day early , thinking it’s a great idea and the suppression will be amazing because you were able to eat and didn’t feel like dying the past week …. Don’t do it !!!
I took my 3rd 5mg a day early , had two glasses of Prosecco and some nice snacks last night ( 24 hours later ) and last night and this morning feel like death …. Stupid me !!!

Borededd · 15/07/2026 13:43

Week 9&10 combined due to holiday and 2.8 loss for me.

Tulipwood · 15/07/2026 19:15

I’ve just been doing some online window shopping and I can’t wait to buy what I actually like vs what fits me.

NettleTea · 15/07/2026 23:11

Ive bought an aspirational dress from Toast. Im currently fitting their 18s but they are getting loose. The dress I like people are saying to size down as its coming up big. Ive gone for a 12. Im hoping it will be achievable by end of summer, depending how volumous it is, and WHEN (not IF) I get to target, well it can be cinched and Ive always liked baggy layers......

Ok proper update from me. Holiday gain gone, plus an extra 4.4lbs in the week since I got back. I was hoping that would be the case because I did eat to a deficit and did more walking. Looks like I had lost fat while I was away but just carried a lot more water weight.

Time since start: 10 weeks 1 day
SW: 270
CW: 235.2
GW: 168
Stretch GW: 140

Start BMI: 43.6
Current BMI: 38.0

Total loss: 34.8lbs

NettleTea · 18/07/2026 10:00

the toast dress arrived and I can actually get into it. It is a bit snug on the boobs. I just wanted to see how 'over sized' for a 12 it was so I was surprised. Im definitely not a size 12 by any stretch, especially in the waist, and its too snug in the boobs to be flattering yet, but its amazing to see that I COULD wear it in the not too distant future

TeamsThemeTune · 18/07/2026 10:55

That's a real confidence booster @NettleTea ! I hate pretty much everything in the shops at the moment (why is every top cropped and/or puff-sleeved? I don't need any help looking any wider than I am.) I did buy a cheap pair of wide floaty sort of cheesecloth trousers this week, but I haven't even tried them on yet for fear of disappointment.

Weigh-in day for me today and 0.75kg /1.65lbs off this week, which I'm quite surprised by as I've had quite a bit of alcohol this week.

Total loss 8.4kg / 18.52lbs in 9 weeks.

I'm just 1.5lbs away from being in the TENS!!! and BMI is 25.1 - so close!

I caught sight of myself in the mirror in shorts pants and a bra this morning, and there are fewer bulges and my stomach is definitely not as "Henry VIII" as it was, so finally I can see some changes.

Ah you are getting so close. Whats the final goal?

When I was younger I was 10st but nice and slim for it, I’m praying I can get there but I’d settle for 12 I think (ask me again when I’m there 😂).

As for the changes, they’re probably huge but we get so used to judging ourselves don’t we. I know there is a massive difference for me after 2.5st loss, but since I wanted to lose 7st I’m still HUGE so I find it hard to take any positives. I’m sure you look great, and definitely healthier!
