Honestly @Boreded I think we can get too hung up on the scales. One or two weeks' gain means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Even naturally slim people gain a few pounds on holiday. What's the point of going away if you can't cut loose a little?

A quick update for anyone thinking of moving up to 5mg . I took the 5 on Tuesday evening and have been much better this time around . Last week I took 5 from the golden dose of my 5 pen , but maybe I inadvertently syringed too much and I used a longer insulin needle , so maybe that has an influence on effectiveness …..not sure but I was sick as a dog for a week ! So either I overdosed or maybe I built up my tolerance and it’s ok again now . Either way I am relieved , excellent suppression but can still eat a little and not just carbs this time . So perhaps that’s a caution to be careful to measure your golden dose really really well ( especially if you have bad eyesight like me !!)

Don’t worry about a few pounds post holiday - I was the same , it was gone in a week . Probably just water weight plus a bit more food / booze and sitting on a plane .

I gained 2lbs on holiday. Landed on Tuesday and it’s already gone. It’s not real weight so lots of water and getting back to it sorts it out

Yeah it’s just annoying isn’t it. But I didn’t over indulge. The last two days I ate a bit more and had a few drinks though, and the couple of days before I went on holiday I was very empty and dehydrated so I expect it is mostly digestive system changes. I expect I’ll be back to normal by Sunday morning, Monday at the latest

Also it was down this morning so I was 2.6lb up for the holiday

That’s an amazing result from a holiday! I think last year, I was up about 7lb!

Good experience with Bolt (I was worried because I've read very mixed reviews). Ordered Tuesday night (not too many hoops to jump through), approved Wednesday, dispatched Thursday and arrived today.

I particularly liked the packaging - shoe box size, in a plain black plastic bag with no massive 'refrigerate on receipt' sticker and not cold to the touch, which allowed me to convince my nosy son it was a pair of sandals. Although what I'm going to do with yet another sharps bin I don't know - Why don't they ask you if you want one? Such a waste of plastic.

I didn’t get one and I ordered from them this week. I got 5mg so I wonder if it’s the dose you order?

I never thought about that, you may be right, although I didn't get one from my first supplier.

Total loss 7.65kg / 16.85lbs in 8 weeks.

Going on holiday in 6 weeks, if I can get another 11lbs off by then, that will be the 2 stone mark. Losing at an average of 2lbs a week, so I think it's doable.

Apart from the awful gastro problems for one night 3.75mg seems to be the sweet spot for me. I feel great!

Another pound off today so only up 1.6 now. I had hoped that I would have a net 0 by the next weigh in (Wednesday) - basically one week of gain for the holiday followed by one week to reset. Might get lucky and get a smidge of a loss in.

Thats good to know. My recent order was with IQ doctor, using the code on the Monj site. My BMI is still well over 30 so switching isn’t a problem. I guess when it gets to 27 or so it will be harder to do, but TBH if I get stuck at 27 forever I will be delighted. I was 34 at one point! Never again… 😁

BMI is just under 30 which is nice to see. Have ordered another 5mg pen as cannot face risking side effects as I keep having a runny tummy

Haven’t posted for a while as I’ve been on holiday. Thankfully no shitty waiters where I was! Weighed on Friday when back and was up 3lbs from before I went away. Weighed this morning which is my usual logging day and was 1lb less than before I went away. Delighted with that. Didn’t track calories on holiday. And drank lots of wine! But I was more mindful about what I ate and did lots of swimming and walking. Now back to tracking and intermittent fasting.

Well done on all the losses. My next mini goal is another 6lbs off so I’d join @JojoButBetter and @janif in the overweight category. Haven’t been there for years!

dose 12 just taken and another kg ooff this morning which I am very happy about as Im in the 12 stone bracket now (and hopefully not for long) BMI heading towards the 30 mark - does anyone know if it gets tricky to source pens once you go below 30? I am still on 2.5mg and just taken my second dose from my first 5mg pen, and I have a 7.5mg heading my way from Bolt who are obviously blissfully unaware that I golden dosed and am now click counting.

I THOUGHT I was going to get my referral code used by my sister, but sadly she had trouble with uploading photos, so has gone with a different supplier

so I will be looking on monj I suspect for the next one, although this is the time of year Im working more, so may be worth stocking up while I can, and seeing if I can persuade anyone to use my Bolt referral!!

As far as I’m aware as long as you have proof of a previous prescription it’s easy to switch providers. Think it’s trickier when you get below BMI 27
