Why, why, WHY do I always get hungry on Day 5?? It's like a cliff-edge. Day 4: strong suppression. Day 5: Waking up hungry.

Just ordered my third pen - I've gone for 2.5mg again, mainly because I'm scared of going up, and 2.5 is working pretty well. Although I hear you @PuppyKeepon the day 5 hunger! But I am able to ignore it mostly.

Praying for an efficient approval and delivery this time round.

I've gone with Bolt this time - have a £40 referral if anyone wants it.

Although I will be trying the golden dose this week - if I manage to force the pen, do I just whack on a needle and inject whatever's there? I guess it's more than 2.5, so I might regret that! I'm not fannying about with insulin needles.

@TeamsThemeTune From memory, you are my twin as started on the same day in May. Any reason you ordered another 2.5mg pen and not a 5mg one and use clicks to work out the dose? You'd then get 8ish doses from the 5mg pen rather than just 4ish. I'm still only half way through my 2nd pen by doing this.

Yeah - I'm doing it in secret (because reasons), so can't keep it in the fridge.

Stupid really, but I cant face the judgement from him indoors. And he'd probably tell his bloody mother, and then everyone would know!

it works exactly the same, once you’ve forced the pen, you click round to the “1” therefore administering a 2.5mg dose, it doesn’t give you any more unless you extract it with a syringe

Well I was feeling much better today and was able to eat all around me ( which I did …) but it was also my jab day and I have gone ahead and done a 5mg dose . I HOPE I don’t have deep regret about that decision…. Will see tomorrow what’s what . Those of you who went up to 5mg , how many weeks did it take to settle , or are you like me and a bit pukey still ? I have a wedding on 18th so I wanted to try to get another 2 lbs off if possible before then . 🤞🤞

teamstheme - yes I agree with buying the bigger pen if you could as it’s much better value . Have a think about what you could stick it into - does he do the cooking ? Maybe an ingredient like tomato puree box ? ( or even leave it in a friend or family’s fridge ? )

Hi folks, haven’t read whole thread so forgive me if this has been said. I’ve ordered 5mg pen for third pen. Due to start it tomorrow. Interested in the concept of doing smaller doeses to get 3.75mg. Do I do that by simply not clicking the pen all the way to 1? Main question is… my pens have only come with 4 nibs. So how do I get more nibs for each pen?

I accidently posted on the old thread about it because some stupid not revived it

I ordered a 5mg pen and have been using the 'click method'. Here is a link to the calculation. Put in your pen strength (5mg) and how many mg you want and it tells you how many 'clicks'. You then just count the clicks till you get there, then inject that amount. Keep a record so you know what is left. I've done this 3x times now (3mg, 3mg, 4mg) and all seemed fine.

I have the same issue though with not enough nibs. I'm going to look on amazon or some of the health supplies shops to see what I can get.

Yeah it was someone trying to sell their book. Reported it and now it has gone
