Hey you guys. I’m with you in the total frustration of the incredibly slow progress. It’s taken me nine weeks to lose the last three lbs.

But… re the scaling down/stopping, I was on 12.5mg for two months (with very little achievement) and decided to titrate off. I took 10mg the following week, then spread the jabs out to at least 10 day gaps, occasionally more. I then took 9mg, the. 8mg, then 7mg and will take 6mg this weekend. I intend to keep going down. My only concern is I’ve already had 6 weeks out of this pen and I’ll get at least another six weeks out of it at this rate, which is about three times longer than a pen is meant to be used.

However… I’ve had no increase in food noises or appetite (always have had those right the way through). And I lost a lb last week and another this week- so things might be starting to move along again. I should hope so, I’m doing a lot of extra exercise. And that is with a holiday last week and a birthday, where I’ve had several meals out, a couple of desserts and ice creams for good measure. I did try to make healthy choices, but where we were wasn’t particularly good for veggie, healthy offerings.
As usual I’m waffling, but I’m trying to say that it can carry on when you lower the dose and come off it. I think it’s a little less upsetting if it takes a while and you haven’t spent the money on a pen. Obviously you have to keep trying and keep positive. And that’s where this group is fabulous. I think it’s one of the most supportive groups on the WLI page. You guys are awesome. 😘😘

HereIGoOnceMore · 30/06/2026 14:41

Joining in with the appreciation for everyone’s awesomeness. I’m not posting much now as there is nothing to say - as I’m keeping on keeping on - which is a NSV in itself. And a novelty.

Sorry to those of you with challenges at the moment. I hope they unwrinkle soon.

Foreveronaplane · 30/06/2026 22:32

This weight loss malarkey is tough .. financially, emotionally, physically. All those commentators who think WLI are ‘cheating’ have no idea. The personal motivation to keep ‘jabbing’ even when the scales aren't moving downwards can be hard to find .. but then i open MN and read all the positive supportive comments - the empathy from this group and i feel encouraged & reminded of how much we have collectively achieved. Thank you all - i know you have all helped me stay focused when i may otherwise have given up. Hang in there .. even when you reach the time to stop jabbing .. please stay connected. Together we are stronger!!

HKG · 01/07/2026 07:47

Given so many of us are having a bit of a struggle, I wonder if anyone is up for putting your total weight loss to date down and we add them all up? I bet it’s pretty phenomenal what we achieved collectively!

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 07:52

It’s a flippin’ full time job , isn’t it !

I get soooooooo cross 😡 with ignorant idiots people saying the jabs are an instant fix , and we can sit on our backsides stuffing our faces with all sorts whilst the weight magically drops off.
Which is more or less what I’ve been doing since we got here …. 🏝️.

BUT then (albeit less often than I’d like) I’ll have a really good day - lots of walking, striding around in the waves (not a swimmer unfortunately) and sensible food decisions.
Challenges unwrinkled, as @HereIGoOnceMore so eloquently puts it !

Think you may have given us another rallying cry, @Foreveronaplane -

Together we are stronger !!! 💪

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 08:00

@HKG - excellent idea.
When I reached my goal weight I’d lost a total of 4 stone and 9 pounds.

Mixture of dieting alone (calorie counting, meal replacements, intermittent starving and frequent tumbles off the wagon ), MJ (my saviour) and then joining Weightwatchers nearing the end , to keep me on the straight and narrow and give me accountability.

HKG · 01/07/2026 08:46

@ElsieJay yeah! You and me together have lost 127lbs! That’s just two of us!

who’s next?!

Megsdaughter · 01/07/2026 09:50

Im still going to plod on. Even after losing 7st 3lb Im still in the obese catogory 8.8lb to reach the overweight catogory and 2st 9lb to healthy. So slow going now but I really want to keep going.

DBatteryBand · 01/07/2026 11:59

You can add me to the total - 104lbs. This is a good idea, as I find I get so caught up on agonising over the scales that I forget I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight already.

Take courage, all. We are already a bevvy of racing snakes compared to how we were in May 2025.

HKG · 01/07/2026 16:43

So adding @Megsdaughter and @DBatteryBand that brings our running total to: 332lbs!!! (150kg and over 23 stone)!!!

come on, let’s keep going!!! Who else??

Foreveronaplane · 01/07/2026 17:29

57lbs .. 4st 1. Still 7lbs to target.

Kbr22 · 01/07/2026 17:44

3 and a half stone here x

FlorenceNightshade · 01/07/2026 17:46

Love this @HKG I’ve lost about 27kg (it goes up and down by a few!) about 4 stone I think???

Ive been neglecting this thread as real life gets in the way but still read all the updates even if I don’t post much!

Still so proud and inspired by what our collective achievements are. The women who we are today were who perhaps we thought we’d NEVER be! Healthier, more confident, happier…. yes lighter (weights and wallets!) but so much more right?

Love and strength as always to you all

Onwards and downwards ✌️

Very well expressed 👏 xx

Apprenante · 01/07/2026 18:24

Good idea @HKG
64lbs as of today. It was 68 but 2 holidays and taking my eye off the ball ...

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 18:29

@HKG - our running total must be something VERY big on our infamous
“ elephant’s penis “ chart !!
Does anyone have one handy , please so we can check ?

Chart, not penis !!

Kipperandarthur · 01/07/2026 19:56

84lbs in total here. Some of which I did myself prior to Mounjaro. But WLI have done the heavy lifting here.

Gingercar · 01/07/2026 20:20

My horse weighs 1764lbs. He’s the size of a police horse. Can we match him?
I can add 66lbs to the pile.

(can’t believe how much quicker ElsieJay lost the same amount!)

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 20:33

@FlorenceNightshade - many thanks !

@Gingercar - my total loss hasn’t all been since May 2025, I’d been dieting half-heartedly and intermittently on my own before that.
Apologies, didn’t mean to mislead anyone 🫢!
Bear with me , I’ll try to work out my MJ-aided loss ….

2 stone 12lbs : a human leg 🦵!

Gingercar · 01/07/2026 20:41

Ah!
But you’ve lost it. And you’re doing a great job of maintenance too. And encouraging the rest of us. 😘

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 20:47

So far I make it a loss of 687 lbs - would appreciate someone double-checking ! - all related to WLIs .
So that's a Welsh pony , an average adult man ( hopefully not on the pony ), an Irish setter, a bald eagle, a chihuahua and 13 guinea pigs .

Reminds me of the old riddle about going to St Ives and meeting the man with wives, cats and kittens …..

ElsieJay · 01/07/2026 20:49

Particularly like having the guinea pigs in our procession !

I may have had too much a little ouzo this evening …. 🥳
