Oh b***. I ate a whole 100g bar of chocolate this afternoon. It was delicious but I felt a bit sick afterwards.Serves me right.

DBatteryBand · 27/06/2026 22:27

Accidents happen, @Apprenante ! I have accidentally eaten half a tub of ice cream this evening. (I know I'll pay for that tomorrow 😬) We'll be fine. Deep breath, glass of water, think slimming thoughts and carry on.

Gingercar · 27/06/2026 23:19

You’ll be fine. You probably sweated it off this week anyway!

It’s my birthday today and I’ve had half a bottle of Prosecco and cake - on top of all the meals out we had this week on holiday! God knows what the scales will think, it might shock them into moving! I have done a lot of steps and swam lots of lengths every day. So what I’m trying to say is a bar of choc is ok! I’ve probably been worse.

Apprenante · 28/06/2026 11:02

Thank you and 😂😂😂@Gingercar and @DBatteryBand !

I haven't exploded in a shower of chocolate so maybe you're both correct.

I hope you had a very lovely birthday Ginger. Birthdays are certainly reasons to eat cake and drink fizz.

I'm making a large jug of marquisette for pre lunch drinks today but will refrain from too much 'testing' before I serve it. It's a recipe I brought back from France.

Gingercar · 28/06/2026 12:37

Thank you my lovelies. 😘

Kbr22 · 29/06/2026 06:57

Happy Belated Birthday @Gingercar . I’m just heading home after 3 weeks in Spain, but the scales here are saying I have more or less stayed the same. I go up then down but still in a buffer of 2kg so happy with that. Hope you are all doing ok x

Megsdaughter · 29/06/2026 10:47

Happy Birthday @Gingercar .

Scales are still moving down, but slowly. Half lb at a time. But I was told by a elderly gent I know, while wearing the first strappy sundress Ove worn in years, hiw lovely I looked 🤭

HKG · 29/06/2026 13:26

Right guys, I think I’m over and out. My body does not want to lose anymore and I’m very disappointed but I ain’t got the cash to keep
going. I really wanted to get to the 10 stone bracket but instead I’ve been hovering at the 12 stone mark for months in 5’6”. I upped my dose to 6.75 yesterday out of frustration but realise that won’t help since I don’t have more food noise and not feeling hungry so it’s obviously just me. And as I try to eat less to lose I have found my hair falling out in handfuls this weeks. So time to just admit it and move on it think. 😭😭😭

SignedUpAgain · 29/06/2026 17:03

Still no loss again here. Been hovering around 88kg for weeks. Same half a kilo of and on.

sick of it.
that’s still very overweight for my height. According to my maths it’s 13 stone 12lb
and still classed as obese.

target range is up to 11stone (70kg)
seems impossible

this slow slow progress at the moment is taking the shine off the weight I did manage to lose up to now.

didn’t feel great on 12.5mg so have ordered 10mg. Not sure if that’s a stupid thing to have done.

dont really have food noise. But definitely have cravings for sweets stuff. Which I didn’t have for months.

Snap. I’m exactly the same.
going on holiday next week for 3 weeks and when I return I’m going to try moving up again to 12.5mg and try and shift this final two stone.

I can cope with 10mg, not so much 12 but not much is happening and my sweet tooth after a meal is singing loudly these days.

Hey HKG

It's so frustrating isn't it? DH said today that he thinks he's out too - it's been almost 5 months without a decent loss for him and he's tried SO hard. The cost, the work and no reward...it's grinding him down.

One thing I said to him that he doesn't have is the support and community I have with you all - I think it's made a huge difference to me (especially my weight losses have definitely slowed right down recently)

I hope you'll stick around on the thread and still let us lift you up - it's always great to see your username and hear how you are.

Sussex 💜

ElsieJay · 29/06/2026 21:01

@Gingercar - (very) belated birthday wishes to you ! 🥂🍾💐🎂
Not been reading our thread over the weekend , but sorry to have missed your special day xx

ElsieJay · 29/06/2026 21:08

@Apprenante and @DBatteryBand - I see your chocolate and ice cream , and raise you ……
I felt VERY 🤢afterwards !

ElsieJay · 29/06/2026 21:48

@HKG , @SignedUpAgain and @Kipperandarthur - just echoing @SussexLass87 - please stay with this thread even if you’ve decided to come off the MJ/Wegovy. 🙏

I couldn’t have done without all of you lot, especially in the days ( well, months to be honest ) when nobody in “real life” knew I was having WLIs.
Only three people know even now.
We’re away at the moment , I haven’t jabbed in a month and am eating everything in sight
rather unwisely for more days than I’m being sensible - but this thread keeps me (sort of) accountable.

Chocolate ,strawberry and ice cream waffle notwithstanding…… 😳

Oh Sussex!!! That made me actual weepy! Thank you! That really made all the difference and I will definitely hang about like a bad smell to keep
cheering you guys on! What a sweetheart you are. Thank you thank you

HKG · 29/06/2026 22:47

@ElsieJay always here to support you! You’re an inspiration and it has been an honour to cheer you on too - what a lucky lot we are to have found each other. I really feel like I know you all.

@SignedUpAgain and @Kipperandarthur im sorry you’re also in the same position but I’m also glad we can feel like this together! I’ll be following your stories and hope the new doses work out for you both! You can do it!!!

ElsieJay · 29/06/2026 22:55

@HKG - repeat after me : I AM NOT A BAD SMELL. I AM A FRAGRANT FRIEND ! xxx

HKG · 29/06/2026 23:14

@ElsieJay 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I LOVE this!!! You are priceless!!

Apprenante · 29/06/2026 23:44

NOBODY is allowed to leave. Mounjaro may or not be a lifelong medication but the thread most definitely is. And everybody smells delicious!

I've not jabbed since the 15th June. I have about 4 doses left in my current pen and I'm spacing them out. Then I have one more pen for emergency use in case I go above my safety zone. It's a plan, but is it a workable and effective plan?

ElsieJay · 29/06/2026 23:55

@Apprenante - well said !

I toast you with a large glass of that delicious- sounding Marqisette - I’d never heard of it, so consulted the interweb for a recipe, and fully intend to brew/ mix/ concoct ( insert correct term) it ASAP. 🍹

HKG · 29/06/2026 23:59

@Apprenante that IS most definitely a plan! A brilliant plan, an A Team plan!!!

We're here for each other no matter what 🥰✨

SussexLass87 · 30/06/2026 09:48

It's tough going isn't it?

DH and I were saying last night how exhausting it is always thinking about portions, weight loss...even with the help of MJ. It hasn't been easy.

I haven't had a decent loss in a few weeks and tbh should go up a dose...but can't afford it. Which feels rubbish and I know it's something a lot of you have also found.

I'm just glad to have this thread and you all to talk it through - the advice, solidarity and support really is invaluable.

SignedUpAgain · 30/06/2026 10:19

Thanks everyone. It’s so helpful knowing I’m not the only one.

Only my DH ( a natural skinny person) and one “friend” know about my WLI. And she only knows because she badgered me on and on and on about why I was losing weight. Was sick of listening to her.

I’ll probably lie and tell her I’ve stopped.

no one else knows. I presume they all suspect going by the comments.

keep going everyone we can do it together
