I didn't lose anything for 9 months at one point, and last year I only lost 30lb according to nutracheck but it all adds up.!!yo7 know by now it's ups and downs but it feels like a kick in the teeth, I know

Thanks ..I know ,I started at 27 stone ..so I need to be kind to myself.
But I just don't understand how it can jump so much overnight.
I'm currently jabbing every 6 days ..might try every 5 days next week as I'm due to jab today

MrTiddlesTheCat · 25/02/2026 08:49

Another 2.2 kg down for me this week. I'm actually starting to feel that this will really work.

SW 136.5 kg
MJ SW 128.5 kg
CW 113.3
Total loss 23.2 kg (3.6 stone)

eibbed999 · 25/02/2026 09:12

Oh @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne - what an ordeal! Well done for surviving it and good luck with the results. If his cock drops off we will all come round and stamp on it, then set it on fire.

eibbed999 · 25/02/2026 09:17

It's frustrating @Springflowers2. And expensive. But if it does take you until next Christmas, so what? You've lost so much already, your body is probably becoming protective of what it has left! It certainly doesn't sound like you're over-eating. You WILL get there, you will reach that 14 stone target - and if that takes another year, does it really matter? You have decades of living left to do, so maybe relax and try to see the bigger picture rather than the bloody annoying 3lb gains? I say all of this as though I can do it myself - I can't, I get just as frustrated and sad about the fact I've lost the same few pounds over and over again!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 25/02/2026 11:09

My eating over the last two days has been all over the place. Fasting for surgery, then given toast followed by curry and rice and a yoghurt after it.

I topped it off with a whole packet of Revels and half a packet of wine gums in the car going home.

Obviously I've gained 2lb. But I feel a lot better today.

Billybingbong · 25/02/2026 11:35

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne well done on getting through a difficult day, it sounds like you had quite the ordeal. The Revels & wine gums were very well deserved!

MrTiddlesTheCat · 25/02/2026 12:52

Sometimes it just has to be done @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne. I've just had a massive scone with butter and jam at the hospital cafe. But after spending the night trussed up like a turkey and returning at stupid o'clock to have it all removed, I bloody earnt that scone.

Theringcycle · 25/02/2026 13:00

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne glad to hear you had the procedure but sorry to hear of the many tribulations - hope you are having a rest now and that you enjoyed the revels and wine gums. You should be so proud of yourself for getting through it.

TragicMuse · 25/02/2026 13:05

NSV! I’m wearing a skirt, no tights. My legs are not rubbing together! This feels like a moment!

MrTiddlesTheCat · 25/02/2026 13:06

Here's a pic of the new golden dose free pen after the 4th dose. There is still some extra liquid in there, but not a full dose. Looks like about a 3rd.

@MrTiddlesTheCat I think I am not going to worry or think about pens without the extra medication until they actually start to appear in the UK. I really hope that I am actually at my target weight by then and it will be less of a "hit" to my costs and progress.

Same here. What's that silly expression - it is what it is.

Yes, it looks like about a third. Well, in a 15mg pen that's still 5mg of MJ.

Happy Days!

I was idly wondering if the pharmacies would eventually try to flog the last pens containing the golden dose at a special price. But they couldn't. They're not allowed to recommend that people should use it.

Shame. It would be great to know before paying that you were going to get an old-style pen.

Social media will be going mad, advising everyone about where to buy them.
🤣

You look fabulous @PearlsTeapot !! Such a difference ❤️ I'm the same as you, I normally hide in my baggy jumpers that are too big now really.. I went out to meet friends today and wore a fitted jacket and I kept catching my reflection in shop windows and being shocked it was me, in a good way. My baggy jumpers and evil nasty hallway mirror are usually telling me I'm still the same as I was 5 stone ago 😆

I'm feeling the same way - so many people here and on other forums have posted trying to scaremonger that the pens are in the UK already, I've decided to stop thinking about it until the pens are definately here!

MrTiddlesTheCat · 25/02/2026 15:29

Sorry, I wasn't trying to scaremonger. I thought people were interested in the changes.

SilenceInside · 25/02/2026 15:37

@MrTiddlesTheCat oh I don’t think you are scaremongering and I appreciate that you are in receipt of the reduced-fill pen already. I just think I can’t spend any mental energy on worrying about it until I have one actually delivered to me.

Hecatoncheires · 25/02/2026 15:49

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne I hope your husband’s cock goes all crusty and green with a foul-smelling oozy pus for weeks before it falls off.

@PearlsTeapot Your pics are fab! Love the jumper.

And a general hello to everyone on the thread. I always feel rude singling out just a couple of people for specific mentions but I’m truly wishing everyone well.

Hecatoncheires · 25/02/2026 15:51

Oooh, and a NSW! I’ve just been making the dinner and I was able to pull my apron strings round to the front to tie them! That’s exciting in my wee world. 😁

SilenceInside · 25/02/2026 16:01

@Hecatoncheires congratulations! That was one of my best NSVs was when I realised that I could tie my apron strings at the front! I didn’t take waist measurements at the start as I was just too upset about my size, but I sort of wish I had done for comparison purposes.

TragicMuse · 25/02/2026 16:15

I haven’t tried that @Hecatoncheires but I’M GOING TO!

It’s my jabiversary on Sunday. I might do a comparison photo…

PearlsTeapot · 25/02/2026 17:46

Do, @TragicMuse it’ll be great to see!

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne fuck your husband, selfish cockwomble. You did it all by yourself and should be very proud. Here’s hoping for good results.

I’m in Edinburgh tonight celebrating DWs birthday. Just had pancakes for dinner and enjoyed every mouthful!

Fellow losers:

This series of threads has been singled out for a new MN initiative.
We're going to be a Group of Threads. All eleven threads will be pulled together.

A few long-running series' have been chosen.

There will be an option to see all eleven threads all in the same place, so that we can easily look back.

So we're trailblazing. It's because we've built up a strong and supportive community over a couple of years.

OP posts:
TragicMuse · 25/02/2026 19:58

Oh that is cool!

Yay us and our supportive community!

SilenceInside · 25/02/2026 20:02

It will be interesting to see if it’s helpful to oldies and newbies, and when we get to needing a new thread.
