had a wee look

swiftdoc chequp
0.25 £99 £85
0.50 £99 £115
1.0 £99 £125
1.7 £149 £145
2.4 £199 £160

Not much in it, but Chequp worth if you get put on the high dose.
You can refer a friend as well for £50 off which I will do when my friend moves over from MJ for her next pen.

KrankyKumquat · 03/09/2025 11:41

@Smallsalt
Ah yes, the refer a friend will be a big bonus (I haven't got one of them 😅). With the free P&P and £5 off, I think I'll be moving to Swift from Oushk when I've used up my stock - my bmi is a bit too low for them at 20 instead of 21, but they were open to discussing other health benefits and my BP and post-menopausal symptoms might be enough to swing it (plus if I put on 6lbs in the next 6 months)

Will you go to Wegovy?
I don't want to but MJ is now put of reach. Thank God I stock piled.
I am well skinny now, but too scared to go it alone.
It also has cleared away my psoriatic arthritic pain ( like, completely) and lowered my blood pressure.

Just canr imaging not having it......

Flapearedknave · 03/09/2025 13:22

I will definitely be moving to wegovy immediately as I don't have any pens after this last one! So happy to be the guinea (not so much) pig 😆

KrankyKumquat · 03/09/2025 13:50

@Smallsalt
I was thinking i would but I'm wavering again! I'm in the very fortunate position of maintaining easily on 2mg so I get 6 doses out of a 2.5mg pen. And I've got probably 6months stock. With Oushk, 2.5mg be £26 a dose, with SwiftDoctor £24. The lowest dose of Wegovy is almost the same price, as there's only 4 doses and I've no experience to judge if 6 microdoses would be the same effect. So, swapping is a risk with little to no financial benefit. Things may change with pricing before then I guess.

Femeia · 03/09/2025 18:47

I’m having a bit of stress with Oushk. I ordered 2 pens (7.5mg and 5mg) on 16 August for delivery on 2 Sept, as I go away on the 6th. No info until today when DPD said they are waiting for the goods. I have no idea if this means they’ll arrive in the next 2 days but if they don’t I have nobody to take them in. I have messaged Oushk to say that if they don’t come in time I’ll have to refuse delivery somehow and I’ll expect a full replacement at the original price (I paid the pre-hike price). Has anyone else experienced this or can offer any advice? Obviously I hope they arrive in the next two days….

NextPrimeMinister · 03/09/2025 19:16

I had zero coms from DPD who just delivered on the right day and left it on the doorstep. Is your delivery a day late?

Femeia · 03/09/2025 19:38

@NextPrimeMinisterit should have come yesterday so it’s at least 2 days late. It’s fine as long as it gets here in the next 2 days but otherwise, disaster!

FlappyFish · 03/09/2025 22:13

I get the we are expecting your parcel for DPD the day before delivery with Oushk.

imnottoofussed · 04/09/2025 08:27

I had a similar experience with cloud. Ordered on 14th and had no communication. Emailed them twice to say we are away and can’t accept delivery. Then the pen was delivered yesterday to an empty house. Managed to get a family member to go and put it in the fridge.

Bit of drama here with Dr Franks being banned from supplying weight loss meds: https://pharmacy4you.co.uk/gphc-prohibits-dr-franks-from-supplying-weight-loss-injections/

Edit: more detail in this article, seems to be a physical pharmacy of theirs that can't supply: https://www.chemistanddruggist.co.uk/news/regulation/system-wide-failures-gphc-bans-dr-franks-weight-loss-jab-supply-WAVSZ3I7KRFP5FPMXJOHMFALTY/

🤯
That's not good.

Looks like a few could end up in trouble re the selling of bulk orders and marketing practices

Choux · 05/09/2025 17:17

I checked the Dr Franks website - they were selling bundles of 3, 6 and 9 pens! Am both horrified and wishing I had stocked up at the old prices.

Think we can all understand that!

Juniper charged me the new price as I only got around to confirming on Tues, due to appointments and medication conversations etc.

Contacted customer service and they refunded the extra! I was expecting to tell them to switch me to wegovy!

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 06/09/2025 14:04

@Flapearedknave glad you’ve managed to switch to them. Great that they honoured the old price. I’ve no idea what to do now though as I don’t really want to pay £209 for a 5mg later this month.

It's awful what they've done. I hope as others have said, that it really affects the companies and they lower the price.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 06/09/2025 17:32

@Flapearedknave are you intending to stay with Juniper or cancel immediately? I’d feel a bit guilty for cancelling but I also don’t feel they’re doing anything more for that high price tag. It’s around £50-60 cheaper elsewhere.

YouAreEffluentKim · 06/09/2025 18:42

So I just took my 5mg dose 5 days after my last one. Before the price rise I had been contemplating going up to 7.5mg as I noticed food noise was creeping back in and I’ve managed to gain a couple of kg fairly effortlessly. I’m getting a bit of joint ache too and my periods are getting erratic again. I thought maybe it was a bit of a blip and I know I could lose the 2kg with a bit more effort and a little less wine, but to be honest the thought of consciously limiting myself really makes me feel depressed. After so long just eating what I wanted in whatever quantities (what I wanted was very different from my old normal and my quantities were far reduced) I just can’t go back to ‘dieting’ or ‘restricting’.

Anyway, I panic bought 3 x 5mg just before the price rise and I’m regretting it. So I’ve decided to jab every 5 days for the next few weeks to see how I get on. If that does the trick, I might order a 7.5mg when I’m ready to reorder but will seriously need to shop around as Oushk’s price for 7.5mg is painful and such a huge jump up from the 5mg price.

Perhaps prices might come down in the next few months due to reduced demand. Or I might consider wegovy…

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 06/09/2025 20:49

@YouAreEffluentKim I went down from 10mg to 8mg last week and omg the amount I’ve eaten and craved 😭. I was doing great until halfway through the week and then I just went crazy. It’s awful just how quickly the hunger sets in isn’t it.

I took 7.5mg last night and will be reducing down to 5mg as quickly as possible as nothing will make me pay the new 7.5mg price. Im still aiming to either maintain on 2.5mg or come off completely. the lowest I’ve tried to maintain on previously was 6mg.

I freely admit I still eat like a pig sometimes and still eat far too much. I don’t think I’ve learned what I hoped I’d learn while on MJ. I just eat what I want and medicate to do so which was not my original aim at all.

Moanranger · 06/09/2025 21:53

Last Monday I had a complete appetite fail. I normally get full fairly quickly, but in that moment I felt I could keep on eating, something I have rarely felt on MJ. I decided to take my MJ a day early & strong suppression returned pretty quickly, but it made me realise how much I really on MJ to control my food intake. I have a few months supply, but I will have to source it at some point in the future.
I am seeing no reports of a pill in testing or production as yet, & I think that’s the only way a lower price might be possible.
Worrying times

YouAreEffluentKim · 06/09/2025 22:45

I was depressed enough thinking it was just me, but sorry to hear it’s affected others too. At least it confirms to me that there I am deficient in the relevant peptide that makes ‘food noise’ a myth rather than a daily, intrusive reality.

FlappyFish · 07/09/2025 07:03

I am with you all on the recognition of how much MJ does control my food intake. If you remember I stopped MJ after titrating down this time last year almost. Wow. Time flies.

The hunger is insane.

I have worked back up to 10 on maintenance and I could go higher. It requires a lot of control now. Admittedly I gym like anything. The cross trainer is my new addiction. But I know without MJ I would finish those sessions and want to eat and eat and think I have earned it.

It really is so very odd and I need to accept I am missing bloody hormones. I am going to continue on MJ. I will just cut back my clothes spending. I appreciate I am lucky enough to be in a position to afford that.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 07/09/2025 08:29

Just weighed in and despite all the crazy eating this week I’m within a pound of my lowest weight 🤔.
I was back at work this week and I just sit all day and nibble snacks at my desk. I’ve gone from walking at least 10,000 steps a day to barely 1,000. I’ll see what the change is next week as it usually takes quite a few days for the weight to go up when I’ve been greedy.

I could in theory afford to stay on a higher dose of MJ but realistically it’s unfair as my DH works 5 jobs to pay for the kids’ nursery and wrap around childcare while I’m here wasting £200 a month on MJ instead of cutting back and lowering my dose. He’s never said a word and if the tables were turned I’d have lost my shit about selfishness well over a year ago.
Our mortgage rate is due to more than double in January so that will wipe us out and I need to be making more effort to save towards that as the payment is already huge.

I'll have a look at the cost with referral codes. I am not a loyal customer, so I am happy to move around.

I am definitely in the I can eat and am hungry more now. If I go 2 weeks between pens the end of the second week I notice my shopping including more snack stuff. Crisps, sweets. I am currently taking 12.5 and my new pen will arrive today. Going to try 10 this month.
