Shemed January Starters - Thread 4

Hello everyone! I completely missed the other thread was full (haven't been too well this week) so I've started this one and will tag as many people as I can think of from recent pages. Do tag anyone else you think of that might miss the new thread!

I hope everyone is okay. It's been unsettling times hasn't it with all the news about the price increases and very little from Shemed as to what they are planning. I am hopeful that of all people we will be shielded the most due to being on the Study (fingers crossed).

I weighed in this morning and took second dose of the 10mg. I seemed to put on this morning but if I take the weight I've been most of this week...

I am exactly half way to my target! And I've lost 25% of my bodyweight!

10mg - so far no burps or nausea but I am wondering if this extreme tiredness is in part due to the drug. Was eating just as I was before the last couple of days but today don't want to eat so who knows!

I'll read up and tag people if I can.

Back from my holidays and despite huge amounts of red wine, I'm back in the 59s again!

I am a day out of surgery from my skin cancer. But sore, bit sad but glad it’s done. Have to avoid exercise to let stitches heal over next 2-3 weeks. Scared about looking fitness

Glad your surgery is done and fingers crossed it all went well. I’m sure you won’t lose fitness completely, it’ll be just like having a long holiday then getting back to it. Can you walk at all? That’s all I could do after my operation for a few weeks and I didn’t find it too bad to get back to actual exercise when I was able to.

Yes I can walk but not weights, strain or sweating as wound healing

@Reginaphalangeeeee not yet . I actually have lost a bit this week . And had suppression although bank holiday stuff has meant I’ve ended up eating and drinking more than planned anyway . I have been making sure I drink more water which has helped with side effects but I seem to need a LOT.
I still think I’d like out of the study though so will still contact them .

Morning all. 2nd week back on 5mg and lost a whole 0.4lb this week, although after last weeks huge loss, I’m more than happy with that.

CW 14st 1.2lb Total loss 7st 7.3lb

First time I forgot to do my jab on a Tuesday! The bank holiday messed with my internal calendar for sure.

A bit of a loss this week, but as I've basically been sweating like a boxer trying to make weight I'm not at all surprised. In a fit of optimism, I've adjusted my subscription to a lower dose (0.5mg) for the next pen.

Morning all. 3rd week on 5mg and 0.4lb loss again this week. Slow but steady!

Hey all. Minor loss for me this week 0.4kg, but will take it as was actually up 1Kg in the hot weather.
not done exercise for over a week now since my surgery and generally feeling flat 😩
