My order with Cloud has been cancelled with no reason given. Not impressed.

Pumpkinforever · 22/08/2025 17:35

If I was Oushk I would pause circle chat until 1 September just saying a system upgrade is being tested. Just use it to post Oushk stock updates and price information.

QueenOfHiraeth · 22/08/2025 17:36

My order with Bolt has been approved. Says tracking info will follow soon.
I'm on 15mg but ordered a 12.5 as it was all I could find last week and I hope to reduce dose soon. Probably should do it sooner rather than later as 15 is my first ever experience of not fancying food in my whole life!

Puppylucky · 22/08/2025 17:37

Quick update on Cloud - I finally received an email today, saying that delivery would be delayed for another 7 days - so 14 days after order. There was also quite an interesting email from the founder / head pharmacist. He basically suggested the options of switching to Wegovy, or moving back to/ staying on a lower dose of Mounjaro - even though as he admits suppression won't be as effective. He also stated they were still in negotiations, but provided likely new prices for the lower doses only - which don't look too bad. I get the sense that this pharmacy at least, are trying to get customers to pivot to lower dosage for the whole of their journey and not move up as has been the recommended protocol so far. Which sounds a bit rubbish TBH - shifting the goal posts anybody?

The posts about missing out on the Oushk circle has just reminded me. Does anyone remember the olden days when forums used to "raid" each other?

I can still remember the hilarity of the weekend Mumsnet got raided by a forum for squaddies. Oh the good old days... 😂

Littlelambseativy · 22/08/2025 17:38

I ordered on Zavamed last Friday, and got an email today asking for more photos to verify my BMI, which I have never been asked to do since the first order a year ago. Anyway, I’ve sent them. So we’ll see what happens next!

FlappyFish · 22/08/2025 17:39

I do remember the forum raids. And now my OOO is on for the weekend I’m going to read some entertainment on Circle.

I don’t see the need for there to be a circle at all. Just close it down at this point because none of them can be normal!

JUST DISCOVERED PHARMACIES PRESCRIBING FACE TO FACE LOCALLY (sorry for shouting but thought it might be good to make it stand out)

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I've had major problems getting my next pen. Paid on 13th August with Bolt and still haven't heard a thing from them. Yesterday I did a quick google for Mounjaro + my town name and it came up that a local pharmacy now does a weight loss service near me. I got an appointment on line, went down same day and got my prescription straight away from the pharmacy after a consultation. I let my niece know and she was there by teatime getting her next pen from them too. It's a bit more than I was paying but omg so worth it to not have the stress!

I've been saying for a while that I think we should only be able to get from a face to face appointment, just had no idea it was already available! I've also just found Rowlands Pharmacy who also do face to face appointments and seem to roughly cover a lot of the UK.

This isn't who I got mine through but its worth googling Mounjaro near me to see if anything comes up.

Weekly Weight Loss Injection | Mounjaro | Rowlands Pharmacy

Littlelambseativy · 22/08/2025 17:44

Sorry, had to update, my order was approved 15 minutes after I sent the photos. Not sure what that says about the photos Blush

FlappyFish · 22/08/2025 17:46

If anyone here is * by the way I salute you.

I do feel like I’m on Tattle now. The pendemic continues to mean we are all a bit BS crazy.

Edited

I've got mine from my local pharmacy since I started at the end of April. It's a much easier option, but can be slightly more expensive.

In terms of my local Pharmacy which is Day Lewis (300 branches) their future pricing for the lower level pens is good, not so good for the higher level though.

Pumpkinforever · 22/08/2025 11:20

A few pharmacies have grown on WLIs. They have invested in websites, customer service and employing more staff. WLIs have been a lifesaver to some pharmacies who have been struggling.

And I guess suppliers such as UKMedi have also benefited from selling more needles and syringes.

On line it wouldn't be 100 pens every weekday it would be 100 pens 7 days a week

PillarPost · 22/08/2025 17:59

As @FlappyFish says - it’s time to get a hobby. I’m not even going to look at the daily mail “Fat Jabbers Meltdown” (laugh or cry?). Though I’m it would provide some macabre entertainment.

If my pharmacist actually sends out my 2 pens (scattergun approach) I’ll have enough for maintenance well into 2026, maybe even into eternity.

I’ll also have at least £1000 worth of medication in my fridge, which freaks me out a bit. I had to cover debits with American Express instalment plan. Of course I’m also now thinking - if there was a power failure, what then my friend, what then?

I think modern life is driving us all a bit bonkers at times like this. Maybe a field and a shawl and a border collie far away from civilisation, at my age (63), would be preferable.

ThatCyanSheep · 22/08/2025 18:02

Well I cocked up my dose tonight because somehow my pen had gone beyond the third dose (I could see the plunger down below the line), I think I over clicked it to prime with the previous doses, and it wouldn’t click past about 50 clicks. So I had to use one of my insulin needles and I’ve ended up taking about 13.33mg tonight. I didn’t really want to do that, but the bloody needle wouldn’t play ball

I’d love to laugh at some of these posts, tres amusant. But MN removed that “reaction”. I can only agree, love or show gratitude. I suppose people were laughing sarcastically/sardinically/abusively at posters rather than with them 😂.

The pendemic. You have to be in it to win it! Or comprehend it ….

But I’m kinda over it now. Im sure others are “coming down” now. Where’s the chill out room, anyone? I didn’t even react to Covid like this.

Very nice email from Lotus, this evening. I’d asked about postage. I do feel for some of the pharmacies actually, as I said already; they also were taken by complete surprise. No plan B.

But ultimately it may? all prove to be something of a storm in a teacup. It’s also forced me a little bit to think about my long-term maintenance plan, once I reach goal which is about to 10-14 lbs away. I may even have too many pens going forward 😵‍💫 after I pressed the panic button 😱 on Monday.
