Bit worried about my delivery from Lotus. Had an email from Signature not to tell me it was on its way but to book delivery - with the earliest being Sunday, not tomorrow! Now worried about 2 expensive pens being out of the fridge that long! Every other provider has shipped next day (and all of those except Pharmacy2U arrived with cool blocks entirely defrosted despite wool packing!) It’s a lot of money at stake if these pens aren’t kept chilled…

Won’t they be despatching tomorrow for delivery on Sunday?

I Had an email earlier from Lotus so assumed it had left them and now waiting with Signature!

TryingAgainAgainAgain · 22/08/2025 18:35

No, Lotus have contracted Signature to supply some of their orders, so the pens will be despatched from Signature, @MissMogs.

As they dither , pend, cancel etx I have been putting mine on my cc so it shows as pending. But I’m not actually paying out for it from my main bank account. Esp as some say pending then cancel then refund money

I went a bit crazy ( my OCD presents as bulk buying ) and ordered from 5 pharmacies last week assuming they wouldn’t all fulfill , 2 cancelled . 2 have despatched , 1 received today, 1 due tomorrow , and now annoyingly I can’t cancel my outstanding order for ZAVA who were the most expensive ( £209 for 12.5 ) I feel bad reading the threads so was happy to give the pen up for someone else to have a chance . Still at least I’m good now until Xmas 😬

Oh! But should I go searching for drama? I feel bad now for wanting to laugh at unfortunate Oushkers. Like a modern Bedlam visitor.

Well I can’t endorse it, but…

MynameisJune · 22/08/2025 18:51

Looking at those medexpress prices if everyone comes in around the same I can see medicine market place being busy after September and not many others right now. There’s a bit of difference between them as the cheapest and others that have declared. I wonder if they’ve undercut to go with the quantity over quality type of thinking.

Celeryedition · 22/08/2025 18:57

Boots have confirmed their prices. There’s a 10% return custom discount on top of that and about £10 of advantage card points.

Boots have just sent out their new prices email. Not too bad at all. They’ve also allowed me to order two extra pens at the lower price.

Celeryedition · 22/08/2025 19:00

@supadupapupascupa I didn’t think Boots would do that. I’ve been with them all along. Did you just ask them straight?

Having said that my June pen was £206 so it’s only a £40ish increase so it’s not that much of a panic!

supadupapupascupa · 22/08/2025 19:01

@Celeryeditioni didn’t think they would either! I just messaged them to ask and they said ok! Fill in another questionnaire!

Celeryedition · 22/08/2025 19:10

@supadupapupascupa Genuinely surprised by that.

They haven’t really increased that much to be honest. I was preparing for £330ish. I paid £206 for a 10mg in June with the 10% off. My next pen will be a 7.5 as I’m thinking of maintaining more than losing more, so that should be £241.20 with a discount, so only a £35.20 increase.

Return of custom puts 15 at about £300 then, no? That’s tempting

I've got mine from my local pharmacy since I started at the end of April. It's a much easier option, but can be slightly more expensive.

In terms of my local Pharmacy which is Day Lewis (300 branches) their future pricing for the lower level pens is good, not so good for the higher level though.

I had no idea it was an option! Sadly I was on 15 - they didn't have it in stock so I've got 12.5 but I'm going to try to reduce it to a lower level. When I started everyones advice was to get onto the higher dose as quickly as possible and then count clicks. I haven't done that, so might as well try to go down again. I'm going to stick with my local pharmacy - it's just too stressful trying to get it online.

FoxRedPuppy · 22/08/2025 19:33

This is why I like Asda, as I can pick it up n person and don’t get stressed about delivery times!

Another update from SwiftDoctor.

"📢 We have secured a VERY LIMITED supply of Mounjaro. Unfortunately no 12.5mg or 15mg.
Ordering will open on Saturday 23rd August at 12pm with the following criteria: ✅ Existing SwiftDoctor customers only (those who have placed an order with us in the last 6–8 weeks)
✅ Patients who have not placed an order on or after 14th August
✅ This is a PRE-ORDER at current pricing — by ordering you confirm you are happy to wait for a delayed dispatch of 1–2 weeks (although we hope deliveries will arrive sooner).
⚠️ Please note: Any orders that do not meet these criteria will be cancelled and refunded as we process the orders. Refunds may take 5–7 working days to process. Please only order if you meet the above requirements.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work hard to support all of our patients fairly."

I hope I don't sound like an Oushker but I am, honestly, so impressed with this company, they have been professional and done their best to protect their existing patients and prevent stockpilers.
They have told everyone they will not announce new prices till next week as they are still working to keep them as reasonable as possible and are not accepting any new customers until things settle down.

Celeryedition · 22/08/2025 19:42

@ThatCyanSheep

Hang on!!! I’ve missed the bit at the end. The price in the picture includes the 10% discount (slyly done there Boots!). There’s a 10% discount for new customers.

Will be paying £62 per month more for a 7.5 which still isn’t as bad as expected.

Anyone know when oushk will have stock? I’ve been with them 6 months, managed to order a 2.5mg with them (I’m on 5mg). And then another 2.5mg from another provider! That’s it! Buys me a month..

looked at voy, for new customers they will only give the ozempic option.
