Mounjaro February to April 24 starters

Hi all,

Thought I would start a thread for those that started quite early on and would like a space to chat with others that started around the same time. Like the threads that are dedicated to those starting in May, June, July etc thought it would be nice to have a space for people have have been on for similar amount of time.

I just went though the order process to check and it now says it if trying to order 15mg. Must have been added in the last day or two.

How annoying! Saw on Oushk FB that longer dated pens are due for delivery tomorrow (and presumably, to other pharmacies too) so doubly annoying if you've missed it by 24hrs.

@MelissaLouRocks that's brilliant news, I'm so pleased for you.

I'm quite glad I'm still on 10mg so I don't have to worry about pen stuff. I also don't have a stash, I've got so far to go it doesn't seem worth it!

After I ended up feeling really sick on 10mg I have gone back to 7.5mg by counting clicks. I've felt much better and although I get full quickly and not as hungry I'm eating what I would consider a more reasonable amount. I struggled to eat much at all after a few weeks of 10. It does require a bit more willpower to eat the right things, but i don't want to be basically starving myself.

I also went shopping yesterday as my mini smaller wardrobe is now all looking a bit big. It was nice trying stuff on in just regular sizes!

I'd insist on replacement or refund and not take no for an answer! Not everyone orders to use straight away, you could have been going away for months on business for example. I know apparently there are no longer dated 15mg at the moment, but they should have explained this and proposed another solution.

Due to having to come off for my surgery, I now have 5 pens of 7.5 and 10 in the fridge, which will last me 'til they all expire in Feb! I got two free using the referral discount on Med Express, so a huge thank you to anyone who used my code, it's helped my finances enormously. Then I shall be on Oushk £20 "holding plan".

@MelissaLouRocks So glad to see you back, I was getting a bit worried about you. Really pleased you're feeling better.

The joke thing is, it's not even left them yet!

So if they do get new stock of 15mg tomorrow... I'll probably still get the old stuff! Lol

This is Zava who never reply to my messages! So complaining probably wont get me anywhere! 🤣

Let's hope by the time they get around to packing it, it will be new dates stock!

I'm only with them because I have coupons left!

ugh Zava also gazumped me by adding that disclaimer only after confirming successful prescription and dispatch. I can only hope October 2024 is six months long 😂

Started counting clicks on 1.7 Wegovy but I ordered the wrong size of needles from Amazon

Can someone link me to the ones they use for their wegovy pen please?

Also, has anyone experienced itchiness once they went up to 1.7 mg on Wegovy? I don't want to be allergic! I'm taking piriton to combat the itchiness but its making me sleepy which I'm already fighting as a side effect of the injection 🥴

Glad it's not just me who thinks the body fat 'targets' on the fancy scales are impossible. My body fat has come down to 34.9 which I'm pretty pleased with.

My DP told me today that some of the blokes at his work have bought calipers and have formed 'measuring club' 😂. They'll be spending their breaks trying to measure the fat inches on their bodies and making sure they don't have spare fat in the wrong places.
That's definitely not how I'd want to spend my spare time and I'm pretty sure all my fat is in the wrong places!

Yes some of us still pop onto the 'continuing...' threads too but needed a place to talk about some of the issues to do with the long haul rather than starting out! Especially maintenance.

I saw a new weight on the scales today - 73.9kg. Haven’t been that weight in decades. My weight loss is very slow now with week or 2 long plateaus. I’m due my bonus dose of my 2nd 7.5mg pen and I think I’m going to go up to 8.5mg - has anyone tried 8.5mg?

In terms of MN, I'd never even been on it before MJ and can't remember how I ended up here (I don't even have kids 🙃). But so glad I found it - this community is like no other.

@ObsidianTree have you had any updates on your MJ reaching Royal Mail after being dispatched? It’s been 2 days -Zava used to be so speedy before! Also 15mg - are they up to something with their expiring supply?

It's being delivered today. I ordered it Sunday!

I am guessing Zava only just delivered to the post office. Maybe they are only sending out once a week now!

Does your tracking still say dispatched?

I also hit a new territory today. I'm a lb lower than the weight I was went I met my husband. So heading into weight that my husband hasn't seen me before! Also last time I was this weight I was in my 20s.

Have put a little weight on in the last few days but still a surprising loss given I'm definitely eating and snacking more.

Starting weight 15st 11lb 8oz
Last week 10st 11lb 8oz
Today 10st 8lb 2oz

My bmi is now 25.9 so I'm getting worryingly close to my goal of 10st (bmi 25) now. Still no word on the missing pen from my pharmacy but I'm regretting buying it as I don't think I'll actually need it, given that I have about 4 left in the fridge 😕.

I'm finding it strange how quickly bmi drops now I'm not massive. Also odd how my weight loss has picked up over the last month from 1-2lb a week to 3-4lb a week despite me feeling like I'm struggling more to not snack constantly.
