It's in the fridge and I'm going to take the plunge on Monday!
Feeling really nervous about it all. Anyone due to start next week too?

That's interesting, google told me to use small amounts and def no more than a tablespoon a day Confused

Well you could have 1 tablespoon and 100ml of milk to make a pudding, they’re probably saying not to have more because of its effect on the stomach, but this is what you actually want, to ship things along

JustMoved123 · 19/07/2024 18:51

I didn’t know about hair loss, is it permanent? My hair is very fine already

ToriMJ · 19/07/2024 19:42

@MzHz ahh yes that's probably it!

It happens with extreme weight rapid weight loss. Just go steady, plenty of protein, take a multivit

No idea. If you Google side effects it's apparently common

ToriMJ · 19/07/2024 19:46

I've had 519 calories today and now making myself have some dinner because it's not enough.

I'm having a protein shake because it's easy wins

Today was so easy. I had a mint tea and a Portuguese pastry with friends

Iced coffee and a salmon and cream cheese sandwich and a smoothie. Home made

Now a salad and pitta and some shredded chicken and avacodo. I reckon 1200 cals.

I don't feel hungry or weak and shaky between meals. Make me realise how much my blood sugar crashes Now it seems so stable.

HideHide · 19/07/2024 21:06

Thank you! I’m glad the first one is done! I’ve been getting lost in all the videos on TikTok and just glad I’m now starting. Long way to go but feel very positive

Me too! Roll on Sunday.

SJLO · 19/07/2024 22:14

@HundredMilesAnHour I am considering taking jab early on Sunday are you? Defo feel the difference today! Was picking at chips at dinner 😭

I take mine on Sunday mornings anyway @SJLO - have my breakfast and coffee and then it's jab time.

Tonight has been the first time since starting last Sun that I've thought about buying junk food / sweets. I ate some chicken instead to try and keep the hunger pangs at bay but I could have easily 'fallen off the wagon'.

I'm wondering if I'm one of those people who don't feel much/any appetite suppression until the second month when it increases to 5.

QueenEthelTheMagnificent · 19/07/2024 22:36

Oh my have just done my first jab!!! Feeling good about it, so so worried about side effects so fingers crossed the next 3 days go
well!

Ilovethewild · 19/07/2024 22:46

I had my 2nd jab today and definitely notice the food noises more today, caught myself looking in the kitchen. Came to bed early 😝
hopefully they quieten down tomorrow
no other side effects

SJLO · 19/07/2024 22:48

@HundredMilesAnHour would you consider taking it late Saturday night? As that's what I am thinking about doing...

ToriMJ · 19/07/2024 22:52

I don't think it would matter if you took it the night before.

Joining the first jab crew tonight - did it around ten mins ago and I've been freaking out ever since Grin

ToriMJ · 20/07/2024 00:01

Welcome to the gang!
Eat clean, that's my top suggestion! Little meals through the day, loads of water and loads of protein.
You'll be great Flowers

I do know it happens with weight loss surgery due to very rapid weight loss, so I guess depends on how much and how quickly you lose, depends on if it happens with this jab? Everyone's bodies are very different though xx

ACEwards · 20/07/2024 06:01

I only did my first dose Thursday evening and I'm already freaking about when I start to come off the drug and gaining weight 🫣🤯 I think if you could overthink your self to death that would be me 😂😂😂

MadameMassiveSalad · 20/07/2024 07:18

Could you take this then stop for a holiday and go back on again afterwards? 🤔
