I ended up taking my next injection today as per the schedule. Appetite has been pretty suppressed all day. I’m crossing everything I don’t get the nausea I had last time. I also switched injection sites - last time did thigh, and this time - stomach. Where is everyone doing their jabs?

I've been going with stomach (alternating sides each time) as I read it absorbs fastest there. I've just ordered 0.5mg pen so I have it ready. My last dose of 0.25mg is this Thursday.

I saw a recommendation for peppermint oil capsules to help with the sulphur burps which come with 0.5 dose so going to order some of those.

I took my third injection yesterday. 3kg lost in 2 weeks. I’m obviously on 2.5mg. I’m so really not hungry at all hardly ever and can barely finish my food

@Greentrilby thanks lovely! I am! Also a bit spooked because it seems like too much too quickly, but everywhere I’ve read said this is only ever on week 1 and then it tapers down so I’m hoping for more reasonable 1-2 kg per week going forward.

Have you or @Snipples had any side effects from injections in the stomach? I was petrified to try it yesterday because I’ve read it can give you the most side effects but so far, so good! 🙏🏼

@3wDavid I always go for the stomach, usually below my belly button although I'm going to try above it this week. For some reason, the thighs feel too muscular for me to inject in, even though logically I know they have a large coating of fat on them!

I've never had any major bad side effects so far so I can't comment on if stomach is worse for that, although we'll see what 5mg has in store for me tonight!

3rd injection last night, really felt the good thoughts coming back and smells being nice rather than repulsive! So I was deffo due my next dose.

Ive lost 8pounds in 2 weeks which I am okay with. It’s not groundbreaking but enough to keep me positive about this journey being successful!

Need to figure out how to get the bonus dose out for next week. I’m going to do my last 2.5 injection and then inject what’s left - prepping me for my first 5 dose I hope.

first 5mg jab today so up from 2.5mg. I do thigh as apparently less gastro side effects. The 2.5mg took maybe a day or two to feel like it was working. The 5mg is more or less immediate so will keep injection site.
lost 12lbs on the 4 weeks of 2.5mg so chuffed with that.

I've not had any bad side effects from injecting in stomach, but haven't tried any other place so can't really compare. I had a bit of a dodgy tum last weekend after we had a Chinese takeaway on Friday (I had a small portion but it didn't agree with me and I was running to the loo for the next 48 hours). I think this would have happened regardless of where I injected tbh.

I'm a bit nervous of nausea side effects when I move up a dose but I suppose at least then you know it's working!

Day 3 I've had a headache for the past couple of days, nothing major just in the background all the time. I'm trying to drink more as I know I'm not great with that.

This morning has been a surreal experience, I woke up, didn't really feel hungry. Made my usual porridge, with chia seeds and peanut butter. I think I've eaten about a third of it, and I just don't want to eat anymore. I don't think I've ever had this sensation before after so little food.

I am absolutely cream crackered since taking this second jab. I am napping a lot and my appetite is non existent. Also very constipated. Help!

Week 1 on 2.5mg I lost 1lb. Certainly eating less.

Welcome! I was 19 stone 1 a couple of weeks ago, the morning of my first injection I was 18 stone 13. It's ten days later and I'm 18 stone 5

@ShiftySandDune i get the tiredness and the constipation. I recommend naps and glycerine suppositories if it gets too much. Ideally I’d like to take a supplement to help - on another thread aloe Vera was mentioned but I can’t find it now

3 weeks in today and ten pounds off, although I’d lost the last two on wed last week and then it went back on again. Finding that I want to snack more now. Have my 5mg already in the fridge

I finally tipped the half stone mark this morning, after about 2.5 half weeks so I'm feeling really pleased.

I've been feeling quite tired lately too, so having the odd nap if needed but I'm always knackered with 2 little kids so it's hard to know if it's the jabs or just general life!

One month weigh in today and I'm at the same weight I was last Monday, so a 12.5 loss in total for the first pen. I'm happy with that after a weekend away and yesterday ended with a late and heavy meal so I suspect it might drop a bit tomorrow.

Took my first 5mg injection last night and don't feel any different to when I was on 2.5mg. No negative side effects at all and I was already very appetite suppressed on 2.5 so staying the same that way too. Implementing a stricter approach to dieting this month to try and have good losses now the first month has shed all the water weight.

Sounds like a good plan. Will be interesting to hear how you get on with the higher dose.

I just checked my BMI and I'm now "overweight" instead of obese. Which makes a nice change! I do think BMI is a load of rubbish though as the healthy range for me is really low so my target weight will still mean I'm overweight but I'm happy with that.

@ClonedSquare 12.5 loss is great! did you try and get the extra dose out of your 2.5 pen?
