To ask how much your wedding dress cost?

Because I can't find the bloomin' Weddings topic!
I'm getting married sometime next year and I have no idea how much anything costs.
So go on how much was yours?

£8.79 from Ebay. It wasn't really a "proper" wedding dress, it was a Coast dress. A wedding dress will cost you however much you want to spend. Congratulations and have a fantastic day!

Mine was £48 but it wasn't a traditional wedding dress, just a dress I loved that was reduced in Monsoon.

£16 - in 1983 !

Mine was £70 from Light in the box and it was beautiful.

I think it is true that you can spend as much, or little as you like. Mine was £800- a lot for a dress I will never wear again! I have heard of people paying £2000 + !!!

£650 7 years ago. It was bloody gorgeous - Maggie Sottero and I don't regret my choice for a minute. I felt like a princess and had a waist for the first time ever.

£25. 5yrs ago in TKMaxx, real wedding dress allegedly rrp of £600. A lot of my work colleagues seem to have spent between £800-£1200 on a dress. with lots of fittings.

£660 in 2005 - I could have bought it for half the price on the internet but bought into the ludicrous notion that I was special perfect princess for the day and didn't want to risk it. Wedding shop people turned into complete arses once money received and were extremely rude and unhelpful. If you live in Edinburgh avoid buying your dress from Emma Roy.

I had it made, so it wasnt very much (a couple of hundred or three I think)

Just over £1000 including alterations. It was on offer, reduced from £1400. I loved it but it is a crazy amount of money to spend on something I wore once and then put in the loft. This was 2009 by the way.

If I had a dress worth that much I would wear it to do the shopping, and the school run... and the gardening!

£1050 in 2006, made to measure. Think in wedding dress world, this is a good price for made to measure. Kind of regretted it though!

£180 in 2001 in the sale

It was alfred angelo one and was £750 plus fittings etc and alterations - with tiara, veil and alterations it was probably £1250 or thereabouts.

I hired mine , but I got married 14 years ago. My sister got a Monsoon one last year in the sale from £220ish to £75.

That was 7 yrs ago.

Mine was about £250 but that was 12 years ago.

Remember it costs a lot to alter them too if you're not the manufacturers standard size. I've heard of girls taking out alteration packages of £150 when they order their dresses.

£1100, 4 years ago, and worth every penny to me.

If I wasn't pregnant right now I'd still be trying it on every so often usually after a night drinking with my girlfriends and prancing round the house swishing my skirts!

Just under £1000 (just over that with alterations).

£860 in 2008. Best of intentions to sell it on afterwards but couldn't part with it.
Now gathers dust in wardrobe. Still think I should sell it while it is still fashionable but probably won't.

£129 from TK Maxx, I bought it the week I got engaged, figuring it wasn't the end of the world if I saw something else and didn't end up wearing it

I treated myself to an afternoon at a really nice bridal boutique with my pals and fell in love with Clarlotte Balbier's Flo which was £1200. But I think what I loved about it was how trussed up and corseted I was in it, it's not a million miles away from Maxxy. So I'm going to buy a corset to wear under Maxxy and it'll be reet :)
