Snow watch

Might as well get going on this thread, though it is rather a tease at the moment.

The ECMWF model is hinting at the possibility of some much colder weather next week, perhaps bringing some snow to Scottish hills. BUT the met office are still going for quite a wild and wet affair instead.
The ECMWF shows quite an interesting scenario really.

I am in Gloucester. Just rain so far. Dying for some snow. Where are people getting their weather forecasts from?

Definitely raining at 0515 but have just gone to let the dog out and we’ve got 2-3 inches of snow! (I’m not sure who was more surprised - me or the dog!)

I lie! I just opened the back door and its definitely starting to vaguely snow .... although I highly doubt any will actually stick as it has been raining heavily here. It's also incredibly cold! My spaniel did a u turn and thought 'nah. Dont need to pee that badly'

I'm excited to wake the dog up! She's 3 and only seen snow once in her life .

We have a tiny sprinkle in Manchester but I dont think it will last.

We've had a couple of inches in Wolverhampton.

Even this will cause chaos.

South Staffordshire. Maybe 3 inches and really coming down. I’m MIGHTY pissed off that my DH considers it ‘essential’ to have driven 35 miles to play golf - I’ll be on pins all day. Plus I’ve got a click and collect to go and get. Really not looking forward to driving in this. I absolutely hate the stuff!
