In general it looks like it could be quite a stormy month with a lot of potential showing from the 9th onwards. Might be worth looking at your fences in the south before then

The Queensferry crossing is a bloody joke. That bridge cost a fortune and has done nothing to ease the congestion on either side. Now its closed because snow is dropping off it

Absolutely freezing here in Cheshire and so windy, apart from one very heavy short hail shower it's dry though. Other than that, it's almost worse than yesterday!

Very, very windy on the east coast this morning. Bet it doesn't blow me and my bike to work!

I think the wind might be worse here today than it was on Sunday. My West facing office window has blown open twice.

Snowing here at the minute but very lightly.

Have been "grounded" for the past 2 days - couldn't get into work yesterday or today, as the Old Severn Bridge is completely shut in both directions to all vehicles not just high sided ones, which is quite unusual. Better to be at home and safe. Sometimes my home bound journey in bad conditions can be horrendous so I'm relieved not to be doing it!

Wind was howling all through last night, now a lot calmer...

I came back from Brussels to Dublin last night - no worries and just slightly slower than usual because of headwinds.

Beautiful brisk sunshine, hardly any wind, clear skies and 3 degrees this morning. Snow on hills just outside the city but nothing on streets.
