LittleMissCwtch ~ if you're away from the coast, you should be in for quite a lot more snow overnight.

TokyoSushi · 31/01/2019 18:45

Ahem, when you say a bit further north, how much further north? Cheshire?

GloriaSmud · 31/01/2019 18:46

Frouby ~ you probably won't get any snow overnight but could get some snow showers coming from the NE tomorrow.

GloriaSmud · 31/01/2019 18:48

TokyoSushi ~ probably not that far north. Sorry Tokyo.

SpinneyHill · 31/01/2019 18:49

@GloriaSmud me too!
I stupidly told my 5 yr old Leicester would get snow thanks to the 'heavy snow' and 'warning 10 hours of snow to fall on Leicester ' nonsense, he was devastated when he checked out the window this morning..

NigellasGuest · 31/01/2019 18:49

Radars say it's snowing here now, but its not.
Confused

GallicosCats · 31/01/2019 18:52

Nope, it's stopped again.

Pascha · 31/01/2019 18:55

So right now BBC says 89% chance of snow getting heavier at 8-9pm for a time while Met office says dry til 10pm then 10% chance of snow. Both suggesting it will fizzle out to rain by 4am.

I'm in S Kent, which is more likely?

MorvahRising · 31/01/2019 18:56

NigellasGuest I came on to say the same thing - the radar says it should be snowing hard here (south Surrey) but not a single flake has appeared!

fortyfourfeasts · 31/01/2019 18:57

Gloria I'll join you in willing it North!

Catbot · 31/01/2019 18:58

Oh. It's stopped.

JustLurkingAway · 31/01/2019 19:03

The weather apps can't make their mind up for south W Midlands tonight, BBC weather says small chance of rain, Met Office says nothing's really happening and the iPhone weather app says a 30% chance of snow around midnightConfused

MayhemandMadness01 · 31/01/2019 19:03

Any snow for North Merseyside?

LittleMissCwtch · 31/01/2019 19:05

Thanks Gloria I'm about a 40 minute drive from the coast so hopefully it will start again Grin

NigellasGuest · 31/01/2019 19:05

Is Somerset the farthest east the snow has reached so far?
Morvah pesky radars!

Butternutissquashed · 31/01/2019 19:08

Not so much as a flake yet near Cardiff. Brother in the centre of Cardiff has had a bit.

GloriaSmud · 31/01/2019 19:13

SpinneyHill and fortyfourfeasts ~ if the 3 of us keep sending 'willing it north vibes', perhaps it'll keep moving northwards!

NigellasGuest According to posters from the SE area on Netweather, it's reached as far as Brighton.

perhapstomorrow · 31/01/2019 19:16

We've got light snow!!

GloriaSmud · 31/01/2019 19:17

MayhemandMadness01 ~ probably not for your area.

Yay perhapstomorrow!

HollySwift · 31/01/2019 19:19

How far from the south coast are we talking? Is 10 miles in land not enough? Sad

unicornsrule · 31/01/2019 19:21

Alexa says 2 Cms

GloriaSmud · 31/01/2019 19:22

Whereabouts in the south are you, HollySwift?

gizmosslave · 31/01/2019 19:22

Any idea for Swindon? I’m loosing hope:(

brizzledrizzle · 31/01/2019 19:23

It's snowing in Bristol right now, I read it on Accuweather so it must be true.

I've got a feeling we're not in Bristol any more.

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 31/01/2019 19:25

@JustLurkingAway I am in south birmingham...weather has changed constantly today! Snow from 8-12 at the moment! Was forecast rain earlier
