OYBBK & Gloria - my local weather man in Cannock posted to say all the models bar one showed no snow for us in Staffordshire but his station was definitely showing snow and so he said to be prepared as he thought it may travel further north than they were predicting... is he a genius after all after you guys said it was travelling further north than expected?!?🤞

Ooh it wasn’t settling in Exeter when I left. Might be some hope for a snow day yet.

LeBelle there was a couple of hours of rain and sleet then suddenly at just before 5 it all went white. It's still coming down and looking very pretty.

I’m on the border of the snow if it comes a bit further north we will get it in the night (East Northamptonshire)

How’s the weather in central London. I’ve tickets to go to a show and worrying about going Saturday (3 hour train journey to get to London for me from Norfolk) I can change tickets but would prefer to go this weekend.. do I risk it??!

Are we likely to see any in Cardiff? I need to know whether to leave the car up on the road or it’s usual spot on the sloping drive.

@PhilipTheLamb I'm dying to know where you are, I see Henstridge airfield and Compton Abbas are both covered in snow and it's huffing down at Compton Abbas (but it's always bad up there). Here it's just falling lightly and melting in the ground. I'm in a village starting with T famous for some knights.

Keeps missing our bit of Hampshire so far... boo. We're in the zone we call the Isle of Wight Triangle which stays stubbornly snow-free when the rest of the country is blanketed.😣

Nothing here yet. Herefordshire

90% heavy snow for Brizzle has turned into 60% sleet. And nothing is currently falling from the sky. Boo. Not sure I can cope with the disappointment.

Loving the map!! Hoping Bristol in the loads here / winter wonderland section. Leaning more towards panicing. Pressures dropping though.

Cardiff is likely to see snow. Maybe a bit of rain mixed in to start. Bristol too.

My radar says I've plenty happening, but so far it's clearly evaporating before it reaches the ground.

Saturday looks ok for London apart from snow showers possible but I'm going to focus on tonight into tomorrow for this evening.

Can I ask if we are getting more in the South Wales valleys near Caerphilly as it was really coming down but it's stopped completely thanks

Seeing conflicting reports here. (South York's). Bbc weather has snow showers, met office mainly dry.

It's very cloudy though and overcast. It's been foggy all day, hasn't got above -2 and the air is very wet. You could see the moisture glistening this morning under the street lights.

So am not 100% convinced by the met office but never believe the bbc either.

I also remember last December and we were tipped to have quite a bit then it missed us completely and fell further south causing problems as they didn't expect it at all.

Ooh, snow falling now - rather wet stuff though, nothing settling yet.
